I should have been able to have a 5-Star experience if only I wouldn't have found discrepancies such as sheetrock tape coming through the paint in my dining room, screws that won't go all the way into the hinges in the master bedroom, water spouts that terminate at my front door entrance, and bath tubs that flooded. The worst part is that after weeks of having reported this, only the tubs were fixed because the Plumbing contractor has been more responsive than Pulte. Recently i got a inventory house at Dallas. It is nicely built. only the worry part is, it does not provide clean or smooth finish on some of the stuff. Pulte claims they are not custom grade but production grade builder, so smooth finish will be missing in some edges etc.

The overall experience did take some time. Going with the builder lender did have its set backs as communication was a major issue. The overall build is good. Seem as if some things were rushed. Little things didn’t get picked up and we had to go back and fix them during the walk through and 30 day inspection. Neighborhood is greAt. Lincoln the builder is a good guy helped with lots of issues and fixed them all.

Overall, I had a good experience with Pulte. Our sales person was great to work with and more importantly, we love our new home! The floor plans are nice and it was the right house for us. My only advice, if you are building from scratch, is to make sure that you are involved in very step of the construction /build as much as you can. There were times that we caught some mistakes in the construction. We pointed these out and they were rectified, but my point being we caught them in time. Once you are close to the closing date it will be harder to get these corrected. Best of luck!

We moved into our new home in June 2019 in Garland, Texas. It's a nice neighborhood and is in a good location. The supportive staff has provided a quick response to issues so far. I would recommend Pulte who are in search of a new home.

Construction manager Keith is amazing! He was very responsive to my questions, very detailed in explanations and provided all the necessary paperwork

Quality of construction is good, but not great.. Old style of models, not contemporary. not much design upgrades/customizations available. Post handover warranty team is not much helpful. bit over priced for the product they deliver. Customer service is not great

Overall not bad but many things not completed and they said they would complete after closing. Still waiting on items to be finished. House was not properly cleaned and dusted prior to moving in.

My sales consultant, Ramsey was great. She went above and beyond to make our experience great. Austin, our construction manager was also GREAT! He was willing to do anything, including addressing issues personally, to make our home purchase a great experience. Both Ramsey and Austin deserve 5 stars. This was my second time going through a complete home build purchase and process with a large home builder company. Altogether, the finished product with Pulte was better, in my opinion, than D.R. Horton, especially the insulation, sealing, and some finish work. However, we encountered many issues after closing than I expected, particularly with the quality of finish work and plumbing, much of which was not apparent just prior to closing or could only be found after living there for a while. Our initial building meetings went fairly well. We did run into a few hiccups along the building process. The completion of the build was within the promised timeline. The construction manager was helpful our initial sales person made a few mistakes, causing our realtor to have to do a lot of back work for us. Once in the home, the overall craftsmanship is OK there are some things that were skimped and some things that were done very well. This is our first new build, and we’ve been in the home for a month, we will need more time to complete a more in-depth review.

Know that you will pretty much be told anything to get you to sign as well as pertinent information left out. Ask questions and get it in writing. Check every tiny thing BEFORE closing. We found paint ALL over our floors, cabinets split/uneven, etc. Go back and follow up on your pre-closing walk through BEFORE you sign at closing. We really had to push and then were told, "We don't always get every blue tape". Okay, what's the point then? Closing on time is certainly the priority vs a 100% satisfied customer. Just be observant and force the issue to get it done.
