Walk through is rushed and it's obvious no one from Lennar walks the home before closing. Was told floors would be cleaned but 3 months later I'm still unable to get white paint off the floor. No help for that or significant cracking in door frames and baseboards because that apparently is cosmetic. If I could do it all over again I would insist on a 2nd walk through and be more diligent to ensure issues were fixed before closing.

We asked for a previously offered counter top, Granite, in our master bath. You would have thought we requested the holy grail. they acted like they "might" be able to do it during the 9 months build time but ultimately didn't get it done. I have expressed my disappointment over this issue multiple times with Lennar.......no response or follow up, they don't care. Love the home, don't like the service.

Before closing, there were several finishing issues, including the most horrendous tape and bed job I’ve ever seen, that the contractors were very hesitant and seemingly annoyed to complete. After asking what the next steps were if it wasn’t right before closing, we were basically told “we’ll give you a different house and sell this to someone who won’t notice”. After closing it has been almost impossible to get a hold of anyone to help us with the issues we continue to find with the finishing work in the house. I recently purchased a home, and I must say I'm quite disappointed with the workmanship. There are several noticeable flaws throughout the property that were overlooked during construction. The finishing touches seem rushed, and the overall quality falls short of what I expected for the price I paid. I've encountered problems with electrical outlets, and even some structural concerns. It's frustrating to deal with these issues so soon after moving in. I hope the builders can address these problems promptly, as it's been a rather unpleasant start to my homeownership journey."

This purchase was more of a have to than a want to. Lennar was difficult to deal with. They are absolute in their process, with no latitude for the buyer. I also found the company representatives to be less than trustworthy. Watch your backside!

Poor quality home and non responsive to issues

Before we moved in it was very attentive to my needs, which should have been done before I had to pick them out. Not little scratches on walls but Sprinkler lines broke and spraying water in the air, doors jammed shut and was hard to open. Air handler doors off... No lights in a closet. As of 2 months later still nothing is fixed. I had to have a sprinkler guy come stop the water being wasted running down the street. Im pretty sure I will not be buying another Lennar home .

So there’s a reason all the inspectors have a running joke about Lennar homes- because the blue tape walkthroughs are a joke. An entire cabinet in my kitchen is currently cracked completely in half. They installed it that way! The paint on my walls chips off if a fly lands on it. The workers are loud, messy, and lazy. There’s no standards on who they will hire as long as they do it fast, Lennar doesn’t care. My lawn is full of sunflowers from workers spitting seeds everywhere and construction trash is constantly in my yard. The “landscaping” is awful- the 3 bushes they planted are completely ...

The floor plan is beautiful but the workmanship is lacking. It is like Lennar dropped every door before putting them in and they rushed on touch ups, using the wrong paint in many cases. They lack attention to detail. They also outsource their work and there doesn’t seem to be much oversight or quality control.

Once the contract to purchase was signed it was all downhill from there. My contact onsite never kept the commitments he made to reach out. He and the loan rep at Lennar Mortgage didn't communicate with each other. The loan rep never reached out unless I pestered him. The time and location for the doc signing was arbitrarily set and had to be rearranged at the last minute. After move it there has been many issues - range has gas smell, grading of the landscape causing ponding, doorbell doesn't work, the sprinklers are not set up correctly, and more - none of which has been addressed. Home quality is in par but the overall process was just a nightmare. There is a lack of coordination between departments and as a seller i had to constantly follow up on the process. Mortgage was also a pain to deal with. Every person needed hand holding to get me to close. It maybe because we were one of the first few movers in the community but i hope they fix the process.

I regret buying this home. Every single day, I regret it. There are so many hidden poor craftsman issues that I find. From ceiling light covers randomly falling, to ethernet ports being installed the wrong way, to THE worst floors I have ever had the displeasure of having.
