Home are not even close to the quality they claim. As soon as you sign the purchase agreement, forget about hearing from the salesperson. They will disappear!!! Set up a third party inspector ASAP. They will come up with tons of excuses to not let you use a third party inspector ASAP. None of the walls are straight. Cheap build quality on they way things are done. Plenty of cur corners. Kitchen cabinets only have 1 screw to hold the door hinges. We had a contractor come out and he showed us all the issues with the wall. He said he has never seen how bad the walls are. Zero stars. 1) My wife's foot was injured due to Pulte's poor workmanship and intentional neglect of a known safety hazard. They still deny it now. 2) They laid down straw and seed despite knowing that temperatures would drop below 32F, completely ignoring common sense. 3) There is water leakage and a strange cracking sound behind the wall, which Pulte insists is normal. 4) I have tons of other issues I could go on and on about.

10% of non-refundable earnest money required. Had to complain numerous times during the building process on many issues to get it fixed. Kept asking good feedback on the survey both construction and mortgage process. The construction manager stopped responding right after the survey was completed even though there are some items that still need to be fixed. I am not going to recommend Pulte homes to my friends.

I decided to sign an agreement with Pulte Homes to buy my new home after inspecting the home. I was fascinated by the offer of covering the closing cost which was said by the Sales consultant and I was informed i would only be paying the 5% down payment which was $19700. This was an exciting offer. The mortgage application came through and I was informed by pulte mortgage that I would be paying the closing cost which runs $5000+. I called the sales consultant only to be informed that market changed and the incentive will only cover part of the closing cost. I felt so mad and disappointed why ...

The worst build process I’ve ever been through in my life. Too many issues to type but all it takes is one look through my history. Since I’ve been in the home (2 months), I’ve already had a ceiling leak in my master bath, electrical problems (outlets not working in all bathrooms, window still not fixed that was on closing detail, landscaping not completed. I would not and will not recommend Pulte, not even to my worst enemy.

This is our second home but our first ever built and the whole process was stressful to say the least. I was disappointed at the quality that the house was delivered. The quality of workmanship and materials are embarrassing and doesn't worth the money we pay for the house. We came upon several issues while we did our preclosing check up and our concerns were heard until we had to involve more people. The house would have been delivered better if Pulte homes didn't push to finish the house sooner than it was supposed to. I doubt we will go with Pulte homes for our next house. NEVER AGAIN!

Shandra the realtor lied to us about multiple situations; if a verbal promise is made obtain documentation of that conversation. Upon purchase date former verbal promises were still unclear and we were unable to these benefits. During the home buying process we were informed that the house was being sold to another party, yet this information was false due to improper procedures. Overall, horrible build process and experience that resulted in an extremely overpriced and low quality home for the price point. Zero responsibility taken by Pulte for a build that went well beyond the contractual completion date with no legitimate reason other than mismanagement, which resulted in thousands of dollars in additional cost to us and no recourse or consideration from Pulte. Pulte also caused mold in our home during the build and refused to acknowledge, properly remediate or perform follow on testing to ensure the safety of our family because, as the Construction Rep in ...

Be prepared to wait well past expected closing date. Be prepared to deal with multiple problems and wait for items to be repaired/completed. Be prepared to deal with multiple construction managers with only the last one knowing what he is doing. Most recent construction manager is trying very hard to make everything right but can only do so much. Charles has been phenomenal and if he were the construction manager from the beginning, I have no doubt I would not have had the problems we are still experiencing. We have been disappointed with the home buying process and workmanship in our home. We were hoping to be excited to take possession and that did not happen. Many times our concerns were dismissed. No urgency to get things corrected. For example, our doors on the lower level will not close, at all. The carpet in one area does not meet the baseboard which leaves a gap. The toilet is not bolted down tight to the floor. The toilets are not centered between the vanity and tub. We do not have a main water shut off inside the home (has since been resolved). Our home building process with Pulte @ Hunters Run Fishers IN, which was supposed to be exciting and joyful turned into worst nightmare of our life as soon as we signed the contract. The new home build process was financially and mentally detrimental to our entire family. Dear Pulte sales team and construction managers, Your unwillingness to honor your contractual obligations made our 11 month building experience almost unbearable, our daily struggle to compel you to build a quality home; without end! Not only did you act in bad faith throughout the lengthy construction process, but (on four separate occasions) scheduled our home to close with unresolved structural defects, no built-in appliances, or the required Certificate of Occupancy. Pulte needs to control their vendors quality! Painters did poor job! Used very thin layers of paint and we can see the blue mark up to be painted again. Electrical vendor damage our upgrade trim but decided to caulk the trim instead of replacing it. Carpenter didn’t smooth out the trim and used the rough side as the face. Electrical vendor will cancel your warranty for simply switching out the switch unless your goes through them for a “small fee”. I will never build with Pulte again.

There is a limit in these reviews so I can't even list all of the issues that have come up. The quality of the trades they outsource are horrible.
