For the most part it went well.

Brooke sold me my new home and is absolutely amazing to work with. My complaint is with Lennar. I informed Lennar of an issue regarding the home pulling in to much electricity and they said everything was working great. I received a 331 dollar electric bill and I reached out to the customer service representative and was told he was waiting for a response from his bosses. I have not heard anything about Lennar assisting with this bill.

I would definitely suggest looking a the home prior to purchase, that ble tape walk thru is a MUST DO.Make sure you get it in writing that house will be CLEANED prior to move in. Make sure that you get it in writing that AFTER they place sod in your yard, they will come back and clean the dirt/mud mess off your sidewalk and driveway. There were just things that were left unexplained, and still aren't clear. This is a HOA neighborhood, so you'd expect to not have solicitors, however, for the first 15 to 20 days after closing, you will be bombarded with AT&T, security system, vacuum cleaner sales, water softener, solar panel, etc sales people. Walk right past the NO SOLICITORS SIGN, don't wanna talk I'm not interested as an answer. I was so aggervated trying to unpack and move it from the solicitors. Just do ypur homework, be picky, make them have follow-up, because if you let 1 thing slide they definitely know you are giving in too easy. ... More

The contractors are not working with quality in the constructions cheap ,materials, but it's ok

First home. Priced where I needed it. They’re quick to respond for work orders, but depending on what you need will depend on how condescending some of the vendors you have to use or field people are with concerns. Quite a few things were ignored on final walk through and still problematic and/or will be within the next year. Almost died from a gas leak the plumber blamed rhe HVAC and builder for and in the same breath said it was my fault for calling the gas company instead of them. For the most part, you get what you paid for.

I don't now recall the name of our builder rep because we never met him. Tim was there in his stead the whole time. Tim was great! The warranty rep was nice and responsive as well. The sale rep was also kind and helpful. I will say that the choice of using regrettably cheap paint, the state of the garage (inside) left by the builders, unfortunate choice and handling of the sod, and drops of paint left on my carpet was not cool. My ultimate negative issue is that of only having ONE external hose. It is inane that there is not one on the opposite corner or at least one in the back yard. What a huge inconvenience for the homeowner. I would expect better quality paint, appliances above the cheapest option, and a bit more care put into the garage walls and water spout placement. ... Everything was good except my bathroom somebody used it and didn't even bothered cleaning it up, place was very dusty, no shower rod in master bathroom but guest bathroom has one, and some scratch marks on the wall. I guess all in all everything is good.

It's a decent home.

Home looks fine, but sloppy builds. cabinets are not leveled, cabinet door rubs against base when opening, a lot of edges need caulk as there’s small cracks, paint thinned/cracks on top of walls. Tons of smaller details. No window screens, no fans, and little things they can do to improve. Overall good experience, but could definitely step it up for a better review!

I was so excited to find a home that fit my budget. The floor plan was perfect. The location convenient for shopping and providing easy access to local events and entertainment options. Reality set in. Quality of home, once I remembered I wasn't in the luxury market, is acceptable. Pay attention when you do your final walkthrough to minimize return visits from the trades to fix issues. Quality of appliances that were included were entry level builders models. Be prepared to buy your own refrigerator and laundry appliances. Lennar builds homes at a variety of levels. I'm sure their more expensive models include bells and whistles - that's built into the price. I'm grateful they also have a product for those with lower resources who can still have something to be happy to own. ... More

In the beginning with the walk through things was great. Afterwards a different story. Disappointed with the overall general contractors making sure that the workers did a thorough and complete job on things that needed cleaning up. Will have to do the job myself on touch ups that looked not so clean. Cleaning crew did a halfway job on a very nice new build home look it's best. Had an issue with new stove provided by Lennar and called the customer care personnel never got a follow-up call to see if my issue was resolved. On a positive note. The sales consultant and the financial personnels was fabulous. They made the process simple and stress free. The rest need to take pointers from this part of the team. I am very satisfied with the builder's responsiveness, attention, and service. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the quality of the house. I am currently experiencing electrical problems with my panel, which has been quite concerning.

Our home was delivered on time, but with shoddy workmanship. paint droppings on the flooring and carpeting (everywhere). It was supposed to be cleaned before closing, it was not. The carpet was filthy, garage was a mess and there was fecal matter on one of the toilets (not ours)!

Build quality seems to be done as cheaply as possible. All interior items are builder grade or low end. Only one outside faucet is also example of cost cutting measures. One disappointment was the poor installation of the sod for the homes yard. Soil prep was poorly done and I have to keep removing rocks under the sod, causing it to lay unevenly. Cannot evaluate all aspects of build quality at this early date. Will see how everything holds up over time Lennar employees were friendly and helpful during the purchasing process. Projected closing and inspection dates were all met.

I had looked at several different homes and builders before purchasing my Lennar. The layout and the price was comparable to some of the others, but look closely at what you want and what the home offers. The selling process was maybe to quick and easy but it definitely worked for me. When you purchase a home make sure when completing the walk through before closing, make sure you know everything you want to about the house, what comes with it and what you have purchase after closing. There was no time for my realtor had time to review the home and make an offer. The sales person should be more interested in showing and explaining everything!! Mine lacked in doing that and so leave room for the extras that didn’t come with the home. If there would have been more time taken to explain this is what comes with the home and what doesn’t, very confusing. Also you have to buy your own refrigerator so why not purchase your own appliance package to make sure you get what you want. Or at least offer the option. After all is said and done I really love my home and would purchase another but with a much better sales person!! ... More

I disliked that the side of the house the ground is not flat, even the backyard and front yard. There is no waterholes in the backyard only on the side of the house. Disliked that they didn’t cover the entire backyard with grass. Disliked that the house didn’t come with a microwave only a stove. They used cheaper lights.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for the original punch list to be completed well after a month of us closing on our home. Many items that needed to be addressed were never completed. The new home on the day of closing was filthy inside and the driveway was very muddy.

Overall Lennar is a decent home builder, but there is room for improvements. Especially in quality of workmanship where it’s lacking attention to details.

So my home did not come with a garage door opener, so I had one professionally installed so now I am told since 'Lennar' did not install it my garage door is no longer under warranty. FYI, before I moved in it has a 'catch' about halfway up they said they fixed, but they did not...and now well my door is no longer under warranty so I guess it is my problem now

This is our second home with Lennar and mostly had smooth experience through out the home buying process. Worked again with Joseph (sales), Leslie (loan officer) and Tony (escrow officer) from Lennar who were able to walk thru the closing process seamlessly and was able to answer all our questions in timely manner. Only issue we had was with Nicole from construction team during closing who won’t communicate neither respond to messages nor calls and had hard time getting details.

My wife and me are entering our 2nd month of ownership and I can only give 3 stars for overall satisfaction. I feel the title I've given this post is correct. First, Lennar's advertising for their homes is very misleading. The Web Site claims you get everything you need at move-in You Do Not. Not to give anything away but I paid over $270 thousand for our home and It Did Not even come with towel racks in the bathrooms nor did it come with lighting over the vanities. You would think for that price these small amenities would be standard. They are not. This alone should give you ,the potential buyer, what you are in for with a Lennar home. This home is my 8th home I've purchased in my life, in every case the home I bought had a refrigerator and microwave, this Lennar home Did Not. Profit over Quality should be the Lennar motto. Well first off the price was kinda steep, didn’t even get pre- plumbing for a water softener, no garage door opener not even ceiling fans for the owners suite or the living room. Then they just put together a wooden step in the back yard for when you walk out to the backyard, very cheap.
