We have lived in our new home since December. There were pros and cons to building with a production builder, like Pulte. We found the process to be simple overall and seamless from when we signed our first papers to our closing. We used Pulte mortgage, which I think helped keep the process simple for us. Communication was very open, and we felt we were able to easily speak to someone when we needed too. Chuck & Dj were very helpful and addressed our concerns to the best of their ability in a timely manner throughout the process. We felt that the final touches at the end of our build were very rushed to meet our closing deadline. Multiple trades were in the home at the same time and we felt that the order in which things were done was backwards at times. Our flooring and carpets were installed before all the drywall and painting was completed. I am still picking drywall and paint out of my brand new carpets. We had to ask them to clean multiple stains off of the carpet due to workers entering the home with muddy boots on and walking throughout the house. The carpet itself is not the best quality, but will serve its purpose. The cleanliness of the home during the entire build process was terrible. There was garbage left all around inside the house and outside on the property. Workers left behind their empty soda bottles, McDonald's cups, empty chip bags, ect. We complained more than once during the process and the house was picked up, but only after we complained. I feel the size of the home is appropriate for the price we paid, but the quality of some of the work is not. Our drywall and paint looks rough in multiple places already and spots they "fixed" right before closing are already showing again. The entire house was painted with flat paint and is easily chipped or stained if you touch it at all. The entire house has to be painted all one color...you cannot choose different colors for different rooms. Overall we are pleased with the house and we do feel like our contractors put forth extra effort a few times to help satisfy our expectations. ... More

I must say I am pretty satisfied by the purchase. Pulte does take care of a lot of things for you, even after closing.

The wood floor isn't flat and has noise. The garage door has big noise and a gap when I closed. The wall is a wallpaper, it's easy to off the wall.

Worksmanship can be iffy, but the builders will fix anything wrong/poorly done promptly.

The house is ok, no major issues. Since it’s a builder-grade, HOA-community house, the choices on some items important to us were limited, such as quality of materials and availability of finishes. The mass-production approach also doesn’t take into account end-user experience. Due to these two factors, it will require substantial rework, something we were hoping to avoid by buying a new home. Live and learn.

Overall it’s a nice home. A few issues are disappointing and I’m not sure I would build with them again.

Make sure you know ALL the options on your new home before you finalize your purchase.

From start to finish my wife and I were provided great service and we love our new home. Pulte offers great quality at an affordable price. I've been told buying a home can be very stressful, but Pulte ensured our experience was stress free.

Pulte had an easy process for picking out our options and guided us through everything. After we moved in there were a few items needing attention that we pointed out. Pulte warranty was all over it! very happy with our sales team and the our builder!

Great people to work with. Quality of the material is not that great as compared to the price. Does lacks some finishes/touchups at the first place which were taken care once service request were created. Overall I am happy with Pulte. Would definitely recommend.

Front office staff very responsive. Couple of response time delays, but overall very pleasant and cooperative. Not overly impressed with cleaning crew. Tucker came out personally to do a job that they should have completed. Front office staff always very pleasant and responsive.

Ensure to receive the complete information regarding the quality of all the materials because we didn’t receive all of the details about our floor’s material.

Love the home but been having a lot of issues and I only been here two months so Im not as happy as I was when i was purchasing. Please take your time when purchasing a new home it can be your worst nightmare if you dont do your homework.

Before closing make sure all repairs/corrections have been made to your satisfaction. We had some minor issues that were still pending and were told at the final walk-thru they would be taken care of after the closing. When trying to schedule it became somewhat of a challenge. In all fairness the most crucial item did receive attention. Otherwise, we are very pleased with our new home : )

Overall happy with the purchase. Great location and good plan. But few defects like a leaking pipe showed up once we moved in. But Pulte was quick to rectify it.

We really like our new home. The only exception is the insufficiency of the insulation, both exterior & interior. Cold air from the outside & lack of privacy with interior walls. We think that insulation should have been more robust.

I watched this house built from footings, slab, framing, mechanical/electrical rough-in, roofing, rough stucco, insulation, wall-boarding, to finishing. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and workmanship that went into all but one of these phases. Unfortunately, the finishing was less than satisfactory. Seemingly lacking in this project was a quality control walkdown by a person with an eye on fit and finish. This logical omission would have prevented a lot of frustration experienced before and after closing.

Vibrant community and amenities

This is the third home we have had built by a mass builder. It was not the worst by far, but definitely not the best. The buying experience was not good at all. Since moving in, I have to say that they are really great about getting any issues taken care of right away. Overall, if we were ever to build again we would consider them.

Did not receive a prompt response to service request. For example, when I requested adjustment to water pressure and temperature, I was initially told to call a plumber myself. Eventually, service was provided but had to make multiple contacts. Issue could have been handled more efficiently.
