The 2 things were touching up the baseboards & leveling the pavers on our patio as promised in our initial walk through. Baseboards are still not done & the supervisor of the pavers looked @ the patio & stated it was so everything had to be re-done. They came out removed all the pavers then replaced them back the exact same way. A J at this time has told the work is acceptable even though it just as bad as it was to start with....not with Pulte Homes

We have some issues before closing and after closing. Send numerous emails. Not getting good response. They said I need to mention my issues before closing and some said I can email them after closing. Still few issues are there out. Looks like no one is

Pulte sales team was great and got us set up fast and efficiently. Our construction manager was attentive during the construction phase but after it was a challenge to keep on them to finish the necessary work after closing. The build quality is passable but often find it wasn't done with any level of craftsmanship. Landscaping left much to be desired. Sod placed in the dead of winter has died and have been trying to wait for a reply. The sod dying and not taking is leading to some soil erosion and grading issues. I hope they respond soon to resolve this issue.

Overall we like our home but numerous problems exist. Most are the result of careless mistakes that now require things to be redone and may be difficult to fix satisfactory.Wish more attention/oversight was given during the building process.

Failing The "Last Mile"

There is way too much to share, but the bottom line is that the sales process went well, but not the finishing the construction's final touches. The last finishing touches, such as fixing things that are not done right or incomplete has been a frustrating slow process. Ranging from bad solutions to no (or slow) response. Even 60 days after closing we are still chasing resolution. This is true for us and other homeowners on our new street. Pulte's operations can't seem to get the 'last mile' of the journey completed. Very disappointing.

Paint, texture, floors. Cabinets, tile. You name it! We are going to have to warranty so many items! Everything has a “short cut”. Flooring. You name it.

My home was not ready for closing. There were too many items that needed to be repaired redone or fixed. Now it’s a slow and difficult process dealing with the home warranty and vendors entering my home for things that should have been complete before the closing.

Everything was great until we filled out our 5 star reviews that they all begged for. After that, everything takes a turn because nobody cares anymore. They got their good review and now it doesn’t matter - maybe a public review will spark some initiative. We moved into our new home 12/08 and discovered a leaking valve on a toilet 12/21. Construction manager wanted to fix it but because of “liability” gets told he isn’t allowed, and we need to contact customer service. We have been contacting customer service off and on with empty promises and zero follow through since then. The plumber ...

Homebuying experience is good sales consultant is helpful in showing houses, builders are not able to reapond properly when there are issues in the first 30 days of closing Builder gives so many false hopes for the open issues , but never reapond after closing

There are always issues after closing. Most are minor, but there isn’t great customer service or responsiveness after closing by construction manager. We are an afterthought. There should be a person on the construction side to make customers requests feel important post closing for all issues, especially the non warranty issues. Dropping the ball here is what dropped the score.

When the builder did a walk they with me he gave me his number and told me as I discovered items that need attention to let him know. Well, he doesn’t answer his phone nor does he return messages. The Pulti warranty company doesn’t answer the phone either. I feel like I’m being ignored.

Unfortunately, I wish I could give 5 star reviews. While the manager was great, all the issues have began after we moved in. The quality of the products isn’t great, some caulk is already falling out, 6 weeks after we moved in and some of the items that were out in the punch list still not finished plus new issues came up. I think the house building process was rushed and the could have been a better quality control.

Kept me out of the loop majority of the time and periodically checked in to see how things were going, however, never actually followed up on anything. For example, asked him to fix a bedroom door that wouldn't close and he said he would come by that week and he never came. I asked him at move-in to remove some stickers from a window and 2 weeks later I went up to him in person and asked him to come right then to remove the sticker, but he never remembered to come on his own. Overall nice constructions although a little shoddy on some things (crown molding, paint, pavers, etc.) also, some of materials used are of the lowest quality (switches, outlet plugs, bath fixtures). Warranty department is also slow to respond and requires multiple phone calls/ emails to get a response (if they respond at all).
