Let me start by saying that Ben our construction manager, addressed every concern we had upfront immediately and kept us up to date weekly, to the status of the build. He is a true assets and I think made a big difference on our build. I will say that Pulte really needs to address some drywall and paint quality issues, such as very visible drywall mud seams, drywall tape behind the paint peeling off, sloppiness of the applied paint, and the quality of the paint(even when paying for the paint upgrade). If I pay for the paint upgrade, I expect the paint to be better quality than say buying a can of basic flat paint, at a big box store. Pulte is a huge national company, they should use very high quality paint, especially when paying for the paint upgrades. It’s a huge miss there in my opinion. We moved in a little over a month ago and besides the issue with the paint, which I feel some of these can be resolved within our warranty period, we haven’t really noticed any other issues. We are very happy with the quality of a lot of the finishes throughout. Pulte is also very good at cleaning their construction sites every night as there’s no debris left thrown about and street sweeper comes daily. The only extremely disappointing issue we had during the whole build is Pulte mortgage and the “promise” of an incentive for just initially talking to them. They seem to be shady at best. We chose another lender upfront but they kept communicating with us and even ordered an appraisal on our property like we had a loan there. Very easy process, exactly what I needed.

Pulte did a great job with the process and the staff is very friendly.

I checked out all available units on multiple occasions and was able conclude with incentive. I am happy to get what i want for my budget. I was guided in right direction to make correct decision. Also, i got support in moving into the home which was very very helpful. Overall, i’m happy and its great

Drew was very responsive to questions issue before and even after closing.

Couldn't believe contractor-grade materials used based my home price point. Hood vent partially installed; told it would be finished or removed after closing. Six weeks later, and multiple requests made to construction manager, no action has still been taken. Surprised at the misinformation given to me to use all of Pulte services. For example, their homeowners insurance quote emailed to me sounded good on the surface, but upon further examination, realized the quote was for only about 2/3s the value of the home being purchased. Not sure at what point I would have been told the cost based on the actual home value. ... More

Overall, we are very satisfied with our homebuilding experience here with Townes at Lakeview. Our home was delivered in great condition with only a few minor things we wish were designed differently (namely placement of light switches and power outlets). Would recommend to anyone ready to embrace low maintenance multi-family living.

This was our first home by experience, and they made the process, very smooth. The materials for that were on the basic side, but that it was the flexibility to add nicer light fixtures, bathroom, vanities, shower heads, etc. in the future. Overall, the price of the house seemed reasonable. When we went to close, we’re going to the show room and try and they were many more materials and lighting fixtures etc that we were never offered. Build manager Adam was very responsive and helpful through the build process. We definitely got more value from a new build with pulte than any of the used options we found in the entire Detroit area

Delivered condo in the time estimated with all my choices & colors I selected.

Every step of the process was smooth until the closing process. Kyle the project manager was very helpful, prompt and friendly. I found the closing process a bit stressful as I was unaware that a date would be picked for the closing and then was absolutely non-negotiable. That caused a good deal of unnecessary stress. It ended up working out OK but not before a considerable amount of stress and worry.

Firstly, Lynette is a wonderful person to work with. She helped us in getting the lot we are interested in and made our process very easy from signing the contract and until we moved in. While in the construction stage I worked with Ali, our construction manager who is an another wonderful person that I met during the process. He was very patient to answer all my questions and really took care of us with everything we wanted in our new home. Overall I'm very much satisfied that I chose Pulte.

Overall it was a good experience with Pulte. They were timely with responses to our questions and concerns. We were a little disappointed with the painting of the inside of our home. I feel like they rushed our closing so it would be done in 2022. Also, we are concerned with what we are seeing with driveway concrete- it appears to be flaking. But I’m confident they will address these concerns during our 1 year check in.

Good experience in general, house looks like well robust build (for the 1st month living there) Hopefully will be in that same way in the next years.

Everything went real smooth except when I asked if I can insulate the garage, I was told it’s going to delay construction and inspection when I could’ve taken 1 evening to insulate now it’s all drywalled and it’ll cost a fortune to insulate now, it’s colder in the garage then outside, 1 other issue was I noticed allot of dust in the house, I decided to look down the floor registers and low and behold all kinds of construction debri so had to vacuum it all out, other then that the house is quiet inside don’t hear showers running don’t hear toilets flushing from 1st floor or 2nd floor, job well done. ... Working with Pulte has been an exceptional experience. We did have a few rough patches throughout the process but the resolve was timely. Henry is a thorough salesman who makes sure all the details are ticked and tied. Chadd works diligently to make sure your home is completed on time and with minimal issues and Kevin ensures a quality customer experience over all. When building a home there will always be an element of human error on both sides, but keeping the right attitude and trusting the process/people you are working with will deliver the best results. Pulte develops a nice community with a nice choice of floor plans.

Communication is vital to a successful build relationship. Ask for weekly status updates while making sure you are clear (before starting the process) on what your expectations are.

Our experience with Sales and Project Manager was excellent. Pulte built a quality home with emphasis on energy conservation and final finishes. Picking from the Pulte catalog of build options allowed us to specify a home which reflected our needs and wants.

We have had a great experience building with Pulte. I gave 4/5 stars for the value because the selections given were not top quality and I wish that they had better selections available for home buyers.

It was a good experience!

There was an urgency by Pulte to close before the end of the year 2021 to meet budget which caused workers to do poor quality work in order to finish and meet the timelines. Sloppy is unacceptable to a buyer. All in all they have worked hard to fix any issues in a decent time after move in. The workers have been super and I am sorry for giving 3 stars for quality of workmanship but given the conditions I felt I had no choice.
