This home building experience was different than my previous two. It seemed that Pulte was more concerned with meeting deadlines than making sure the homeowner was happy. We have submitted several repair request that could have been avoided if the closing date wasn't the number one priority. Overall we are happy to be in our home but extremely dissatisfied with the process.

Pulte quality and finish is very lacking . Internal finishes not great . Brickwork on driveways and porches are like armature brick layers . Painting & drywall could really use a more neat finishers . Overall I will rate the home @6out of 10 .

I wish they would not rush closing and complete homes on time fully. Many items left unfinished and rushed through

overall was a good 3xperience, had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to postpone my closing due to contingency home contract fall apart, also the workmanship is not as good as other builders at least on the finishes and some structural, responsiveness to the issues I have is not good, still have issues and warranty request was put over a month now and nothing done

Received a brand new home that doesn't look new at all. A lot of details missing, on top of a terrible paint job on both the inside and outside of the house. Entrance to the house was never pressure washed by the time we close on the property and lets not even talk about the terrible cleaning job both inside and outside the house. Truly disappointed, and already to late!

Quality of workmanship is mediocre. I had a contractor come to repaint the walls to my colors. At that time they found that some of the walls were not straight and had a slight bow in them. There were some other issues that were pulled out by independent survey team that found various other issues as well, most of these were addressed by the Pulte team and fixed very quickly.

The paint used is way to cheap for what you pay for. You can just look at the wall the wrong way and it marks up. There should be an upgrade on the paint.

Even though we like the quality of workmanship in our home, the closeness to the airport should have been taken into consideration. Indoor airplane noise is bad for one's health. I believe simple things should have be done in the home to minimize/reduce this noise. I would like to know what can be done to this end. You don't want to be in bed and hear loud plane noiwe landing or taking off. How does one enjoy the courtyard? In addition, it does take a while for a technician to respond to issues and when scheduled, some do not show up.

Overall, we are very pleased with the home and its quality. Sales and construction process went very smoothly, however some warranty work has been slow to respond for repairs.

Very good experience from the start. Very friendly people to work with. Closed on June 14 and waiting on a couple of punch list items. Could be more responsive in this area. Overall a very positive experience.

Great floor plans and prime location. Process of building was good, but attention to detail by subcontractors was seriously lacking. At this price point, we expected much more from Pulte. Overall, great people to work with and happy to call this Pulte house a home.

I definitely would advise anyone buying with Pulte, at least the team I worked with, do NOT accept closing agreements or promises. We've been closed for a little over a month and we're still trying to make progress on most of the items that were 'promised' to be taken care of right after closing if we agreed to close on time. All of the pressure and quick responses pre-close made us think they would continue to work in our interest, but overall this has not been true. Almost immediately after I submitted a favorable review, the construction management have pushed follow-up on to the warranty advisor and the vendors and it is entirely up to me to stay on top of them. Things that were on Pulte's own pre-close list are still not done (like clamping down an electrical pipe or finishing paint) even after I've followed up twice. The overall quality for the cost is also just extremely disappointing. So many corners were cut and are already showing themselves, such as bad caulking, poor painting finishes (or completely unfinished) chips in glass, incorrect vent installation, and so-on. I will say that Pulte did well with communication and follow-up during construction, but when it came down to the wire there were so many punch list things that just were not addressed. I brought a lot of them up and they said they would handle them, but again almost immediately after we closed we have struggled to get appropriate action taken. This is further complicated now that we've moved in and I'm worried some of this will never get fixed and we paid WAY above market for the size and quality of this production home. ... More

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the on-site builder manager, Ryan. Despite multiple attempts to contact him over several days, he didn't answer my calls. When I finally managed to reach him via message, I was shocked to hear him say that he's not a handyman and can't visit my house. All I wanted was for him to stop by and take a look at an issue with one of my equipment. Unfortunately, the problem remains unresolved due to the lack of concern from anyone.

I bought a new brand new house for $800K and in less than 2 weeks of receiving and haven't even moved there and I found a significant water leak in one of the bathroom, haven't the entire wall to be damaged and full of mold, cousin me a big disruption on my plans to move in.

