We were rushed into a quick closing and we do not presently live nearby. So far, we are simply dissatisfied with the warranty department and their inability to resolve urgent issues quickly. We had a flood of water come through the front door May 6, in a rainstorm. It’s rain season and this isn’t fixed yet. This issue has not been taken seriously as we thought it should have been resolved by the end of that week the latest. We would say that we have some lack of trust with Pulte Homes. As well, it’s difficult to speak to anyone without a message machine. That’s not working too well either. ...

Make sure your electrical outlets are not put in the corners where walls meet in the bathrooms. Get salesmen’s promises in writing. Don’t buy a model without speaking to an owner of one. Be prepared to be at home for “Punch lists” to be addressed.

Over all the updates on the build was excellent. If something doesn’t get done by the move in date it takes forever to have the items fixed after that.

I really like the home but the communication from the field team completely stopped at closing. Driveway and yard are still a work in progress due to weather but I only know something is going to happen when someone shows up knocking at the door. A heads up seems like it should be in order ‘hey, don’t drive on the concrete for x days’ versus it just being poured, roped off, and no discussion.

Overall very general approach to the quality. Like working to the gas station, at the very first glance everything looks good, but when you start looking in to detail, you could see that quality isn’t so good. I would never hire any contractors, to do job with this level of quality.

I have gone through a bad experience with Pulte after my loan was approved. Until the loan approval I was helped. Sales team good job. Before the closing, a the final walk through was not conducted. Upon closing, I found the home was not properly identified for the issues that pointed out like cement scraps in the foyer, laminated floors broken joints, scratched fridge, incorrect wiring with rooms, incorrect Ethernet cable marking to the location to which wire should go, lot of doors are not closable due uneven hinges placement specific to master bedroom and other bedroom & toilets, garage ...

I think they rushed through the build and had shotty work in many areas. After closing I was dropped like a led balloon. It has been 2 months since closing andI have yet to have a rough grade or driveway put in while spec homes have been built and finished including grade and driveway long after my closing. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

I definitely would advise anyone buying with Pulte, at least the team I worked with, do NOT accept closing agreements or promises. We've been closed for a little over a month and we're still trying to make progress on most of the items that were 'promised' to be taken care of right after closing if we agreed to close on time. We began looking in September and closed in late November. The buying portion of the experience was genuinely pleasant. Our sales representative, Sam, was fantastic—knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with—and our realtor was also excellent. It could be better, follow up don’t happen when expected. Still waiting on follow up after closing 3 months ago. Paint quality is poor. Repainted immediately after moving in. Still finding little things that was not caught in walk through but now OUR responsibility although it is fixable.

It was tough to get a final move in close date. We were given 3 different dates that cost us 3K in rentals. Because we rushed the final close date (we found out at 3 PM that were were closing the next day), the house was not cleaned. There was paint on the floor, lots of drywall dings, and other issues we didn't think we'd have with a brand new home. We didn't get any followup until we pressured our main builder contact. Was cleaned up after two months of being in the house. The air in the loft is still not working, we have one drawer and blind that is unusable in the kitchen.

Our home buying closing was remote from the State of Washington. The actual closing went smoothly. The issues we have addressed have not been responded to our satisfaction. Be sure that you know what you’re going to get for your final product. Our home was to include a two car garage. Due to poor grading of the lot, extra stairs were needed to get into the house through the garage. And therefore two cars do not fit in our garage. And Pulte is not willing to compensate us for the loss of value for our home.

Mortgage team stretched the time unnecessarily, they were keep on asking the same documents multiple times. The hand over/construction manager team doesn’t fix the items properly as they promised, the issues are still existing. The sales team Ms Sara is the best employee and she was 100% supportive. No one visited to hear back on open issues since the closing.
