There are few issues like Since we chose platinum package we have chosen vinyl but there is a gap between vinyl floor and the door frame. Drive way bricks not properly arranged. Also the closet racks all rusted the day we move in. Still following up for the replacement. Someone came to touch up that's what we need. Garage was not placed properly I see the bolt placed on one side unsupported and door hanged somewhere. Guest restroom water clogged within a week. Title floor filings coming out now itself.

At my closing I pointed out something that needed to be so done my field manager said he would take care of he promised. He just wanted me to sign off... there are stain drippings on my stair case. There are granite on my floors and paint in my floors throughout my home, there is a deep scratch on my cabinets in my bathroom that I noticed as i was leaving out the bathroom as there was a piece of blue tape there but not addressed. I paid extra for a refrigerator there top of the line one that they had to offer. On the day of closing they put a temp one in and told me that it would be 2-4 weeks the fridge was on back order. After 4 weeks no one contacted me I had to reach out to them and the person that contacted me said he was not sure when the fridge will arrive. He would contact me which one has it. By the time you see your house finished, you are amazed as it’s a dream coming true. By the time you settle in and start living inside it, you start noticing several aspects about the material and workmanship that could have been done better, such as stains all over the walls and flooring, hand marks from the workers that do not go away, poor quality painting that gets off easily and is sticky, small holes left unattended and so on. It’s a bummer to notice those items only after living on it, which starts to be a life of fixing minor issues.

The experience didn’t feel personal. For the amount we are paying for the house I expected better communication and follow up from Pulte’s end. I also expected better results from the vendors you used. It felt as if they didn’t care and our home wasn’t really a priority for them with how careless they were with some of their work. Pulte could do a better job with following up on your vendors worksmanship.

Great neighborhood but seems like things were rushed at the end. A lot of less than quality work mad been found after we moved in. We are getting lots fixed but horrible drywall work can’t be fixed. But we love neighborhood and house design.

We purchased a new Pulte home at Epperson Ranch just over a month ago. It was a quick move-in home so we didn't have any input into the finishings or design. Nevertheless, we liked what we saw so we went ahead to purchase it. Although it was a brand new home, we decided to pay the extra $$ to get a new home inspection done, and we were very glad we did! Someone once told me that when you build with a company (like Pulte), the same guys building the 200k houses, build the 400k houses and the 750k houses in the development. I tried to except this,,,, tried. However when you spend this much money, you’d hope for a higher quality relative to the lower cost homes. They are all very good. Just not great.

Builder restrictions..Ask before buying

This builder requires the homebuyer to use only the contractors and subcontractors originally engaged in the construction of the house. After closing, as the homeowner, if I wish to have ceiling fans or wired security cameras installed, I am obligated to use the same electrical service company employed by the builder. If I choose to use another licensed electrical company, my electrical warranty will be voided. From the very beginning, starting the loan process with Pulte mortgage was downright horrible. The loan officer did not have any emotional intelligence very rude. We are happy with the quick response for any issues. Since Putle is the one of the popular builder, we had great expectations regarding the quality and finishing by the time we close the house. However, we were very disappointed with the poor finishing. We see a lot of paint patch works across the home, doors paint wearing off in two weeks, they fixed it but same repeated. Unclean finish of grouting in the bathroom tiles. Doors misalignments and so on. Carpet issues like, it came off in a week not happy.
