I could not be more discusted with the entire process. NEVER use Lennar Mortgage, they only complicated the lending process and make it harder. The construction is definitely subpar, 3 electrical issues that are 100% the same but they can't seem to solve the problem any longer then temporary, paint on the walls could but have been applied any thinner, door knobs and strike plates coming off after 2 months, cracked concrete driveway before we moved in and The stupidity of the construction manager looks at me and says there's no problem. From the moment I signed and gave my deposit for my home I felt that it was one of the last lines of communication with Lennar without pulling teeth. The only time I received a call back was when they sent me a review. After moving in and doing a virtual tour It took over a month for anyone to respond after having to reach out yet again. Prior to close discovered chip in granite! Summer was to handle this Monday morning after close- no one showed up no follow through- QR code done and requested by Haley no response. The overall purchase experience from reserving to closing could have been better. We find different folks from sales support to loan, there always been some errors or omissions. After closing, we did a walkthrough the home, and we immediately find out when we standing in the kitchen, the floor bounces when the garage fire door closes. Quality issues with almost everything. No transparency from the construction manager and overall no good communication. Lennar’s standard is much lower than it should be and even though the work is done it is not quality. Anywhere they can they are trying to cut corners to save money and try and just do “good enough” work. Even though their work is clearly sub-par. Yes our house is completed and yes we are happy in our home but Lennar’s quality control is lacking, their honesty and transparency is sub-par at best.

This was our 4th new house and the worst one. Caked on mud on the light colored carpet. Microwave came with someones else’s cooked on cheese. Just gross! Air conditioner had no breaker hooked up. Garbage everywhere. Not what we expected from a new home.

We moved forward with purchase, despite reading some of the previous reviews and homeowner issues. We submitted 6 warranty claims within 1 month of living in the home, which was not the issue as I anticipated "some" minor issues, however they were all a result of poor craftsman ship, what appears to be a rush to complete/ close and move on, and lack of attention to detail. Lots of repairs needed before and after closing and it took long time to respond to or repair. Flooring installation is poorly made and the front door peephole is made to accommodate a 6+ foot tall person to see from. When asked yo lower for safety was told NO can do.

If there were a no star available for some categories, I would have put zero stars. On paper, an inspection was done but the mistakes missed during the “inspection” indicate nothing short of negligence. After two months, I am still dealing with Lennar mistakes and losing days waiting for workers who either don’t show or don’t complete the job. The lack of communication between Lennar and contractors only adds to the problems. Just today a worker was supposed to show and here I sit. The sales person was terrific and helped with the buying process. The closing was delayed by Lennar. The condition and cleanliness of my new home was poor. Empty bottles inside and out, paint job was awful. Paint everywhere with spots missed on the walls. There was paint on mirrors, on carpet, tile floors, cabinets, shower doors. No hot water, broken cabinets and fence behind the house is crooked and we lost footage. Lennar could have done better for the price we paid.

If I could put zero stars for Responsive to issues, I would. My actual home buying experience with the salesman was excellent. His name is Mitch. Great guy and he was always there to answer questions. If he did not know an answer, he would find it for me by the next day. There were many issues to be addressed with the home before closing. This home buying experience has been a total nightmare. Everything from poor workmanship to electrical, plumbing, door issues, etc. We closed 2 months ago and still have multiple issues that have not been taken care of. In addition, we found out after we closed on our house that Lennar does not include screen doors on the patio doors! We purchase them from C&C window for $720.00. This is my second experience with Lennar, first house had good quality in almost everything; the new house had a lot of issues and now is really difficult to get them fixed. I only got help from one person (Mr Lee). Also the way that they does the closing is annoying, my realtor had to get paperwork through the title company after almost two months because they never gave me a copy.

the floors of the interior of the house unevenly and noisy when walking like squealing wood, doors without finish, the handrails of the stairs without fine finish, rather scratchy and unpolished or varnished, sliding doors that get stuck because of the poorly installed, and worst of all is that to attend a claim, The owner has to accept the time and days so that they go do the work that should be done before selling the house, and even so they go and leave the work unfinished.

I signed the contract thinking they would fix broken windows, doors, uneven fixtures since first walkthrough. Four months later still waiting, they fix some floor issues, drywall issues and now water is coming from the ceiling. Very dissatisfied!

Pay the extra 50-100k for better workmanship, materials, and construction management with a different builder. Everywhere we look my wife, myself, and guest see examples of poor craftmanship. I don't know who was overseeing the quality of this build but they need training. The standard was set low. I have and will continue to share this sentiment with anyone who asks about the home

My experience began with a very energetic salesperson and loan processor who worked to get my home under contract. My experience went downhill from the time I did the final walkthrough, closing, and moving into a home that has lots of poor workmanship and materials.
