Atleast in my case, i don't think this is the right value for the price i paid. Firstly my house backyard is main road facing and there is no fence provided, typically it should have been provided. Secondly, I just requested for couple of extra bushes to be installed so we don't hear the noise from vehicles and there could be some privacy. My request was denied. Still there are bits and pieces left to fix, it feels sad that giant Pulte constructions is having this trouble fixing the issues requested for. After waiting over 14 months for our home, it was not up to what we expected. The cost was over a million dollars. I am happy to send photos of all the things we had to deal with when moving in and we are still dealing with. The contractors who worked on our home were subpar. It's almost embarrassing to show our family and friends. This was my second build with Pulte. I should of known.

Oak Hills, Pulte Homes, Michigan closed my Homes with several hidden issues

I am running behind the Pulte Warranty even after 40days of Home closing for issues fix in my Home. I had issues with 2 Bathrooms, improper ceiling which is making cool air enter into Home at some sections

Took too long, couldn't get out of contract, overpriced

Original closing date missed by 3 months, house still not finished when closed (window screens missing, trim paint not finished). Warranty is very slow to fix issues...waiting 2 months for homescreens. Had to pull credit 2 times because original closing date severely missed.

The good - Attentive and cooperative Sales team, decent project and construction managers, excellent team in lending department. The Bad - Really poor quality construction and craftsmanship. Too many issues with the house. Pulte outsources most of the construction to 3rd parties and they do a terrible job. Home inspector caught a lot of serious problems. You will notice cracks, crooked panes, windows, electrical outlets after moving in. Cabinet doors and drawers were not aligned. Cracks on crown moldings, glitchy windows, very poor finishing, uneven surfaces, weird floor cracking sounds, ...

A lot of things pasted inspection in my house and was not complete. My refrigerator is damage. I still don’t have my light fixtures. No head on my pipe out back. Door installed incorrectly and still not fixed. Touch up paint do not match on the outside. I really expected better.

Very backwards process. Pulte wants you to make a lot of decisions without giving thorough explanations or information. Make sure to get an independent home inspection. Neighborhood is nice though.

If the model home would have had the fit and finish and paint work that our home has, I would have never bought a Pulte Home. I would fire the painters and the finish carpenters on the spot. This is our 5th house and by far the worst fit and finished house. The bright spot is that Pulte has a good warranty department. Lisa has been wonderful to work with. We have already had several warranty claims and Lisa has had the workers to come out in a timely manner.

Not sure where to begin but the whole experience was very disappointing to say the least. This was our first time buying a home and we expected much more, especially for the cost of the home. From the very beginning communication was poor. We weren't informed that our home would be built in a different direction which may seem minimal, but makes a world of difference when the sun shines into the home. Would not recommend new build with Pulte or any large homebuilder for that matter

Giant homebuilders like Pulte are only motivated by increasing shareholder value. Even when they do not have the bandwidth to sustain the rate of construction while also maintaining a minimum level of quality in their builds, they continue anyway. From contract to closing, it took 10 months. We've been in the house 3 months and are still waiting on warranty items to be addressed. There is a staggering lack of attention to detail with regard to quality workmanship you would expect from a half a million dollar home. Buying a brand new home should have been so much more enjoyable than Pulte made it. We love our new home, but it didn't come without various issues and hiccups. I understand the pandemic has impacted global supply chains, but leaving customers to source their own appliances after signing was not a great experience. Constructions delays due to lack of framing crews also caused us to close at a mortgage rate double than what we budgeted, and delays also caused us to miss the deadline for sod before the winter season. Poor quality workmanship on high end group 4 kitchen cabinets. Very disappointed on wood work. You can notice many touchups and inconsistencies across the house. Caulk has cracks across. Today I noticed a major crack in the master bath vanity sink.

Be very careful when it comes to the Contract Details. Many Items are shown in the renderings you need to sign as part of your Contract and later in the Contract Paragraphs Details declared as optional not necessarily in your Home installed. Always per advantage PULTE.

Workmanship leaves a lot to be desired.

My experience has not been positive. The workers left behind lots of messes. They left black fingerprints everywhere. The plumbing was severely blocked. My toilets backed up into the tub, sink, etc. The plumbing had to be worked on twice. The tree in the front had to be replaced more than once. The garage paint is peeling since I moved in. The carpet has paint drops left by the workers in every room. The nails were sticking up and had to be fixed. Hoping For Better

This was our first new build and it hasn’t been the easiest experience. We have been in the house almost two months and we are still waiting for items to be fixed. For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected the house be to be perfect and the highest quality - something it has not been. I feel as if once the house was bought, we have been forgotten about. Our neighbors are complaining about many of the same items as we are. We had expected issues to be fixed prior to closing and the same items have yet to be completed. I hope that Pulte will in the end fix our issues soon.
