We have been in our home for 4 months. The first three were a nightmare. We had many issues and it was not acceptable. We had our spigot in the garage fixed 4x bc it leaks, and shot out of the wall and flooded our garage, the master shower flooring was not installed good and couldn’t use it the first month bc they had to keep adding foam and it still squeaks. Our mater toilet was leaking and called the emergency number and told it’s not a emergency and to shut water off and they’ll come tomorrow. The smoke detector goes off 10+ Times while you cook. The flooring in the master and hallway squeak so they had to cut a big hole out of the floor to replace and sand the hallway wood. As they were doing that, there were marks on the wood stating it needed to be fixed but instead they just threw the carpet down. The paint job in here is horrible. We had paint splotches all over our flooring and paint chipped everywhere. I would HIGHLY recommend checking your home over very carefully before you sign. The overall quality of the workmanship and warranty repairs are a joke. Dealing with the constant repairs and all too familiar "no call no shows" are a full time job. I've lost count of the number of repair tickets I submitted and I've burned through all of my vacation time rescheduling appointments because it is almost guaranteed that there's going to be a no show. I regret this purchase and I will never purchase another Lennar.

The people were nice enough… but had many issues with quality of the work performed. Many challenges trying to get the issues fixed/resolved. Installed faulty wiring so my internet has. It worked properly since I moved in and I work from home to imperative it be working properly. No help from Lennar… they put it off on other and tell me I need to contact warranty to fix… dishwasher, washer machine, Wifi all not working. Took a very long time for some resolution. Been in house almost 3 months and believe internet was worked on/off for a total of 2 weeks.

I would like them to repair the issues with my home

Need more quality material and proper finishing. Lots of gaps in back yard fencing where manager trying his best to resolve. But should taken care initially itself. 1. Window are not sound proof at least there are should stop small sound from out side. 2. Wood finishing is very cheap and work is not upto mark. 3. No proper updates on plans and schedule on pending work to be completed. 4. Lennar should have provided small change options in interior which make more difference from customer point of view. 5 . Quality of Steps to unfinished basement id worst when compared to other builders. Lennar needs lots improvement in quality and process and communication with home owners. ... More

E for everything is not necessarily a good thing.

Everything went smooth until after closing. I moved in with broken windows and a promise they would be replaced. 4 months later I’m still waiting for them to be replaced. The lack of communication is ridiculous. I called the “customer service rep” and he didn’t even have the decency to call me back. His response to my phone call was to just copy me on an email to someone else . Didn’t even waste his time sending me an email directly addressing my issues/ questions.

Very disappointed. Lennar reputation proceeds them.

Salesman Chad Bush. Great Quality of workmanship. Dreadful. I already submitted a review and heard nothing. I have already requested solutions to no end. Waste of time doing this I’m sure

The homes are built too quickly. After moving in you have to continuously call the service center for repairs which makes no sense since this is a newly built home. I am out of $450 because a pipe broke out in front of my house, the city came out and deemed it was my responsibility to fix and they turned my water off. Leak was caused by a piece of concrete that was sitting on the water pipe that caused a crack in it. Well I called their service to submit a request a repair, and the customer service representing acted as if she didn’t know what I was trying to explain to her, I got frustrated, hung up and went on home advisor and found a plumber. Now im trying to get reimbursement from lennar for the money that I spent and I am being told that “you may not get reimbursed because you didn’t go through us”. A water leak that caused my water to be completely shut off is an emergency, no one has time to be playing with your customer service representatives and waiting x amount of days for a contractor that they hire to come out. There’s many times that I’ve submitted service request and the contractors they hire either do not call me to schedule an appointment, they’ll schedule an appointment and just don’t show up. This is extremely frustrating as a new home owner. 2 months after closing and already have water leak. Take your time when building these homes, Rome wasn’t built in one day and that should apply for these homes too. Lennar homes are priced expensive so there should be no reason why the cheapest paint should be used through the home, the front doors are put on incorrectly where as the hinges are on the outside and if anyone decides to break into your home they can do so easily because all they have to do is unscrew the hinges off the door from the outside. The paint on the concrete is chipping from the heavy amount of rain that we’ve been getting because it was the cheapest paint used. ... More

That lennar doesn’t follow thru on issues. Lennar has been procrastinating on a leak in my garage for well over a month. The pavers have been removed from the side of my garage. How can it take so long to fix a leak. There is now a tropical storm coming. I’m concerned about flooding and possible damage to the slab.