Overall craftsmanship of the home was poor. Can tell everything is mass produced and rushed. Minimal attention to detail. Had to do multiple warranty visits which was a slow process with slow response times, had to escalate everything. Pricing for some of the upgrades were out of control. WIsh we had some different upgrade options and ability to change some things, like kitchen pantry and closet shelfing. The process of actually buying the home, closing, and sales team were great!

In general so many issues with painting e port finishing a on the walls,stairs, windows, and garage floor. Disappointed

The overall purchasing experience was good. Modifications are not allowed after the given time, even if it's by a day or two. Fine, it's understandable. The overall quality for the price set is extremely disappointing. Carpet areas were not clean and the carpet placed on top of whatever was on the floor. The appliances had a similar outcome, when removed to clean floors, there was material left over underneath them. The kitchen cabinetry has wasted space in the corner areas. The modules touch one another leaving an empty space in between that could have been used should a corner cabinetry have been used instead. A week after moving in, the patio sliding door stopped working and wouldn't close at all. The emergency after hour customer service was horrible and unhelpful. A month later and the door is still to be fixed. Attempting on a 3rd appointment, all which have been a no show. Anyhow, I could continue, but you get the idea...... It can be better! There is such a rush to just close on the homes to finish the project that the little things get dismissed. ... More

Overall it was good. Teresa was great to work with in sales, Really listened to what you were looking for and what your range was. Also gave great ideas to your future home.

Homebuying experience is good sales consultant is helpful in showing houses, builders are not able to reapond properly when there are issues in the first 30 days of closing Builder gives so many false hopes for the open issues , but never reapond after closing

We were reminded several times by numerous employees of Pulte that Pulte is not a custom builder.

Working with the sales team was excellent, great communication and response time, and hence why I chose to build with Pulte. The build started great and promised excellent communication throughout the build. (Did not appreciate that they assumed/always sent a translator; I was born and raised in the US so unnecessary). I visited nearly every week and was able to have major issues addressed during the build (ie cailing tray not installed or wrong accent tile). However, when it came to the celebration walk through, I was promised all details we agreed upon/labeled to have fixed would be addressed before the actual walkthrough/closing and they were not. I was told at the official walk through to go to closing and that items would be fixed and came back and they were not. I was promised that submitting to warranty I would get a response in 24 hours particularly right after build (obviously would take time the further out from closing) and it has not. The tile cuts are uneven on tiles, scratches and glue left on bathroom and floor tiles, the serial numbers on the bathroom tiles show past the grout, light switch panels left crooked, holes in the stucco and drywall, the HVAC unit was even a basic model when the top of the line unit was agreed on... Having paid quite a generous amount in upgrades, I expected top notch workmanship and attention to details. So very poorly managed and rushed so that we could close and promised the world it would be near perfect at closing but a lot left to be desired. Also, they have you make selections early on and penalize you if you change your mind later so know exactly what you want quickly and early on as per their deadline. Additionally, I was not told until closing that I could only use a hairdryer/flat iron/iron in the main bed/bathroom due to "code" and wattage maximums but I wish I would have been told that earlier since what happens when I have guests over and now have to have them move to the master bed/bathroom instead of their guest room? Very uninviting. My extended family is also building with Pulte since we started off great with Pulte but now they know to not close until all items are addressed as promised. So, overall, I would recommend their build, I would just highly recommend making sure it all looks to your order requests before closing. Obviously small details will remain after closing and warranty will work with you, at their ability, but the amount of gross deficits before closing is something you should look out for since they are difficult to get attention to later on. ... I was pleased with the price but the workmanship was left to be desired. There is still painting that needs to be done we need new carpets because the worked got paint on them.

There are many issues that we have found after closing and one that is still open prior to closing. I have followed up with several emails about my kitchen vent cover, drawer and lazy Suzanne and no-one has set a date to come out to fix it. Prior to closing we were told it would be around January 7 (we closed on 12/28). It's now 2/15 and 3 emails following up and nothing back. The missing tiles in our bathroom shower is still outstanding and we haven't heard back after the tiler came out. We have a hole in our master bedroom door that we did not see during the walk through as you had to close the door to see it. There is a list of items but Pulte has not followed through after closing. Very disappointing! ... More

We liked the school in our neighborhood and the home was built with reliable materials.
