First things first - love my home. It meets all my needs and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Lennar delivered what they promised, on time. The reason I took off couple of stars is because of response delays during the home buying process. There were 3+weeks that both my real estate agent and I struggled to get answers and an updated closing estimate from Lennar. On the positive side, once they started working with me (last week before closing), the answers and updates happened quickly and efficiently. For everything else, Lennar did what they said they will do, when they promised it. Frankly, a "will happen in last week before closing" response would have worked better than current experience of asking repeatedly and not getting responses. ... More

The whole financial department of Lennar was absolutely horrible, very unorganized, changing fees last minute and adding in costs at closing to where I was almost not able to close.

The floor plans are amazing. The space inside the home is incredible. I love it.

It was great! It worked out!

The appliances had issues and it took a few weeks to get sorted out, twice the contractor was a no show no call, I had to live out of a cooler for 2 week because the refrigerator didn't work, the workmanship was very poor, just to name a few items the kitchen wall socket is slanted , tile in several rooms have bad cuts , corners could've been measured better for a cleaner look

Communication was a big problem with lenders Lennar could have given more basic upgrades in the home like garage door opener, ceiling fans, coat closet, towel bars in bathrooms, back patio and over hang on back door. These are basic upgrades for any home. Now I'm having to purchase these items myself at an extra cost.

Had a number of issues involving keys. Found out after over two weeks they had given me the wrong mailbox key and my back door key didn’t work. Also had a footprint in the concrete right in front of the front door. Though these issues eventually got fixed, I would’ve thought these would definitely have been done before before the walk-through.

Everything felt very disorganized, starting with the salesperson, who was unprofessional. I always had to be the one to reach out, and even then, calls often went unanswered, or I had to leave several messages before getting a response. Another issue is that I had already paid the deposit on the closing day, yet they forgot to transfer the money to the home insurance company. I only found out when I received a cancellation notice from the insurance, and I had to keep contacting them repeatedly to push them to resolve it. Promises were not kept. Loan process was great. Walk through not so great.

We loved the home and we consider ourselves pretty easy customers but working with Bryan the sales consultant was terrible, we were never able to get a hold of him after he got out earnest money. We liked the construction process not the people running it that is just trying to build homes and don’t care about the details

Lennar does not care about new home owners after the exact day of closure.

Everyone was wonderful except the mortgage side. No communication blamed me for all the problems asked repeatedly for items they already had rude to me my gpa my attorney horrible stressful experience with the mortgage company

The loan officer made the experience almost impossible to comprehend because of the demands and mismanagement along with the lack of communication skills.

Personnel very polite but not easy to get in touch with. Call backs sometimes are a day or 2 out from your request. Had to send same documents several times. Once all requirements were met, everything went smoothly.

Everything was great with our on site representatives. Got some great deals but the entire underwriting and closing process was a nightmare. The communication was absolutely awful.

The whole experience was not at easy as i though.

Simple home built as cookie cutter house. Will do for my purpose.

Buying process was quick and reasonable. Everyone before purchase was friendly and informative but it was a complete mess afterwards with no one to communicate with when issues arose.

I had a disappointing experience with this labor warranty. The quality of their work was subpar, with noticeable labor issues. When I requested and submitted a repair ticket, they refused to address the problems and gave excuses instead. I expected better service and responsibility for their workmanship

In buying my last new home, It was a roller coaster ride experience! I was not allowed to experience the joy of buying a new home! I started to quit the process several times but was begged by my son who lives here to continue the process. I moved from New Orleans and have bought six homes and this was my worst experience of them all! I am getting to like it now but I was angry when I moved here because of the experience I went through. With my credit and income it should not have been that way!

1st time buying from the builder. Was very confusing and people are not very helpful.

Overall, I’d say the experience was well but very overwhelming. A lot of back-and-forth, which is to be expected with a huge decision to purchase a home. With Lennar being a giant production builder it’s understandable that things don’t always go as planned, but their processes are streamline and issues end up getting worked out. So far we’re loving being in our new house and appreciate the opportunity to buy with Lennar. As of 2 months after closing our experiences are nowhere near what a lot of the negative experiences are that are posted online. We have a lot of good things to say, but there are also some drawbacks. Workmanship is subpar to say the least, there are obvious corners that have been cut, but nonetheless, they built homes fast for wide variety of people and families. Be ready to be on your computer 24-7 with no excuses, your life will stop because they need things as ASAP with no excuses, even if you are driving, at home with your family!!!!!! they make you feel you need them or I don't know what was the point of doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there are some basic things that needed to be included in these homes that Lennar does not. I think glass shower doors and maybe ceiling fans should be the basics in homes in Texas. I also think the team that builds the homes could use a little more supervision I won’t get into that. Other than that the homes are nice which they build more in other spaces affordable homes because all cities in Dfw need affordable homes not just in the outskirts.

Loan officer was very inexperienced and could reply to questions. At last experienced loan officer explained things better. Also faced that questions were answered late than expected. Overall experience is good, but could be better .
