Our experience with Shea was wonderful. All the people we came in contact with were very professional and knew their jobs. From construction to design Shea was there for us. This is our third house build (our first Shea build) and our best experience to date. We've built in Austin, TX, Huntington Beach, CA and now here, in the desert. We are used to working with builders and dealing with unexpected delays, materials that are out of stock, water/power not ready to be set up yet and various other challenging situations. The way that the entire Shea team dealt with us during these unexpected and unwanted moments is what stands out the most compared to other builds. Your entire team’s professionalism, personal touch, willingness to listen to us and hear us vent. and going out of their way to try to correct problems that were sometimes out of both of our controls, made this experience the best. A special call out to the following individuals that stood out and went above and beyond during this process – Lisa our sales associate who from our first visit spent the time to get to know us, learned what we liked, didn’t like, and guided us in the direction that she knew would make us happy as we built our next home. Even after the sales process and when we had already moved into our new home, she included us in a mixer at the club so that we could meet new neighbors. It was a nice gesture, very much appreciated and yes, she knows us! Ryan our builder who under promised and completely over delivered. He came through each time we had a concern about something, regardless of how small, and made sure we got the home we spec’d out. Richard our warranty guy who spent hours going through the details of the home and answering our smallest questions making sure we were going to be ready when he handed over the keys. Debbie our design specialist who helped us duplicate and mirror your model home and helped us pick the materials that make our home standout. A callout to the cabinet guy that came and fixed our kitchen cabinet that I accidently scratched during our move-in day. He came out of nowhere after Richard called him and fixed my mistake. I wish I remembered his name. We will absolutely recommend a Shea home to our family, friends and whoever wants to listen. ... More

The Shea Team! Isaac, Cody, Brian, Josh, Bernedette, June, Jinny, from the initial visit to the office through the complete moving the Shea team is the best. Isaac particular attends to many matters. Despite his very busy schedule he goes way over the call of duty is to help us. Having purchased new houses from two other nationwide builders, Shea homes is the best and they try to please the clients very well. The quality for building material and the workmanship gets five stars. We ordered options which are way beyond normal! First time became Shea homeowner. Super impressive with Shea sale’s team, whatever questions I had, the team always responded in a timely manner, surprisingly often received answers immediately even after their working hours. I had purchased multiple new construction homes with different builders, including renowned one. However, I rated Shea the best, from sale’s team, construction quality, etc. Definitely Shea gained my trust. I have already spread my words about Shea to my friends. It truly deserves super five stars in my mind!

I had a very positive experience with Shea Homes starting with Owen, sales consultant. Alan, my construction manager, was always on top of things which was a real challenge with supply chain issues experienced because of the pandemic. And any remaining issues have been promptly addressed by Bill, my warranty specialist. I am very grateful to all who have helped me along the way.

We had such a great experience with Shea! We absolutely love our house. Our sales agent Kris was so helpful throughout the process! All of the people we interacted with were friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We were nervous building during Covid, but our house was only delayed a couple months and the quality seems great. Would highly recommend a Shea home.

What an amazing experience

The process of building a home can be very stressful and overwhelming but the folks at Shea homes made my experience very smooth. From the sales team (Catherine) to the construction team (Jorge), every single aspect of buying from Shea homes was great. Even after closing, the construction manager (Jorge) continues to check in with me on any issues or questions I have.

Loved working with such genuinely awesome people. Very lucky that we got our dream home from Shea. I work for an apartment builder and understand the frustrations in the industry, Shea is truly the best.

All the staffs are very nice and approachable, I do feel like the designer can be more communicative on the time window and options. We took our time to pick the color etc only to find out we have one chance to quote bc of time. The font of my house was also not completely painted, since the walkthrough come in from garage, I didnt see it during the walkthrough, but after I reported to the builder, they were able to resolve it without any issue. We built this home long distance and the experience was a pleasure from contract to closing. The entire Shea Homes team is so great. We first met the sales team, and they provided all the information we wanted to learn about the new development in the Dunes community. We had looked for new house development for a while in several other places and their introduction of the Beach House caught our interest right away. They have been very helpful during the purchasing process. They are very responsive and professional. During the house building process, we met the building team. They are very knowledgeable and professional. During the Frame Walk, they were very patient, showing us all the details of the house framework and answering our questions. At the time of final delivery phase, we met the warranty manager who is super nice, helpful, and professional. In addition to patiently and clearly explain all the details of the new house and warranty policy, he went above and beyond to help fix some small problems we found in the house and answer our questions with clarity and precision. We actually learned a lot from him. We really appreciated his responsiveness and patience as he has been very busy with so many houses closing at the same time. For example, one of our living room windows had a problem closing after a few days, we contacted him, and he immediately called the team for window installation and fixed the problem right away. We were also very impressed by the technical competence of the window installation team. They were able to quickly identify the problem and fix it in a few minutes.
