Lennar - While the home is great and really happy with it.

While the home is great and really happy with it. Many things were not considered. The quality of materials used is pretty low for the $$ of the home. Also when the shower was extended, there clearly wasn’t much though put into how people use it. There should of been an extended master double vanity of there and a slightly smaller walk in shower. Also tile looks unfinished without it going to top of half wall and to the shower head. Also there is no closet space for linens and towels which is odd in this size home to not have a single closet for linens.

Easy buying process

The buying process was very easy. Everyone very friendly. The seller was awesome! The only down fall is make sure you get everything in writing. When i say that i mean any extra things they say they will do, such as, cutting existing trees, cleaning the sidewalk or driveway of paint splatter or pieces of cement left. When my grass was laid my fence was damaged and never replaced.

Multiple issues that took some time to fix. Slow response time. Paint is poor quality and they do the bare minimum. We moved into a smart house but it was a dumb house for a couple weeks due to no communication from builders and subs needed to hook everything up.

As long as your issues are within your 30 days of moving in are taken care of you’ll have no problem. I can’t say 100% but it seems like any work order you put in after your 30 days of moving in “isn’t covered “ grant it my issues were a little unconventional but I really hope I don’t need my warranty because I feel I might have a lot of problems.

Overall good experience, did get the closing date moved a few times but that is inevitable sometimes. One thing I wish they would’ve actually mentioned is the sod in the backyard is not all the way included, it is in the brochure but there’s so much information on it it get overlooked. The loan officers were very patient, really went out of their way to make as easy as they could, the seller was also great.

As a new home buyer, while under construction I would like to select certain things, like flooring preferences/colors, etc. With these homes you cannot make any changes.

It’s not the same as Arizona Lennar!

We bought a Lennar home in Arizona and we were very pleased about the quality of the home. Our experience in Texas has not been the same. Not one towel rack in 3 bathrooms. No loop in the garage for installing water softener or water filtration system. No refrigerator or laundry washer or dryer. No hooks in bathroom. Over $8000 in expenses. Plus no garage door opener or painted walls in the garage. No baseboards in the garage as well. I’m sure all these things left out will have an immense impact on Lennar’s bottom line. And no window covering over the back door. We use paper taped over the ...

My only request during the whole home buying process was for the house to be cleaned prior to closing. During my initial tour of the home there was paint splatters/spills on the floors and in the showers, which I was told would be cleaned up prior to closing. The paint was still there during the new home celebration, and once again, I was told the house would be cleaned prior to closing. Needless to say, none of the paint was cleaned up when I picked up the keys after closing. Disappointed that they didn’t do the only thing I requested. Home buying process was very simple and quick!

Not everything I was told is how it really happened. Everything I was told that would be included with my monthly payment in escrow with separated from the actual payment so all my bills are all over the place and I had to hunt down everything that I’m going to be paying so that I do not forget to pay something only use my house such as insurance taxes HOA fees were all supposed to be included with my monthly mortgage payment. I’m very disappointed and just a month and a half after purchase I get hit with more cost that I was not anticipating they can do better.

There is no changing anything, very thankful I was able to purchase my own home but hindsight maybe I should of looked around first. Garage door cracked while trying to install a security lock, inside of the drywall facing windows had to be repaired before blinds could be added. was told I would receive 1 tree in the front and two in the back just to find out others were told the same but the two in the back would not happen even with emails and text correspondence. now I'm coming up on week three waiting on the HOA to give the permission. no faucet on the backside of the house of which I ...

In the beginning stages of the home buying process I was appointed Sabrina as my home buyer concierge. I was informed I would contact her for any of the home buying process and needs for scheduling and working the process. Working with her was very unprofessional. I called her multiple times for different issues such as scheduling and trying to confirm dates and times for things such as the blue tape walk and closing date. She was unresponsive to multiple phone calls with no intention to call or respond back. She texted me one day after calling her multiple times in the morning and said ...

The overall process was very easy. Everything was pretty much done online at the convenience of own time on my phone such as the closing documents was done on my phone, so that was pretty neat. I would honestly say that these homes are built very cheap. The materials and labor that go into the home can be so much better. It’s like they are instructed to get the cheapest materials possible for everything that goes into your home but charge the homeowner an arm and a leg for the mortgage. Other than that, my Collier home is a pretty decent home for a couple or very small family.

The only item that made this buy less than wonderful was the broken timeline promises and that was only caused by poor workmanship. Time and time again we had to postpone our move due to items that were either incomplete or poorly executed. Seems like pride in workmanship is a thing of the past in new built homes. Had things been done right at the beginning, we would have met our deadlines. Also, it would have been nice to receive some sort of follow-up from our salesman. Once we signed the paperwork for the purchase, we never heard back from him. The items that needed attention after ...

I walked into a home I bought online and when I did see it in person I was not happy, there wasn't any grass in the yard, and inside it's as if it was done by a someone in a rush and was cross-eyed, I woke up to a pile of ants and a few spiders and when I went to talk to someone about it was told that it's my home so I would have to deal with it, and this was after living in there for 3 days, a front driveway that has a crack across three panels that I still have to pay full price for, no back pad that I can grill on, cabinets that hits the walls and flooring that was done without care, ...

I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

I honestly wish that I was giving a better review, but I haven’t had the most pleasant Closing on my home. The closing process went pretty smoothly but I’ve been running into issue after issue after moving into this house. It does on some things, and things were overlooked on inspection, which does not make me the most comfortable because it makes me question what else was overlooked or rushed. I’ll be honest and say that I’m not sure I would go with this builder again and I don’t know what things can be done to fix the continuous inconveniences I’ve had.

Family and I chose Lennar due to the growing presence in the SA community. We love our first home, but regardless of being a first time owner or subsequent owner the overall quality of the home is worrisome. From nails in the window frames to missing caulking throughout the home, the house was painted wrong then repainted the correct color with lack of attention to detail, frame can be seen outlined through the sheet rock, slanted window, and nearly every door frame was installed by the world heaviest hammer (broken sheet rock). It’s either move in and get things fixed post closing or don’t ...
