We are happy with our new home.

Worksmanship can be iffy, but the builders will fix anything wrong/poorly done promptly.

I should have been able to have a 5-Star experience if only I wouldn't have found discrepancies such as sheetrock tape coming through the paint in my dining room, screws that won't go all the way into the hinges in the master bedroom, water spouts that terminate at my front door entrance, and bath tubs that flooded. The worst part is that after weeks of having reported this, only the tubs were fixed because the Plumbing contractor has been more responsive than Pulte. Extremely dissatisfying experience and very disappointing that Pulte has not taken interest in fixing these problems with the enthusiasm and sense of urgency that they showed when taking my money. ... Recently i got a inventory house at Dallas. It is nicely built. only the worry part is, it does not provide clean or smooth finish on some of the stuff. Pulte claims they are not custom grade but production grade builder, so smooth finish will be missing in some edges etc.

Would build with pulte again.

Purchase, closing and after care very professional and efficient.

The overall experience did take some time. Going with the builder lender did have its set backs as communication was a major issue. The overall build is good. Seem as if some things were rushed. Little things didn’t get picked up and we had to go back and fix them during the walk through and 30 day inspection. Neighborhood is greAt. Lincoln the builder is a good guy helped with lots of issues and fixed them all.

Responsiveness started off strong but got a little frustrating towards the end and after closing.

Overall, I had a good experience with Pulte. Our sales person was great to work with and more importantly, we love our new home! The floor plans are nice and it was the right house for us. My only advice, if you are building from scratch, is to make sure that you are involved in very step of the construction /build as much as you can. There were times that we caught some mistakes in the construction. We pointed these out and they were rectified, but my point being we caught them in time. Once you are close to the closing date it will be harder to get these corrected. Best of luck!

We moved into our new home in June 2019 in Garland, Texas. It's a nice neighborhood and is in a good location. The supportive staff has provided a quick response to issues so far. I would recommend Pulte who are in search of a new home.

Our house looks amazing at first glance, but we have noticed a lot of painting and workmanship issues. Mark has been very responsive to any repairs we have requested.

Pulte homes are a good value. The neighborhood is great, quiet and safe.

Overall quality is good. Service to fix warranty claims has been fast when needed.

Issues have been slow to get resolved post move in.

Construction manager Keith is amazing! He was very responsive to my questions, very detailed in explanations and provided all the necessary paperwork

Overpriced the on Quality of workmanship & materials

Quality of construction is good, but not great.. Old style of models, not contemporary. not much design upgrades/customizations available. Post handover warranty team is not much helpful. bit over priced for the product they deliver. Customer service is not great

Overall not bad but many things not completed and they said they would complete after closing. Still waiting on items to be finished. House was not properly cleaned and dusted prior to moving in.

Quality of the product and workmanship with the finishing need improvement … finding quality and more cosmetic issues …

1. The buying process was very smooth as the pulte sales person was responsive in timely manner and she did whatever she could to help me with my concerns. 2. Here it comes the journey of every homeowners that want to build their trust in the house as it’s building. With the same excitement, I was visiting the site every week getting to know the process as well as gaining confidence in the house with the quality of the work. As few months passed by, I started finding the construction manager was negligent and not doing his job in supervising and managing the quality of the construction and instead I was doing his job pointing out easily seen mistakes the labor had made. He would not hesitant lying in front of you and would not feel the shame after you proved him wrong. He would lie to you again just because he wants to get your signature on completion certificate and close the house on time. 3. Although I signed the completion certificate but I did not have confidence in the completion of the house. 4. But here the twist comes and I was able to gain the confidence in my house after closing because PulteHomes saw my feedback I provided at closing and the higher level manager reached out to me through a call and assigned me a lead manager to address my issues after I explained him what happened. Overall PulteHomes is great and so would recommend PulteHomes to my friends and relatives!!! Just don’t hesitate to explain your issues as I did not, even thought it was my first house ever!! ... My sales consultant, Ramsey was great. She went above and beyond to make our experience great. Austin, our construction manager was also GREAT! He was willing to do anything, including addressing issues personally, to make our home purchase a great experience. Both Ramsey and Austin deserve 5 stars. The Financing team was good and overall the service before the sell was good; however, the service after the sell needs some work. The after purchase team has yet to followup with me. I was told that my information would not be sold but I’ve had several solicitations from Non-purchase related vendors. Some have used the Pulte name and have used shiesty tactics that are not expected from reputable companies. I was assured that this would not happen but obviously that has NOT been the case. ... This was my second time going through a complete home build purchase and process with a large home builder company. Altogether, the finished product with Pulte was better, in my opinion, than D.R. Horton, especially the insulation, sealing, and some finish work. However, we encountered many issues after closing than I expected, particularly with the quality of finish work and plumbing, much of which was not apparent just prior to closing or could only be found after living there for a while. Drippy dried paint on most doors, some walls out of plumb, damaged and leaking washer machine connections (before the water cutoff switch!), toilet plumbing problems in the wall, kitchen cabinets or drawers damaged or not installed correctly, secondary bath mirror out of plumb, rain sensor on the irrigation system having a dead screen (and not warranted by the builder), missing or mismatched paint, damaged drywall, minor damage to doors or frames, loose trim, numerous carpet tacks poking up, bad rain water drainage from the construction lot next to us into our yard, and more. Pulte's warranty process is fairly robust, and they will generally work with you to find a solution, but no one wants what seems like dozens of contractor repair visits after you've moved in. If I did it again, I would probably try to find a higher end builder with better quality checks on plumbing and finish, but to be fair, Pulte will give you a good enough product. Just keep a very close eye on finish and try to think ahead about problems you may not otherwise see until you've moved in. The best fix would be for Pulte to keep a closer eye on the work of their subcontractors. ... More

Our initial building meetings went fairly well. We did run into a few hiccups along the building process. The completion of the build was within the promised timeline. The construction manager was helpful our initial sales person made a few mistakes, causing our realtor to have to do a lot of back work for us. Once in the home, the overall craftsmanship is OK there are some things that were skimped and some things that were done very well. This is our first new build, and we’ve been in the home for a month, we will need more time to complete a more in-depth review.

Know that you will pretty much be told anything to get you to sign as well as pertinent information left out. Ask questions and get it in writing. Check every tiny thing BEFORE closing. We found paint ALL over our floors, cabinets split/uneven, etc. Go back and follow up on your pre-closing walk through BEFORE you sign at closing. We really had to push and then were told, "We don't always get every blue tape". Okay, what's the point then? Closing on time is certainly the priority vs a 100% satisfied customer. Just be observant and force the issue to get it done.
