Overall a very positive experience!

Sales process was seamless, we were kept informed throughout the build and were given advance notice in case there were any issues or delays. Both sales agent and Construction manager were amazing to work with.

Good home buying experience overall. Workmanship and attention to detail could use improvement.

This was the first time I went thru new construction on a home. Pulte made the process easy and enjoyable. They kept me informed during the entire process. Our home was completed right within their predicted timeframe. Our home is beautiful and any issues we have found will be addressed in a timely manner.

Overall I had a great experience building my home in Lakewood Ranch Florida. Sales always kept me up to date, and the construction process went as expected. After settlement the only repair items remaining are cosmetic. For example: dented doors, paint in the grout, broken screens, etc. all of these items are easily mitigated.

Salesman Andrew Basco and Pulte mortgage team : Heidi Reinhart and Chris Arguello are simply the best in the business !!

Overall, we love our new home and everyone we dealt with from Pulte Homes was amazing. However, there were just a couple of things that “bothered” us. The first thing is that we were a little disappointed in the shortage of options in the catalog for selecting materials and finishes. We just felt for the price of the home, there should be a little more variety or more potions available to the buyer. Second, I think a little more attention should have been placed in cleaning the home when the build was completed. I noticed some sort of clear residue and white caulking on the floors throughout the home, and to spend a few days getting on the floor to scrub and remove the substances. Didn’t really expect to be doing this upon moving into our new home. Other that, everything else is great and the above mentioned “issues” are very minor and wouldn’t be show stoppers. ... More

We built a Pulte home during the height of the pandemic without ever seeing it in person. At the time, travel to the other state was prohibited. The sales team and our protect manager did a great job of keeping us informed by sending frequent photos and videos to update us on the progress. We made a few changes along the way and they were very accommodating. Thank you to Pulte team - we love the house!

My house was built on time. I a very happy with the results

Excited to be in our new home. Many features that we truly like. Some workmanship is not in keeping with what I would have expected for the price paid. Pulte crew has been very responsive in addressing every issue and am grateful for their attention. Matt and Nic have done a great job as Pulte representatives.

We love our house! There were a few minor cosmetic issues but any issues we had were responded to quickly. Our construction manager Sean Crittenden was great and explained things every step of the way.

We live 1,500 miles away from Tampa, so the majority of the building experience was remote/virtual. The Pulte staff were great- we received weekly updates with pictures from Daniel, our site manager, and we completed the closing by mail. Ten few issues we had were addressed in a very timely fashion.

The whole experience from the salesperson, to design center consult to the celebration walk-through was a wonderful experience.

It was difficult applying stars because where there were issues a 1 would apply. Firstly our major complaint is we are very upset about the symbiotic relationship between your subcontractors Uxari (security and sound system) and Coast to Coast Pool (pump) with the internet provider Blue Stream’s system. We moved in November 13th and are still experiencing major issues with the technology provided by both vendors. We spent $30K for our Uxari system and $69K for our pool with IQPump. 1/7th of the cost our $708K home has failed. My husband and I have spoke with and met with all three stakeholders several times and what we really need is the expert that set up the Pulte contracts with these subcontractors to facilitate a legitimate smart home without our intense intervention. Our next issue is with painting. Pulte fired the painters that worked on our home and it has been a bit labor intensive getting a redo and compensation for a known issue. And the last major issue is we had 2 broken and poorly installed toilets one was replaced and one we are still dealing with. ... More

Quality of workmanship/materials needs improvement

I would recommend Pulte Home to all my family and friends. I have good experience and a satisfying results

The sales team and project managers are great, but things went downhill after closing. The quality of vendors/trades used to work on this home were of a low quality. The drywall is sloppy, my slider leaks/is missing panels to keep insects out and there is debris on top of all of my cabinets. There is paint all over my carpet and upstairs window exteriors. The warranty representatives are not helpful. I work in the home building industry and truly disappointed in my experience.

We loved our sales person and our contractor before we bought was awesome. After we bought, it has been so hard to get anyone to respond: we had issues with broken glass doors, cabinets not installed well. Two months in no one has showed up to fix them. Multiple shelves with damage in the kitchen (the guy who installed them should be fired). Now we have backup of sewage and after frantically calling, very rude plumbing contractor (pulte’s) came. We can’t use our toilets or take showers much less wash clothes or dishes. We spent a fortune for this house and I can tell you builders with half this price have way better quality, workmanship and follow up. ... More

I love the home but a lot of additional expense because Pulte refused to do change orders that would have been so simple to do and I raised them day one, more than 45 days before the build began on my home, so there is no way they should not have accommodated my requests! You need to ask questions up front because they will do nothing once you sign the contract. My first time experiencing this and it is my 4th new construction home. My lower rating overall is 100 percent tied to the corporate office and their policies.

Firstly the locale, solid durability and the value are top on my list! Please know that I looked at every builder around here! Located close to St. Petersburg, Florida, where new homes directly in St. Petersburg are in the 6 to 7 hundred thousand dollar range, Pulte delivers a modern, functional and sturdy home for hundreds of thousands of dollars less than those home builders in St. Petersburg! Why should I spend every cent I have on a place to live comfortably? Second, the site manager, Zach and his boss (I forgot his name) are thorough when they are creating my 'punch list' to be rectified before I closed! Lastly, the one thing I was confused with was the discount pricing at point of sale. Leslie is knowledgeable and has a ton of experience; but I still was and am a bit confused as to the pricing. It seemed difficult to wrap my brain around one price with a line drawn through it, then it's a lesser price (which is great) but then there are incentives which a buyer can apply in differing ways. I would say that I'm pretty good at math, being a former IV additives technician, but even I was confused. Otherwise, I love this house. I am older and I feel as though I can live here near my children and when it comes time, I can have in home help or move! The amenities are superior. I expected buying a Pulte home would. be the same. as the Pulte home I just sold. Nothing could be further from the truth. The house is wonderful. The construction is wonderful. I gates did not work but they were fixed quickly. The. community center is not ready. The HOA is not ready. All things will be fixed in time. I understand that, and the price was right...

I recently purchased a new home in Arbor Oaks. Overall I am very happy with the home. I do think the quality of the workman ship could improve. Even after inspecting the home before we closed and having a lot of cosmetic issue's fixes we are still finding a lot more that need to be fixed. Most of what we are finding is just sloppy work. Pulte is very responsible to getting items fixed but if they were to do a better quality job to start there would not be a need to come back to make these repairs.

Have had a few issues, largest being that the fence around the property was torn down in the last hurricane - back in October. Being told construction on a new one won't even begin until January. 3 months without a fence when we're paying to be in a "gated community". Also were told no damage to our roof in the storm (we were out of town) only to find out - by accident - weeks later that a section of our roof had been torn off. Overall, Pulte has been pretty responsive when repair requests have been made, and we've had a couple. Overall, we love the home - at least we WILL once we have a fence back up! ... More
