Communication about home was lacking at times throughout the process. Numerous issues, mostly minor, but still issues with workmanship. Poorly painted walls, caulking, drywall. Seems rushed and lacking attention to detail

disappointing how many rules there are when in comes to what you can and can not do with your own yard

Overall process was smooth and organized. Lack of skilled trades is the real issue. Construction quality seems high, the finish work was rushed and very average. Once taking possession responsiveness has declined. Issues aren't large ones but once signing off we certainly don't seem quite as important to Pulte

Make sure to review the options list thoroughly at the beginning of signing the purchase agreement. You don’t have long to Add or delete options. Be aware you can’t make changes throughout the build process.

Pulte helped us closing our new home on time. Pulte has to keep inspection report before even they schedule meeting with customers. Overall quality is good so far. Customer has to get blue prints of all the Structure, plumbing and electrical plans.if any repair comes it will be very useful to the customer in case of any repair after warranty period is over. for New customers: be prepared before going into design center with options that you want opt for. Pulte mortgage needs to offer competitive quotes to the customer.

Need to make sure you are looking as the construction gets done. Some major framing issues with our condo.. Things are being corrected but I was a little surprised at how the place was not finished or cleaned properly when we closed.

Our home buying closing was remote from the State of Washington. The actual closing went smoothly. The issues we have addressed have not been responded to our satisfaction. We have gutters that totally leak and overflow when it rains. The toilet in our master bedroom does not operate properly. Molding in the master bedroom shower is missing. The garage door is not properly installed and constantly rattles from the wind. There is tape on the patio door that needs to be removed. There was a workman sent to address our fireplace hearth to which we could not find the issue that he was to address. Had a good reputuation of Pulte Homes at the time of signing up the new house. After seeing the type of construction they're doing I can't recommand Pulte to any. There are hiring cheap labor and quality of work is not professional

They don’t care customers after closing. Make sure to get things done before sale.

Very difficult to get responses once the sale is closed. They don't call back!

The sales is great. The salesman is willing to help all the time and all the ways. If there are ten stars, I will give ten. The contract didn’t update correctly after the interior design. Some items’ name are different between contract and design brochure. It caused the wrong items are installed and can’t be changed. Lessons to learn here, please sure all the items on the contract are same as what you want. If you find differences from the brochure, just ask. Some construction issues weren’t solved until moved in. Complained many times about the remaining roof issue. But the bad quality roof still can be observed until today. Sounds like once the house is closed, you paid, this is it. Their job is done. They don’t care about you anymore. Follow up is slow. During our walk through almost 1/2 the windows came off the track. Waited four weeks to have a dedicated GFI for the refrigerator install. Still waiting on pantry door to be replaced and cabinet door to be replaced.

Responsiveness to issues is so poor. Quality of homes is poor and customer service is horrible.

This was a nightmare! I have purchased 8 other homes and have not been through what Pulte had done to us. That needs to be fixed asap!

The house is really good and no issues with the quality

House is great so far, minor issues as expected. This is not our first build the first difference is no grass was not installed in front yard as part of build or even offered. Back yard grading was never finished told to wait until spring so we will see. Fine finishing details not quit up to par I.E. both sliding doors caked in dirt, Paint left behind was all left open so no it’s unusable and I have to dispose of now. The driveway is ridiculously small for 3 car garage option for no reason plenty of room and maybe a 1/4 yard more of concrete. Unfortunately this builder isn’t much different than many of the others where you have to perform their inspections for them. Too many issues get missed and the end consumer gets stuck having to deal with them, all so that they can make their monthly quotas.

Look good before you buy

Pulte BPC/Mudroom is very functional and serves as a second office on the first floor. The doorways upstairs are narrow and the air return vents above the bedrooms do not allow for privacy. Expected better workmanship overall for the price.

There are several issues found a month after move in. a. The head/air doesnt blow to the two bedrooms farther away from the Furnace. Did Pulte test air flow out of the vents. I am confident anemometer was never used. Now running through Pulte hoops to get someone to look. Understand all my neighbours are having similar issues. b. The water pressure in shower and several taps is not adequate. Pulte sent a plumber, who cleaned up something here and there. They dont measure preassue or flow. c. The landing area hardwood is shoddy, looks like a novice did the Hardwood. d. Pulte Warranty is run by robots, cannot speak to a person. They have a basic questionnaire, and endless robotic options. They try to finish the work as fast as they can and close the house. After framing is completed, they give all of the remaining work to contracting companies. And they finsih their work with poor quality and the finishing look of the work do not look good and fine. The problem is they either donot have control over the contractors or they are lazy to properly coordinate with them. In the end, the construction team overshadows the issues and try to convince you that the item/product/structure itself look like this and there is no scope for improvement.
