Lack of professional service from issues identified after move in. My major issue is with the sink that is not long enough and when washing hand or dishes excessive water gets on the counter. The advise given is that to pull the hose down with one hand and wash with the other. Incredible! How do I do that when I need both hands to wash hands and dishes! Terrible service. I asked for follow up from manager and was told “you do it”. Terrible!!!!

I understand in this economic climate there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" with subcontractors. A week before close you look at the house and think certainly it won't be ready. They then rush to close because they have to meet their month-end quotas. Two days before close we do a walkthrough ("Build Quality Celebration") and point out a lot of cosmetic, attention to detail issues. You then don't get another opportunity to inspect the house. I close and it turns out a number of walk-through items weren't completed, such as a missing outlet cover, trash in the garage, trim separating from the wall and doors not flush. After a week of no response after requesting "Customer Service," the initial response is these should have been addressed at walk-through, anything post-close is a "maintenance issue" and "wait a year for the house to settle." In addition to missed walk-through items, almost immediately I start discovering stuff like a wall of outlets not working (wiring issue), two doors not flush and lifting off their hinges, and a bathroom drawer collapsed because the back of the track was never secured to the cabinet. I'm told those aren't structural. But minor things really make you start to question major things. They blame the subs, say they use the same subs as other builders, say this is common to all new homes...yet these are all things that would have been caught if their construction supervisor had come in after the subs and inspected the work. It makes you question what quality assurance processes are in place. The starting place never seems to be resolution but the knee-jerk reaction seems to consistently be to throw the contract legalese back at you...which is effort that would be better directed in addressing the issue. Substandard materials used, poor Build quality Better look for other options than investing with Pulte homes Had to Close almost unfinished / sub standard home.

Limited communication, number of outstanding punch list items not resolved, 4 months after settlement and have not received permanent garage door

Quality control is an issue. Huge issue. No one is checking the work to make sure done correctly. No one is maintaining containing regarding weathered list. Wished I hadn’t of signed so bonuses were dispersed for those who do work hard. Response from maintenance issues 30 days out from closing...well...still haven’t heard back but website says will in 24-48 hours. It’s been almost 2 weeks now...that speaks for itself.

Quality is not great for the price . Need to work on quality and pricing . We found lot of issues and after sales they never look back to solve the issues.

This builder is all about craftsmanship, but is NOT, be aware of details and installation procedures.

After my family and I moved into our home, we noticed a long list of issues including a huge leak on the left side of our house that still has not be repaired. We have sent emails and called our project manager as requested and have not have the issues resolved.

It seems everything is to be blamed on Covid. But the simple fact is that they like all the builders want to be at the top, and they really could care less about what we want. The sales team was really nice and very knowledgeable with regards to their product. then we got to to work with their mortgage company who was spot on very helpful. Then it came to the building of the home. At one time we thought that the builder offered a good quality product. Our overall experience and confidence of this builder is really quite low not what we initially thought.. They continue to push back on 4 major issues we have in our NEW home (ie….cannot get materials, repairs to damaged countertop and more) I compare it to when buying a NEW car…there are 4 wheels and tires on a car and one wheel is damaged and too small, they fix it, but Pulte seems to think to think that the damage to the material has been repaired and try to tell me that it is with-in code. They have have such poor management of their homes and their trades as they have no one to oversee the work…again its not our fault that they have over committed and under delivered. What you see in the models (wrong cabinets for instance) is not what you are getting…no pride no workmanship. Really sad! ... More

Materials in the house are low grade quality. Limited ability to customize, no pride in craftsmanship re: the finishing work. Poor follow up re: problems. Have to track down management to get things accomplished. Would not recommend Pulte.

The materials used are cheap and the interior job overall is very sloppy. It hasn't been a full 2 months since moving in and there are already cracks everywhere around the windows and doors. The shower door also doesn't work and the tiles are cracking as well.

