Poor quality. Some of the cabinet doors didn't install properly, floors make a squeaky noise.

Lack of quality in workmanship (paint, alignment, quality finishes, etc)

It doesn't appear that the construction team did a quality check/inspection on all the sub-contractor work. Since we moved in this past January, we have had several visits from contractors to repair/finish work that should've been completed before closing. Cracks in windows, unfinished paint jobs, drywall issues. It is very noticeable to see the poor workmanship and lack of quality in how the work was supervised. We were not expecting to have all these issues within the first three months of living in a brand new home.

Flooring feels like it's coming up, wall paint peels off by wiping it, caulking on floor peels, bunch of nails, screws, papers, plastic, etc that has came up just by leveling the dirt in my backyard, paint on windows, back sliding door wouldn't stay on tracks for about 2 weeks.. I asked for help once and will never ask again.. nor do I want a follow up email or reply!

The communication throughout this whole process has been terrible. The building of the home was a total rush job. The NHO was a disaster. 2 more walkthroughs were needed to make sure all the repairs and touchups were done. I will never work with Lennar again

It wasn't perfect

If I didn't have an amazing Realtor this would have been an even worse experience. My best advice is really do your research on materials because the options they provide (carpet,tile etc)never look the same once installed. I will be having many things replaced (windows and doors) some things were just thrown together in the build. Better communication with their lender would also improve the process

They lied about the HOA, and a pool and club house.

The home and value of the home is good. The people. We worked with are lying sacks of scum. They didn’t explain the Master HOA. They lied about a pool and clubhouse just to get us to buy. Good home, dishonest workers!

Felt like my concerns during build were brushed aside. Have lived here for a few months and still finding things that are weird/not straight, clumps of texture that we didn't catch on walk thru. Floor plan is great. Located near schools. Probably would try not to buy from lennar again. Someday could be a good rental property.

How condescending and demeaning the loan process was. How I thought I would be getting certain things in my home and didn’t. The poor craftsmanship and cheap materials from which the homes are built. The lack of security on the construction site during construction and after.

The lies

I will not be recommending lennar to anyone. The experience of buying a new hour was ruined by Leeca and John B. I was appalled at the way they treated and talked to me throughout the whole process. It was bad. My realtor is not even taking clients to lennar anymore.

Don’t hold there trades to high quality standards of craftsmanship. My backyard is so lumpy & ungraded my I almost sprang my ankle when chasing my kid around the yard.

This is my second time purchasing with Lennar and it seems that departments are not connected and do not talk to each other.The best part of this experience was working with Irma in Arden Park. She was amazing and made everything ok. She should be commended for providing exceptional service!

Always an excuse

I just do not even have the endurance to go into it. Paid a lot of money for a new home with numerous fixable issues. It is a great home, it has a lot of great features and very high quality materials—craftsmanship has flaws that could have been avoided but more importantly could be fixed if Lennar would just stop making excuses. The part that disappointed me most was the horrible customer service, failed transition and zero welcome by Lennar into our new home.

Lennar moved up our completion date by a month but forgot to notify us until we followed up to ask them. When we arrived for the walk-through, we were stunned and dismayed by the amount of work that was not yet done or done incorrectly. They installed the wrong granite countertops and then ripped up our counters to replace them. They pressured us to close on time but didn't deliver our dishwasher until a week after closing. The construction manager actually installed a used model to trick us into closing on time, then lied to us and told us the supplier had sent the wrong model by ...

Monitor the work throughout the process. Many of the trades do subpar work and the construction manager failed to do to his job. If you can be here everyday to check on the progress than you might be ok. If you're forced to rely on the construction manager...well good luck.

Alot of information was not included with buying this house & quiet a few issues came up. 1. New owners have to seal all the grout throughout the entire home.(found this AFTER we moved in by neighbors also upset about this.)2. If a wall has a crack or the window bead is coming away from the wall, custmer care will not fix it for an entire YEAR, because it is considered cosmetic(sure hope visitors don't mind seeing this in our BRAND NEW home!)3. Did not anticipate as many issues with a brand new construction which I continue to run into. It seems that the rush to build to sell these houses is a priority and attention to detail is not. I trusted Lennar to deliver a finished home to the expectation as identified when it was sold to me. That was not the case. From an unclean house to malfunctioning garage door is not what I expected when I set out to purchase a newly constructed house. Very disappointed.

I don’t know where to begin with our frustrations. This is the 4th house we’ve built and 2nd with Lennar. We were a return customer bc the our 1st experience was great from the sales agent they the after purchase customer experience. This time was a huge fail. The biggest fail being the sales agent. And that’s a huge statement considering we had to have our master bath redone due to a water leak and mold issues within the first month. Our sales agent was not responsive to our texts/calls on many occasions. I even had to call the ft Myers office twice to get an answer about the build. We ...

Questionable Quality & Lack of Responsiveness

There have been several Recent issues/defects, each of which are covered under Warranty. These defects Have Not been addressed and Homeowners are being told there is NO ETA. I may have to hire someone for a temporary fix, which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Lennar is behaving in a very Unprofessional manner. I'm Disappointed.
