In all my dealings with Pulte, they have been nothing but outstanding, from the sales team (Chad), mortgage company, financing and the builders team (Kelley)! I’d could not have been served better.

Everyone was really helpful even after I moved in and needed to reach out to the contractor.

This is my fourth house that I purchased in the last 15 years and by far it was the easiest process. Pulte made the experience very efficient and made sure that all of my needs were met. Furthermore, the design and the workmanship of the houses is amazing. I would definitely purchase another Pulte home.

Pulte is a behemoth in the home construction field, and buying from them requires knowing what you're getting. They make their homes affordable by limiting customization to a very small number of options (e.g. types of tile, optional amenities) and cranking homes out at speed. This is not inherently a bad thing, but it can be frustrating if you're not ready for it. For our needs, the options Pulte provided were great (we upgraded the base house significantly) and the layout of the home was ideal. We didn't mind the small number of design options, but do be wary if you love to decorate. The build quality was something I was prepared to compromise on, but to my surprise, it has been generally excellent. The framing was top-notch, flooring was installed flawlessly, and what issues arose (mis-placed shower head, missing lights, etc) were all addressed quickly and well. So, what's the downside? As much as we've loved our house, the sales team (hampered SIGNIFICANTLY by Pulte's in-house software) was a challenge to work with. We got to the right spot at the end, but stupid things like having both carpet AND hardwood somehow configured for one of our rooms, inability to differentiate the finish for our master bath's lighting and kitchen faucets, and other basic, basic issues made it a much more stressful process than it needed to be. We had to literally line-by-line the 5 page change orders, each time a change was made, to make sure that all the debits and credits lined up. To be clear, this was looking for errors due to system complexity - the sales team themselves were well intentioned. It's really the poor tooling they work with and the restrictions placed on them that were the main cause of issues. So, all in all, I came out of this pleasantly surprised at the quality of the home we ended up with, the attentiveness and responsiveness of the build team, and the value we got for our money. It's a terrific home, well laid out and just what we wanted. If you're looking at a Pulte home, just be aware that the low (relative) cost comes with very limited design options and a requirement that you go through the sales & configuration process with eyes like a hawk. On a final note, unlike many builders, Pulte actually hit their closing date with time to spare. Super impressed by that. Again, the assembly-line approach to home construction has its pluses and minuses. They know how to put a house together and keep their teams humming. In my case, the home was already designed and built. Was impressed by the solid build quality. Issues and questions raised during final inspection were quickly resolved.

We are satisfied with the quality of the construction. There were some issues with the balcony during the construction process, which was resolved satisfactorily after several conversations.

Buying experience was good, it was easy and responsiveness was great. Only area where I felt improvement is needed is the quality and unfinished work while final handing over. There were lot of minor work needed after taking possession. Even though the warranty is available, it wasn’t 100%perfect. Everything else was good.

We had a very positive experience with Pulte from start to finish. The team was professional, communicative, and responsive throughout the entire process. They kept us informed and made sure our questions were answered promptly. The quality of the home and attention to detail met our expectations, and overall the process felt organized and well-managed. I really like the one-stop shop buying experience offered by Pulte Home. It took away the stress having to shop around for my home insurance and my loan whilst ensuring the loan would be processed on time for Closing. The people are outstanding at Pulte. That's the KEY! I'm very happy with everyone I have contacted with like Ryan (Pulte Sales), Zach and Kathy (Pulte Mortgage), Chasen (Pulte Construction), Blake (Pulte Home Insurance), Darryl (Customer Care). At the end of the day, all issues related to the home can be fixed with the warranty. We purchased a quick home from the builder’s inventory. The home is fine, but the sales contract number differs from the actual closing numbers. For instance, the sale contract states $174 monthly HOA dues, but the actual HOA account shows $181.33 monthly. Before closing, and after closing, there are no change orders or other changes. We reached out to all Pulte departments, but no one seems to know who to contact regarding the monthly HOA price increase. This price hike occurred without any prior notice or legal letter, how it is possible? Let us know who can help us to resolve the issue. (HOA dues must be as per sales contract.) ... More
