Overall we are mostly satisfied with the house. However, we felt like it was rushed as we approached escrow time. The process does take a long time but laying sod the day our escrow closed wasn't appealing. The wood for the backyard fence needed replacing in some parts. QAQC missed some rotting planks, but the warranty team was quick to repair that. Why couldn't the wood be treated/waterproofed as we have a part of the fence that is bending and nails that no longer play a part- especially if you're dropping over $540K. Although our salesman was new with Pulte he was fantastic!! He always made himself available and he is the sole reason my husband and I stuck it out with Pulte when things became rocky. Our first construction site manager refuse to ever meet with us then out of the blue he quit. The second site manager was 100% better and communicated with us weekly. There was a 60-day delay in the construction of our house. Delays happen with construction; however Pulte did an extremely poor job at communicating these delays. The virtual purchasing experience was quick and painless. It helped that the home consultant actually lives in the neighborhood and can give honest feedback about Pulte and the ins-and-outs of the new community. We liked the virtual design center appointment too as it was easier for us to narrow down on our picks and not spend on other things we would have seen if at the center in person. The build process was fast however even though we were told the house would be done by mid-November, this doesn’t mean the whole house, just that it was structurally sound. We had great success working with Ellen in sales and Peter as the PM. We are very happy with them and their attention to our concerns and questions. We continue to be frustrated with the paint, texture, tile, door, electrical, appliance, etc.. work the subcontractors completed too quickly and with poor effort and attention to simple detail.

The quality of the package for a Pulte home is well designed with value added bonus systems which make the package of a Pulte home a good buy. The onsite team here in Veramendi are above the bar in excellence and responsiveness.

Would have got 5 stars but my AC line wasn’t hooked up and leaked out into my walls and floor, doorbell didn’t work, oven was broken, melted parts in my dishwasher, grass was dead due to a covered up sprinkler head.

Pulte Homes has provided a pretty good product. Located in the Sendero project of Veramendi in New Braunfels, Tx, it is a very expensive product. Pulte's contact personnel have been excellent to deal with. My only real disappointment is the dead tree in the center of the front yard. I have submitted numerous updates as to its declining condition, both to Pulte, and to the landscape contractor. I think I still may have reason to hope I am not being stuck with a dead tree.

Felt like for the money that we spent, our house should have gotten a lot more attention to detail, workmanship, clean up of our home and yard area, before closing on our new home. Pulte has been good at fixing the major issues brought to their attention thus far. For that we are grateful.

The home is gorgeous. My wife and I are proud to call the home built by Pulte as our home. Trusting it was built with care consideration is in question. Material seems to be high quality but the workmanship is below average. We found areas that were not sealed, parts damaged such as shelves that were cleverly hidden, the trees died outside within a week of moving in, windows scratched with a knife (assuming to remove the plastic cover), and the list goes on. It could be better, follow up don’t happen when expected. Still waiting on follow up after closing 3 months ago. Paint quality is poor. Repainted immediately after moving in. Still finding little things that was not caught in walk through but now OUR responsibility although it is fixable.

During the home buying and building phase of the process, Ana and Trevor were outstanding. They provided timely updates and even answered my questions when they were not working. Unfortunately Pulte post build process and customer service as been sub-par. I’ve been in my home for just over 30 days and there are lots of issues. My water heater circuit breaker constantly trips even after the plumber and electrician have inspected it. On move in day, I couldn’t lock my front door. The floor in the upstairs hallway squeaks already. My AC unit won’t cool upstairs but downstairs it’s freezing. ...

The quality of work is poor. I have been waiting for a month the get cabinets doors replaced that were miss drilled when the handles were installed and they tried to fill the holes with caulk. One pantry door also broke the first day we moved in and we are still waiting on the to be replaced as well. We also had to have our main sewer line replaced due to a brick being dropped into it. The quality of work from the trades is poor at best.

The home buying experience was easy. The mortgage company was great and responsive. However, the work done on the house was very sloppy. You can tell the house was built by the lowest bidders. For example, there was paint splattered on the floor, cracked tile, towel holder was not anchored to the wall properly so as soon as we hung a towel it fell off the wall, caulking was not finished in some areas, and other minor details that you would normally not expect to deal with from a new house.

Sales personnel were great, we worked with Chris an had a good experience overall. The build of the actual house really showcased the lack of tradesman quality, a lot of poor quality materials are being used. Rushing out on these homes is causing a lot of simple things to be missed. Construction manager Matt was very helpful and responsive. Warranty department so far has been great.

Working with construction team and the finance team was over the top awesome. Very responsive and great people. Steve from construction, and Amber and Cassandra from Finance were just outstanding. As for sales rep, very bad communication with us along with not being truthful at all.

If we had to use Dayna, sales, again for anything we would not buy, build or even think of owning a home. Working with her was the worst experience for us. She continued to call my fiancé by my last name and Jose when that isn’t even his first name either. Matt, our builder, we would work with him on any home at any time. He was amazing and followed through every time and timely.
