Bought our house in the Sterling @ West Hills community in California back in March 2019. The experience was very positive from the sales process, thru the closing to delivery. The value we received for the price we paid was excellent! So far all service requests have been fulfilled in a quick and professional manner! We are very happy with the choice we made with Pulte Homes!

Pulte is a very professional organization, vertically integrated to make the buying process easier. I was incented to get my mortgage and homeowners insurance from them and saved all my closing costs. From start to finish, I closed in under 30 days. I highly recommend them as a quality builder in NC, and have had more positive experiences than working with Toll Brothers for my last house in 2000. I have had two other brand new house build. The only complaint I have are the windows. All of them are cut on the frame and the edges are rough. That to me is just not right. Sarah, our sales consultant was terrific, cheerful and knowledgeable. This is the 4th Pulte home I have purchased and was confindent that it would be as terrific as the other 3. I sold homes for Pulte for 15 years and believed in the product, until now. The home that I have purchased in NE Ohio is in a word, horrible. The workmanship is extremely sloppy, really over the top. The sheet rock installation is below sub-par and I question the credentials of the subs that did the work. Overall the home buying process was pretty smooth. The home itself is where the issue is. This is fine if you’re buying your first house..but if you’re trying to buy a QUALITY home, look elsewhere. The paint for the walls is so cheap, you could bump into and it leaves a mark. There is no storage for anything. There is no storage for anything upstairs besides an attic. There is no where to put towels, wash clothes or etc. There is a storage closet right by the garage but there are no racks. The pantry in the kitchen is so small..Very disappointing. It was difficult applying stars because where there were issues a 1 would apply. Firstly our major complaint is we are very upset about the symbiotic relationship between your subcontractors Uxari (security and sound system) and Coast to Coast Pool (pump) with the internet provider Blue Stream’s system. We moved in November 13th and are still experiencing major issues with the technology provided by both vendors. Sales Rep Megan, Design Center Rep Maureen, CM Daniel and Customer Rep Kayla were all great to work with. CM Daniel, in particular, listened to my concerns and worked to address them. Getting things done quickly, however, was less satisfactory, which was frustrating when I was eager to get settled and enjoy my new home. My main criticism is the quality of the finishing on the woodworking. Hopefully this will be addressed at the quality review in about 9 months.