Pulte picks such inefficient products to put in these new and costly homes. Items such as the hot water tank, garbage disposal, a/c, etc - they’re an appropriate size for an apartment, not $400k+ homes. It’s obnoxious to spend so much money on a new home only to have to deal with “below grade” products after the fact. It’s like pulling the wool over buyers eyes, who would ever think that a new home wouldn’t get the products sufficient enough to run their home? The workmanship is also sub-par. All the contracted work is slapped up there with much care on the end product. There is so much paint that was carelessly shipped up on my new floors. It’s just all very disappointing. The project manager is liar Matthew. Was told if there any issues to contact him. These are issues he knew about prior to closing and now after he got a initial good review. His answers are call the warranty department. He lied about his abilities to get things done after closing could have been honest and said from the beginning to call the warranty department after today

Poor quality of workmanship & materials. Still trying to get open items fixed, and trying to get an issue sorted where the wrong shower door was put it.

Very disappointed. Far from model center finish. Far from it. I’ve built at least 5 house in the past. This being the top of the list of not being happy with the quality of workmanship. This is as I see it snd experienced it Sorry. Will not recommend PULTE to any of my affiliates

As a real estate agent who has worked with Many builders this was the worst build process and worst finished product I have ever sold. The contractors rushed through the work. The quality of the finish is DIY quality at best. My home that was 18 years old had better quality finishes in it than this brand new home. I’m scared to see what other issues will arise the longer we live in the home. It’s a shame the process and product were so horrible because we love the floor plan and our home.

Quality of build wasn’t great. All bottoms of doors were chipped and not fixed before closing. Forgot to caulk to kitchen counter and the bathroom sink didn’t have a vanity. This is just a few things amongst a lot of other finishing touches.

Good and beautiful property and zone

Pulte offered an amazing home design that was extremely functional for our family. Throughout the process we were told how Pulte goes above and beyond industry standards to ensure a high quality home is delivered. However, that was not the case. The building process with Pulte was awful. While our Field Manager was great, the quality of workmanship across was sub-par. We moved into our home with a long list of repairs still outstanding. As we move forward after the 1 month follow up, we find ourselves finding more things that need to reworked then before. Pulte is more set on getting these homes off their books then an delivering quality homes to their customers. Worst builder ever and lot of quality issues

Sales and Mortgage Teams were the most helpful, and without them I would have rated 1 star or less. My home was not even complete by closing date, that was over a month ago and I still don't even have my refrigerator. Too much to list, but wouldn't do this again.

11 months to build. Was told 8-9 months. The quality of the workmanship is horrible. Closed a month ago and still have outstanding items inside and outside that have not been provided or fixed as promised

The entry door to the unit has gaps. I have reported it several times and not received a response other than we are going to get another company to look at them. The gap is very annoying with light coming in. The paint that was used on the walls was cheap paint it marks easily and flakes. The secondary door from the outside slams shut and have been woken up many times. It was looked at but has not gotten any better. The size of the dogs was supposed to be no more than 10 pounds but there are some very big dogs in the building. The response from the HOA is minimal sometimes non-existent. ... More

After I moved in for a month the most feeling is disappointing. I have so much stress from this house. I have spent so much time cleaning this house when I moved in. They don't even clean it before I close this house. There are stains on the bathtub and shower that I still cannot remove. Every window is full of dust. The quality of this house is not ok. The paint on the wall easily falls off. The dishwasher is not working. The A/C has been fixed 4 times and the pipeline issues are still haven't fixed yet. The tile in the master bathroom is broken and is waiting to be fixed. Carpet work is very poor and waiting to be fixed. The work on my house is not what I expect, but according to the warranty group and builder, these are 'human work' so these are normal imperfections. I was gonna buy the house in Richmond but then I was referred by my relative - one of your current customers in the same community. She said Pulte is a good company with good customer service and good quality. But after I buy this house I so regret I did not buy the house in Richmond. Even though my cousin and I have the same floor plan I can see the difference in the work of the houses. The reason why people buying new houses is for fewer issues not like the house I bought. I keep dealing with the warranty group, builder, and the appliance company or A/C company to fix all the issues in my house. And I have to take my work off several days already to stay at home for fixing these issues. Obviously and eventually I will need to take more days off because the tiles and carpet and the A/C pipeline, and dishwasher issues all haven't been fixed yet. I would not recommend anyone to buy the house here since the quality of the house is not as good as it should be. So so so much headache. ... More
