My wooden floor needs repaired. A miniblind needs to be replaced. Two mirrors needs to be repaired. My kitchen vent flapper needs to be repaired/adjusted. My patio light needs to be repaired. A lot of repairs are needed. Again nice home but its a new home that needs repairs.

The builder was fine. The supply issues and finishing work of the contractors were very disappointing. Still trying to get things finished that were identified prior to closing

It is very difficult these days to judge a homebuilder due to material and labor shortages. The build took close to a month longer than anticipated which caused it's own issues. The labor issue and building materials were a bummer though. We hired an inspector to inspect the construction on two occasions and even he said that the materials and the workmanship we less than average. At this point we can only hope that the warranty process goes much better than expected and we can feel a bit more at peace with what we ended up spending a lot of money on.

Very difficult to get responses once the sale is closed. They don't call back!

Working with the sales team was excellent, great communication and response time, and hence why I chose to build with Pulte. The build started great and promised excellent communication throughout the build. (Did not appreciate that they assumed/always sent a translator; I was born and raised in the US so unnecessary). I visited nearly every week and was able to have major issues addressed during the build (ie cailing tray not installed or wrong accent tile). However, when it came to the celebration walk through, I was promised all details we agreed upon/labeled to have fixed would be addressed before the actual walkthrough/closing and they were not. I was told at the official walk through to go to closing and that items would be fixed and came back and they were not. I was promised that submitting to warranty I would get a response in 24 hours particularly right after build (obviously would take time the further out from closing) and it has not. The tile cuts are uneven on tiles, scratches and glue left on bathroom and floor tiles, the serial numbers on the bathroom tiles show past the grout, light switch panels left crooked, holes in the stucco and drywall, the HVAC unit was even a basic model when the top of the line unit was agreed on... Having paid quite a generous amount in upgrades, I expected top notch workmanship and attention to details. So very poorly managed and rushed so that we could close and promised the world it would be near perfect at closing but a lot left to be desired. Also, they have you make selections early on and penalize you if you change your mind later so know exactly what you want quickly and early on as per their deadline. Additionally, I was not told until closing that I could only use a hairdryer/flat iron/iron in the main bed/bathroom due to "code" and wattage maximums but I wish I would have been told that earlier since what happens when I have guests over and now have to have them move to the master bed/bathroom instead of their guest room? Very uninviting. My extended family is also building with Pulte since we started off great with Pulte but now they know to not close until all items are addressed as promised. So, overall, I would recommend their build, I would just highly recommend making sure it all looks to your order requests before closing. Obviously small details will remain after closing and warranty will work with you, at their ability, but the amount of gross deficits before closing is something you should look out for since they are difficult to get attention to later on. ... Having a tough time getting people to fix urgent issues such as a leaky roof. The service calls keep getting cancelled. Warranty means nothing if you can't service it.

Disappointed with follow up on punch list items not completed six weeks after the closing.

Very disappointing , not very Trustworthiness on repairs in a timely manner

Working with the Field Manager was great. I think the quality of workmanship is not so great. I feel the home was completed as quickly as possible. They did not take the time to do the trim work. Nail holes are sticking out or rough. Had to seal my own grout behind the stove and master shower. We were told they use good insulation, but the home has a chill to it. Overall we love the home and the layout is great.

Could have been better in the mortgage application. Need to communicate effectively re temporary use of range hood. Different brand as specified on the contract.

Disappointment with the quality of the work through the house. It looked rushed and sloppy. Have had a difficult time having them come out to complete the rest of the stuff that was not completed before closing.

If our lease wasn't up in our apartment we would not have signed to close. 2 months after the final walk through, we are still missing an electrical plate, we still have 1 wrong outlet in the laundry room that we need to plug in the freezer, a floor tile still has the color and brand printed on it, the bottom trim still has the color of the grout all over the trim and we still don't have the right thermostat in the house. I had such high hopes with the Pulte reputation.

We had a great experience. However, there are a lot of finishes overlooked or rushed. We haven’t been in the house 2 months and we already have along list of issues. There needs to be a person who only works with new home owners for the first few month after close. After close, the project lead is done and customer care isn’t super responsive.

Pulte is very responsive up until they get your money. Poor workmanship and terrible customer service after closing. They are not responsive to the needs of their buyers. Need to go over the house with a fine-tooth comb and demand everything, no matter how small be repaired.

Unfortunately when we closed we were promised that everything would be taken care of. Well that certainly was not the case. House was not cleaned, paint on floor , some areas not touched up before move in. Back door is installed wrong. Issue was addressed and then dropped. Requested a warranty issue and nothing was done about it. Very disappointing to say the least.

Craftsmanship is not up to par. After living in the home for a month I’ve noticed many dents, scratches and scuffs throughout appliance, walls, doors, knobs, and floor. Deformed door/wall moldings. I also cut my foot with sharp end of screws protruding through carpeting. A few unfinished details. Place-holder stove. Garage door and front door lock issues that prevented me from entering the home for two days post closing. And significantly loud drain pipe that echos throughout first floor. Disappointed with purchase price and quality.

The house buying experience in times of covid has been stressful, everything has been on a very delayed schedule, materials and equipment used have been faulty, requiring urgent attention from the time of moving. Adding to all this , the response from the support team is very poor.

Not a bad experience. Two things we have learned from this experience. 1. Check all options during de building process. Make sure the selection and material a correct, you have to see them in person. We chose to upgrade a zero-VOC paint. The field manager told us the paint is what we choose during the building process, but on the closing day, we found out that it is not the case, they used a different paint with the same color. You have to see the material in person to be sure, do not trust what they say in the email. 2. Make sure all issues are fixed before closing. We were told they will fix exterior issues we found in the inspection after 1 week of closing. But no one showed up after 1 month and the response becomes extremely slow. Shoddy workmanship. Tile is not level, molding around all the doors was cut too short and filled in with caulk. Some of the molding around kitchen island is unpainted. Missing grout in grout lines on floor. It looks like nobody cared about their workmanship.

You can definitely tell there is a labor shortage, as some of the work completed on our home could have been done better by us. We closed with some issues identified and documented for resolution, and over a month later, they are not resolved. With some of the materials and craftsmanship, we just can’t believe that’s what you get for the price paid.

Could have communicated with me at each stage of construction more

Everything was great during the sales process. Some quality issues in the workmanship were noticed as soon as we moved in and the responsiveness of Pulte has not been the best.
