The material used to build the house seems of not very high quality. I didn’t like the drywall thickness, power outlets and sturdiness. I can easily hear upstair and vibration from washer and dryer. Room door is cheap quality. I like the carpet used only.

1 year to construct house. Sales team and design team has given tough time. More than 2 months, there are many issues not addressed yet which was noted during closing.

The process to build completion was fraught with frustrations. The Pulte mortgage process was awful - responsiveness was almost zero and had to constantly follow-up and track down the person assigned to my closing. The individual has a permanent out of office set so you cannot reach them. The Pulte construction manager is a negative rating on a scale of 0-10. Responsiveness is non-existent. I was not informed of a supply chain issue with my cabinets. I was not informed of a changed closing date and just happened to find out from Pulte mortgage "Hey, your closing date was pushed a month, did you know?" Non-responsiveness to questions. It is now 1.5 months after closing and the list of items that were supposed to be addressed still sit, waiting. The construction manager responded multiple times that everything would be taken care of that week and...nothing. He advised me not to submit to warranty likely to not have a tracking record. I've stopped asking for fixes and he has not responded. Very disappointing and frustrating. Would not recommend! With so many options in builders out there in this area (and perhaps yours?) carefully research the responsiveness and management of your building process. It makes a huge difference! ... More

1. There are some areas at the living room lvp flooring where I can see some pop ups which moves and down. They are pretty significant. 2. There is crack in the concrete near the edge in front porch. 3. Loft carpet has a discoloration of line. This has been passed to builder and they sent a person to check it out. No updates from them. 4. Dishwasher is installed bent towards right side. RDU warranty team says they can look only during the built to last check point which is after 11 months. Is there a way to just have a check and evaluate.

Pulte homes are known for their built and quality. Although I can say I am happy with my new home, the same cannot be said for the buying and building experience. The communication from the site manager, the loan office as well as the sales agent was lackluster. Every little update required communication from the customers part and never was anything communicated by the initiative of these company employees. Overall I’m happy with my home, however if you must buy a pulte home keep into consideration it might not be a wholesome experience.

Cheap quality construction, had a sink leak immediately noticed after closing, when asked to be fixed under warranty, I was told to wait for 11 month walk through. I lost the trust in the warranty and overall Pulte.

We can understand the uncertainty of construction material's supply during the pandemic, however there should be more communication. From the website supposed to be able to sign in and monitor the progress of construction, there was not much updates we could know. The quality of finished job was not satisfactory. The builder seems to be in hurry, speeding up the work without the quality control, left a few apparent defects which shouldn't happen. Lack of attention to detail in finishing work. Can still feel uneven concrete from corrections of issues in the slab through the finished floor. Multiple issues with electrical and plumbing that needed to be addressed in first 2 weeks. Of our 3 experiences with new construction this was the worst

I wouldn't buy their house if I were to live in it. For rental it's ok.

I'd say Pulte is good but not great. It's like eating fast food. Some of it might taste good, but it's far from eating at a nice restaurant. It's just a matter of how many hairs you find in your food.

Love the plan and the neighborhood, but beware - they were not great on correcting issues. We’ve built multiple times but this is the first time we’ve ever had a builder admit that something was constructed incorrectly and then ask us if we would rather correct it ourselves. About half of the issues they just never fixed, and getting an escalation contact was next to impossible.

Issues identified during home inspections and Build Quality Check, are taking months even after closing is done. The fixes are still pending and needs constant followup to get it fixed and still pending. Keep scheduling every week, but then noone shows up and then the cycle repeats.

I would not recommend Pulte to others who are interesting in using this builder. After being in the house for a month, I have noticed numerous items that were completely poorly. The lack of response from the PM is disheartening. I have friend who is ready to sign in a different Pulte community that I will be discouraging from doing so.

Overall it's a nice house. Quality of materials used in the home could be better for the price paid. Workmanship is a bit sloppy. Builder has stopped responding to fix simple issues in the home that are under warranty once we closed on the house.

Quality of the home isn’t the best. Not even a month living at my new home, the drywall started to crack, walls aren’t evenly painted, warranty is non responsive... better off going with a different builder in my opinion

During the process of building this home we had a building manager who failed to address multiple issues addressed by my building inspector. Halfway through this process that manager was “fired” and replaced another who did address all of our issues and responded quickly. The closing process was smooth, meetings with everyone went well and our needs were being met... until closing. We signed off on our house at closing after speaking with the new building manager regarding problems that arose during our blue tape inspection. Most things were fixed but we were specifically told that everything would be taken care off. 3 months after closing our wooden staircase is still not fixed (they’ve redone it horribly 4 times), the metal railing balusters are still not all secured, the trim around our fireplace has separated from the floor 3 times and the repair men just told me to put weights on it so it will glue back down, there are chips in our floor that haven’t been fixed, flooring in our office doesn’t go all the way to the baseboard so there is a gap between the wall and flooring, there are paint spots all over the wood flooring downstairs, we had 4 lightbulbs burn out in the first 2 weeks, and the subfloor in our master bedroom has separated from the beams and popped up which now squeaks every time we walk in it. These were issues found in our inspection that we’re never fixed and now structural issues are occurring. We love this house but are extremely disappointed in the willingness to fix issues that should have been done months ago. After closing the house .. Pulte Doesnt respond to there customers and lot of negligence

We love our new home, however the buying/building process was unbearable. Our Sales Associate, Blair, was condescending and somewhat rude during the entire process. She rushed us through our choices and didn't offer many that were available. There was never a time where we felt she truly cared or understood our wants and needs. Our sales contract was signed in June 2019. Our first walk through was on July 15th. At that time, we were given a closing date of September 26th. We had a home to sell and Blair continually hounded us about putting the home on the market. We listed the home on August 14th and it sold on August 16th. To make a long story short, we never closed on our new home until December 17th. We lost our buyer and he ended up suing us for breach of contract, costing several thousand dollars that Pulte would not agree to assist with. Also, our home was appraised at $12k less than the selling price and Pulte would only take $6k off. The home is beautiful, but still has minor issues that were supposed to be fixed before we moved in. The house was never cleaned before we moved in, so we had to do it ourselves. Pulte told us the subdivision was in Morrisville, but it's actually in Durham. These kind of things were continual and expected throughout the entire process. We have a list of items ready to send to the Construction Manager before our 90 days is up. We'll be curious to see if we get a response. Less than 2 months moving in, with the rain This week I have a water leak through the AC vent and window from the half bathroom downstairs. Reported and after 3 days no answer. Bad quality of material and labor. Where is the field manager from 218 Eagleson??????? The house can get flooded and nobody cares.

Pulte has agreed to address a serious design flaw in my new home. They have limited the actions that they are willing to take. I hope that the actions that they are starting to take will somewhat resolve this issue. I realize that I'm insignificant in the scope of this large corporation. However, my spending almost $500K for my house is huge and I was hoping my new home would be a wonderful sanctuary of peace and enjoyment.

The quality was very poor and the response of the issues reported is very worst. Totally not a worth one.

Experience with Pulte is pretty average. Some building materials feel cheap in comparison to our previous build. Obvious lack of craftsmanship and attention to detail by many of their vendors. Issues have been, or are being addressed, but they definitely drag their feet and some repairs were not completed as they should have been due to procrastination.

Be careful buying a home with Pulte. Lots of items promised & not delivered that we paid for! Overall, a terrible experience with the construction manager.

Lot of pain points. Dont stress too much on promising quality when you cant keep your words.
