Overall we had good experience. What we did not enjoy was the options we got to select in design center. Pulte definitely add more options as it gives way less to choose as compared to any other builder of this scale.

Working with our construction manager, Robert was great. He was kind and helpful. Once you are moved in, it seems that it takes a bit longer to get things addressed, but they get done.

During COVID we were trying to close on our house. The sales team and Project manager were very helpful in making everything go smoothly

Slow response prior to and after purchase. Questions were sometimes ignored or took several weeks to hear back. Never heard from the field manager during the entire build.

This is our second new home through Pulte. So far, we have been happy with our purchase. Pulte does a good job building. The finish has left a few flaws, but we are certain Pulte will handle. My only concern is that the neighborhood should only have so many rentals, but have noticed that atleast six rentals surrounding my home. This should not have been allowed.

Have found lots of paint spots on tile floors and carpet. Painters need to work cleaner especially in a finished house. Also we were told professional cleaners would get house spotless. They need to look for this type of stuff new home owners shouldn't have to do this.

Nice house

The overall build of the home was good. The issue was in the response times to minor repairs. There was often a delay of a week or more for simple repairs like drywall fixes, painting touch-ups, etc. What REALLY makes me question Pulte is what we discovered in our house about a month after owning it. At the time we purchased the home, we didn't notice anything, however gradually over a month of ownership we noticed a growing persistent odor permeating from the ceiling. It got so bad that we had to do something about it! We thought at first it was mold but after 5 days of waiting and investigations, I was discovered that there was a DEAD CAT that had bodily fluids all over the ceiling rotting above one of our rooms! Needless to say, we have been out of our house living in a hotel for about a week while remediation takes place. Pulte has not offered any compensation for our trouble and has not considered the amount of work I had to miss to manage this process. Pulte financial services were the best! Always in contact with UR best interests first.

This process was mostly seamless minimal hiccups. The sales team is very prompt and responsive, the field manager was very responsive and easy to reach. We had a third party inspection prior to close which found very few issues. My only complaint is that after move in, if there are still issues that need to be addressed, they don’t respond as quickly and are slow to Address those issues so my recommendation is to have everything fixed and addressed before move in and closing.

Boulder should make sure that all cables are working. As I have lived there for almost 2 months with no Internet connection available. I’m not sure who’s responsible however cable was broken under the street and I am now waiting for a city approval to fix that issue.

Focus on electricity condition

Nice house but pricey for what you get.

Pulte is a solid builder. You need to stay engaged and make sure communication is clear. Would be great if they would be reasonable with design center pricing and options. We did very little during the process and had to spend nearly 20% of the purchase price to get a nice home. Doing quite a bit of work after we moved in because it was not possible to do with pulte during construction.

The home is great however the paint and some small details are needing to be fixed. The paint comes off easily on the walls. There are some issues with walls having weird curves and bulges. The main concern is I was never told there would be such a steep driveway which is an annoying issue and for someone with a bad back adds additional issues.
