My Lennar home made a new home purchase easy as everything is included, so you are not chasing little details and add on that cost additional dollars.....(included window treatments, appliances, flooring, tile, smart home features) The construction was on time, they provide regular weekly updates, and present the home with a detailed walk through. They have been good to their word and fixed any minor flaws that were identified and any issues I have found after they quickly addressed. Decent builder with great customer service. The Sales person, Robbie is superb. Issues with workmanship and commissioning. AC was not hooked up. Discovered it when it got warmer. Should never have accepted the unit from the sub.

For some minor issues, the General Contractor has been extremely responsive and quick to resolve. There are options that should be offered to decrease the cost of adding after the home is built. The six design items we wish that could have been completed during the build. 1. Insulated garage 2. laundry room sink 3. return line for tankless hot water. 4 Gas line to back yard for barbecue 5. power line to back yard for hot tub 6. outdoor water faucet accessible from front side of house. Very nice home the problem my family had was after they were done building they left a slope of dirt and an uneven backyard so we have to pay to get the whole backyard leveled they failed to say that we wouldn’t have a backyard and that it’s an additional $3,000 to level it that is the cheapest we have found. So just keep that in mind.

Now with Lennar they want to sell you the house so once you have all the credentials 99.9 percent of the time you will get the house plus they will work with you to get it. My sales representative I give a big shout to him in the wv division he is the best. Going to know my son after him. It’s my first time buying a house so I learned as I go now looking back I don’t know why i was so stressed. The annoying part is giving the same information over and over again. Overall, my homebuying experience with Lennar was great. The entire process is very systematic; the portal for buying and underwriting made it easy to track progress every step of the way. Christina was especially wonderful and provided excellent help throughout the underwriting paperwork process. Additionally, the maintenance team has been fantastic. From start to finish, it was a frustrating process. Underwriting was extremely poor asking for docs that should not have been needed, especially based on my time on my W2 job and my extremely high credit score. The workmanship was subpar. The roof was deemed poor and in need of being replaced by the home inspection done prior to close. Roof still hasn’t been replaced but there were MANY shingles that had to be replaced/secured due to heavy wind storms last month. Overall they still provide good value for the price. Our cable company discovered our house has not been wired with coaxial cable at all yet there are Ethernet data ports in the master and LR. Turns out those were never hooked up either and we were directed to put in a ticket. There are always miscellaneous chips and knicks and such so that’s all to be expected. The coaxial issue is major since the cable company had to drill right through our house to wire it and then run cable along a closet baseboard to the AV panel. Absurd.

I truly love the house that I have purchased and am working on settling in. When it comes to sales and, follow up Trey E. did an amazing job of going the extra mile to make sure all was taken care of. He showed up at closing which I found to be personable and professional. Very good overall with just a couple of concerns. There was a large dead tree that Lennar planted in our back yard. Before closing I asked for that tree to be examined and straitened. When we moved in I found that I had to straiten up the tree myself but also noticed that the tree still had no leaves. I opened a service request with the HOA but was told that the tree was dormant. The tree is dead and the branches snap off.

They build a great home but when it comes to finish work that tells everything it should be done perfect but the painters are sloppy and miss lot stuff and the people that put all hardware on doors and cabinets do not predrill wholes just run screws in which cause the stuff to crack and screw not hold I’ve done had to fix couple my cabinet doors cause when I opened them it just dropped cause the screw did not catch

I like my townhome very much. I feel like the checklist before closing was done quickly and issues were band-aided instead of fixed correctly. I think some of the minor finishes could have been upgraded (faucets, toilet lids, towel holders…all very inexpensive). I also don’t think the house was cleaned before I moved in. Overall, though, I really like it!