finishing of corner areas and fine points sub-standard. shower had to be re-caulked after a few months. bath tub is noticably not square. i measured it 1/2" off. the dividing wall between shower and tub is also crooked. noticable gaps between floor and bathroom cabinets. House was not cleaned prior to move-in. Window holes are also not cut square. Just waiting for something major to break as AC units, washing machines, and crown moldings issues are already happening in other homes in the neighborhood. Side yard sod was destroyed during the installation of the next door house. Someone threw down some sod, but it's not as nice as before. Garage door had a dent that was never addressed even though I contacted our "guy." Too many to write. ... More

I purchased Lennar’s most prestigious home available in Babcock National. I got the same refrigerator and countertops that are in the condos that cost 1/3 of what my home cost. My upgraded cabinets have to be replaced because of a manufacturing defect. Quality of workmanship is extremely low because the contractors have to rush through every home. Think twice before buying from Lennar.

I honestly purchased the home due to the location but was not happy and am still not happy with all the active repairs having to be completed due to negligence on the builders part. It honestly feels like they just slapped my home together.

Build quality is not good and finishing is not good as well.

Let’s start off with the good. Jennifer in the sales team, was great to work with. Everything else has not been a good experience. The craftsmanship of the house is not of the quality you would expect from Lennar or any home builder. There are so many issues with the home. Once we submit a ticket the team try and take the easy way out of fixing the problem and then it looks worse than it did originally. The team have to fix it numerous times and it fix is not of the quality you would want for a brand new home. Another issue is the lack of responsiveness to getting open tickets done. We have opened tickets do to poor craftsmanship and sometimes they will close them without fixing them. I would not recommend Lennar as a home builder. ... More

I bought a new home from Lennar at Sendero in Sparks NV and I have had nothing but problems since the house was in the construction phase. I noticed some of the work done was below standards and I addressed it with the superintendent of the job-site which got most of the issues resolved. When we did our walkthrough we spotted several issues with paint scratches and broken tiles but the customer service representative Ron would say “oh we’ll take care of that” and not mark it in the list of issues, now 5 months living in this house there is still issues that need to be fixed and I called the Lennar warranty center because Ron won’t return my calls or address the issues and they say they cannot fix what is not on the initial walkthrough because it could have happened after move in, but since Ron didn’t mark the issues in the list I have not proof that we pointed those issues out. This is our first brand new home and the second home we owned. It’s been 5 months dealing with this, the baseboard for the downstairs bathroom was removed about a month in and it’s been like that since, the air vents for the air conditioning rattle at night and will not let us fall asleep, the the paint on the garage door is really uneven, the plumbing makes a whining sound when you close the faucet and other issues. We sold our previous home because it was getting old and we didn’t want to deal with repairs and issues but little did we know we were about to walk into a headache of issues and repairs. It’s not all bad I think Lennar uses quality materials and builds a really nice house but their customer service addressing warranty is horrible to deal with. ... More

The home seems well overpriced for the poor quality of materials used, especially the flooring. The houses are built MUCH too close together, and my backyard has a very steep decline that makes much of the yard unusable.

Subcontractors never get back to you when you need answers to questions about what was done on the house for example the irrigation system was put in at the beginning of the build I have no idea where the heads are I have no idea what type of system they're using and when I try to get information nobody bothers to call me back secondly when you asked first things from the DC after your house is closed he never gets back to you or he tells you he will get in but he never does trying to get information about the build of this house is like pulling

We had so many repairs around the house that has taken so long to get it done. We have been in this repairs issues for almost three months now

The communication is horrible. After I bought my home Nate never responded to a question I had I guess all he cared about was his initial review. Paint is chipping left and right, paint all over our deck, our island is not straight, the granite is not sealed so stains have already happened, things weren’t painted trim wise on the outside of the home. Blue tape left in spots that were supposed to be fixed. Garage remotes stolen at close, everything was very cheaply done and terrible workmanship. There is an excuse for everything and am immediate defense when you ask/question things. Not happy and would never use Lennar again or recommend. I was promised warranty work on my house and they even dropped off the materials. While the house next to me was getting constructed they got stucco on my house and they didn’t fix it. Greg the Knowologest was amazing. He got everything fixed for me and called me the next day. The new knowologest took over and is horrible. Before Greg let he said the GC would fix the paint and the GC never did. No the new knowologest said he not going to fix it. While buying the house the waiting until the last day to say they needed documents to close. They have 3 weeks and waited until the last day. The loan officer was very nice through the process. ... Quality control is poor. Workmanship is not good. Needs a lot of repairs and very sloppy work. Warranty specialist not doing great at following up.

This is my third new home built. This is by far the worst one. The walls are very uneven the painters are of poor quality. Several things need to be fixed. Not sure if I would recommend lennar

Repairs not taken care of as promised
