Great experience with Pulte at Briarwood Reserve to date

Before purchase, we paid for a professional inspector to do a full inspection on our home and they only found two minor issues that were easily resolved before closing. We've lived here just over two months and have had no problems. One issue (not a problem) needed to be addressed and the construction manager, Charlie, took care of it quickly. If we did have an actual problem, I feel confident Pulte would take care of it in a timely manner. The extended warranties available to Pulte homeowners on the appliances is a nice plus.

Enjoying my new home

The house is well built. Many big closets. The two Pantries in the Kitchen are great. We have over a moth, found no major problems. The two small things were corrected very fast. We do miss the built in Shower seat in our old house.

Sweetwater Hills Medina build review.

Was willing to pay for additional upgrades but not available. Not a fan of having to pick a package for trim. Interior paint job, and application = poor Front door frame/door not aligned properly. Sunlight, wind can be seen coming through seal. Settling occurred in the first week with 12” crack developing over patio door installation on interior wall. 3’ crack also on back patio cement porch. Upgraded kitchen hood not installed properly with water seeping in when raining. Looks like aftermarket job.

Disappointed home owner!!!

The sales rep was great. We got what we asked for. The appliances for what we paid were abysmal. We could not opt out on the purchase of the stove that was provided. The dishwasher was of poor quality. The handle fell off in 6 weeks. The quality that Pulte claims to provide is not what we received.

Disappointed with the quality. Omission of fixtures like towel bars, toilet paper holder, garage unpainted. Up graded kitchen but still not high end appliances. Master shower head is so high we can't reach without a ladder ( Michael Jordan doesn't live here). Garage is so small it is hard to get 2 medium sized cars in it. Many of our scrubs are dead. Drainage issues (working on). Lots are really small for this price house. Vinal siding is low grade ( rattles when the wind blows).

We had some issues with the sales folks. They were NOT up to date on the features. The big problem turned out to be the fireplace. It is more decorative than functional. I found a neighbor who has one took the plate glass off the front of his so heat could better enter the room. It melted some of the siding where the vent went out the rear of the house. Got to hot. I told the agent I loved gas fireplaces as they throw off a lot of heat. The sales person did not know about this failure in the fireplace. I would not have had one if I knew this about it.

Poor communication

Very poor communication and response from Pulte. Very difficult to contact anyone. Heating issues 3 weeks in a row within 1 month of purchase. Disconnect between HOA management firm and sales team with Pulte. Luckily the closing attorney office is helping with things since communication is poor from Pulte.
