Slow responsive with issues

Overall we like the lay out and lot of the house. Craftsmanship of drywall, paint and ceiling is poor. Responsiveness is poor after closing. Lots of promises but slow response, if any, with follow through.

Supervisor must have been asleep at the wheel

So many oversights during construction. Supervisor (Dom) made promises that never happened, lied about carpet pad being replaced after a second plumbing leak. He said he inspected the plumbing after each time the master tub was installed (4 times)Two days after our walk through none of the work on our punch-list was done and then all the blue tape that was used to mark deficiencies was taken down without any of the work being done. Made what should have been a happy time for us beyond stressful. Josh and Tony seemed to be the only people that cared about us and the quality of work but they ...

It is difficult to chase down remedies and repairs

Often they don't show up, or can't tell they fixed anything - the sub contractors really should leave a business card so we at least know they showed. So far taking weeks to secure repairs, takes a week to schedule, then realize they don't show, then need to follow with Pulte, send another request, and repeat cycle. Frustrating

We have been in our house for 6 weeks. The craftsmanship is not great and we can see some corners have been cut to get these house completed faster. Our major concern is the lot and grass. I have already called and requested part of my lawn be replaced since the grass never took and is now dead. We argued about the slope in the back and said it would be a problem and it is. They refused to address this issue and ignored my concerns. The carpet is not great and we paid for upgraded material but feel it is still sub par. The sales person did not provide all details of upgrades available ...

Lacks quality and precision; cheaply built with countless flaws

Pulte lacks craftsmanship when it comes to being a national builder, possibly due to outsourcing the various build jobs to cheaper unknown contrators without proper quality checks in place. To be more specific, the drywall and brick work was noticeably degraded and imprecise. Drywalls were crooked, lumpy and off by few inches around every wall, post, pillar, ceiling and window area. Bricks were misaligned and chipped all over. Pulte windows seem to be of the cheapest quality. Others areas of the construction were acceptable. The upgrade options are heavily overpriced, almost 2-3 folds, when ...

As I moved into my home I found a lot of things that I am not pleased with... like water damage to one of my doors, the toilet paper wall mounts too close together... uneven walls... drywall issues... rust stains in my tub.... and the fact that the place was not cleaned before I moved in... I have to mop, clean cabinets, bathrooms, the whole house before I could move my stuff in...

The beginning of the building process was ideal. The flexibility, communication and friendliness was stellar when picking a lot, model, and floor plan. Once we gave the initial deposit, the flexibility and communication became less. However, we were still able to adjust meeting times and reassured that we would have a quality team to build our home. We are happy with the overall build but the attention to detail was lacking. Many things were pointed out during the walkthrough before closing and we were assured these things we would taken care of. Some were and some still have not. After ...

Timely delivered but not happy with the quality of the material and lot of hidden things that weren’t explained during booking of home. On top of that, if we need to avail any service from the vendor, their charge is too high. Somehow I feel I paid much more and received the low quality home.

Do not like front end garage, gives home a tacky look. Mail boxes should be in front of homes. Not in central location like a apartment complex. Some of us seniors may be able to walk to mailboxes or do not to get in cars to get mail.

Made a list of repairs with Builders during walk through 2 months ago which they promised to fix but have only fixed one MINOR issue. There is very little communication. Once you close with Pulte, they forget all about you. The warranty department is no better. They set up appointments and when service arrives, the repair man doesnt repair the issue that the appointment was for.

Lots of punch list and pick up items were not completed prior to closing and now after closing post 6 weeks they are still not even started. The design center should have had better pricing for the consumer to compare and contrast, and should have had more options. The side yard set backs are terrible and need to enhance the community property better.

sales office was great in dealing with them. The problem is with the closing crew and not following up on customer request or even returning phone calls, text messages, etc. If pulte values their customers they should hire more people to handle the job requirements or hire personnel that do not ignore your phone calls.

Experience with Pulte is pretty average. Some building materials feel cheap in comparison to our previous build. Obvious lack of craftsmanship and attention to detail by many of their vendors. Issues have been, or are being addressed, but they definitely drag their feet and some repairs were not completed as they should have been due to procrastination.

A week into moving into our new home I discovered a leak in my front window which has pieces of drywall falling as well as water marks on the wall underneath. Days later I had a new leak in my roof which came through my master bath as well as my kitchen ceiling. I have been reaching out to the warranty company for 3 1/2 weeks now to get my “roof inspection report” and get my home fixed. In addition, I am still waiting for repairs from pre closing to be completed and I continue to watch my sod die. I love my home but these past 6 weeks have been extremely frustrating.

Pulte Homes - We’re having to deal with issues that took several years to develop

We’re having to deal with issues that took several years to develop in our previous home, here in a couple months of living here. A prime example is stress cracks in the drywall near door openings. Also have a seal that’s come loose on the glass shower door which we NEVER had happen on our glass doors in our previous home. Also trim pieces in and outside the home not cut correctly and caulking cracking inside the home. Some of these issues have been addressed but not others. We have a bedroom door which won’t latch and I was expecting someone Friday, August 23, to fix it. A repair order had ...

No builder is going to give you a "perfect" experience. Pulte did a good job, but plenty of room for improvement. Construction-wise there are a LOT of small touches missed that collectively take away. Many of these things wouldn't really even cost anything except a few extra minutes of care (something that used to be called pride of workmanship which sadly is a lost art in our society). I will say that compared to DR Horton homes nearby, Pulte is head & shoulders above. Quite honestly, just that little bit extra customer service and care in the construction process would have been 5 ...

At our final walkthrough, we were told to watch for any issues that may need to be addressed within the first week after closing. We kept a list after moving in and reached out to the job site manager on day 6 to go over the needed repairs. He told us that he would have everything scheduled or repaired within 2 weeks. We have now been in our home for nearly 2 months and the only issue that has been partially addressed is the touch-ups on our cabinets. We still have nails on our roof, paint on our windows, cabinets that don't close properly, cracked hardwood floor boards, torn screens, etc. ...
