Workmanship and materials are not up to par. So many things wrong with a “new house” and trying to get things done right and fixed is like pulling teeth. It’s a never ending process with the contractors who really don’t care now that the house is closed.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house-it just did not feel like it was cleaned after the work was completed. The front entryway and garage were stained with footmarks and junk.

The people whom I have interacted (both in Pulte Homes and Pulte Mortgage) were really great and helpful, Reg. Quality of materials, I am concerned. Mostly with the quality of inside doors ((the synthetic wood just peels off),) garage walls (plenty of room for insects between the dry wall and the floor), dish washer (which will never get dry), internet ports (just one at the corner of a two storeyed home) and door locks (none at the master bath room). I am not happy with the plan documentations either. Requested for a underground pipe layout plan of the backyard. But it was turned down, ...

My husband and I were super excited about the purchase of our new home. The sales consultant we worked with seemed very credible at first, however, we soon discovered that most of the information she provided was just a sales pitch. She misinformed us about a few different items related to the structure of the home and the percentage owed based on the options chosen. The quality of the paint job, materials, bathrooms and just about everything was done sloppy. It’s sad because of the price we paid for the home. Then the gate at the entrance has been broken for months now.

The built process started ok, the foundation was laid without letting me know, so by the time I learned about it, it was already laid so I missed the opportunity to see the first step. Then the whole process went as offered time wise but the materials and the workmanship has been poor, walls crooked and with lots of paint drippings and scratches, finishes with multiple problems, the cabinets in all kitchen and bathrooms of really poor quality and workmanship, crooked or scratched. Quite professional before the sales after sale remains a big disappointment

Do not close until all issues are resolved. We experienced a clogged sewer line from a worker's rag one week after moving in. Our AC is not working properly in June in Texas 1 month after closing. Punch list items are ignored, you'll need to handle them yourself.

Gorgeous neighborhood. Nice and quiet. Good sales staff. I kind of felt like I was being scammed by the mortgage company. The construction guy was a moron; he did not finished the final walk through list before closing. The majority of items are still unresolved a month later.

Great experience expect our construction builder

We were treated great by the sales agent, the design center and even the title company. We felt our construction builder, Al, was subpar as he did not catch a lot of simple things that were not right. He had a bad attitude anytime I tried to talk to him and he did not return an email until after we moved into our house. It’s very obvious to me now that when you buy a house you are paying for the construction builder and his or her desire to perfect your house. In this case we don’t feel like we got a perfected house but only a barely above par house.

Not thrilled with everything for the price. One coat of paint on all the walls. Giant knot holes in wood of basement steps. Carpet racks poking through carpet. Construction seems very rushed. Not what I thought was going to get for the hefty price tag.

Terrible workmanship throughout the house. Undone caulking and painting. The garage walls dont match because the field was too lazy or cheap to have the subs redo one side after they cut it about two inches short. Backyard door does not close smoothly. Broken pipes outside my home. Front door and garage door frames were not smoothed out where screws were used to install them. The foundation has rust leaking out the side from exposed rebar. There's a crack as well. Missing two sprinklers that are on my plans but were never installed. I'm very disappointed in the shotty work the field manager ...

Our brand new house... where do I begin. Upon moving in our water heater did not work. It took two service trips. The people on the Pulte service line seemed uncaring and indifferent. Also our new microwave/oven combo went out the first week. It wouldn’t turn off so it was a danger to us. We had to turn off the breaker. (Which was mislabeled). So the HVAC unit was REALLY attached to the breaker labeled “OVEN”. So in our first two weeks we had no hot water, no ability to cook food and no AC for a night where it was over 80 degrees in our house. In a 300,000 house. The only saving grace to ...

Pulte homes are nice homes but leave a lot to be desired. Sub contractors are sloppy and problems are not corrected prior to settlement. Project manager was not responsive to problems.
