The home buying process was some what easy. But the home was poorly put together. The caulking throughout the home was poorly done. The weather stripping around the doors is spotty. I've had problems with the breaker box, dishwasher, and outlets, and no utility closet. Jusr 3 bedrooms, 2 barhs. I have no doorbell, no shower door, and no towel bars. The worst part is that my neighborhood is accepting Section 8. Which is something I heard that Lennar approves of. The biggest issue is the interior design, its awful. It seems that the guy designed interior part of the did not have any knowledge of how to use the space. Too small bathrooms and cabinets are very bad with no drawers. It is a waste of money and Im not happy with my purchase.The homes are priced very high. I don't recommend anyone to buy.

Very disappointed in our new build. Cheap construction & quality. They used the cheapest appliances they could find. The 1st 2 builds in our community have double pane windows, ours are single pane & the condensation every day is crazy. They just threw the houses together as quickly as possible with multiple issues for the homeowners to handle. Our floors ate uneven, our garage wasn't working correctly, the refrigerator & dishwasher were so cheap we have already replaced them. We regret buying a new build right now.

From the start, salesman lied about what was included in HOA fees. There were many many construction defects with the home - from plumbing, to electrical to carpentry, appliances, tile, garage flooring etc. Lennar needs to spend more money on the various different trades so as to not have so many things that need to be repaired or replaced before homeowners move in and afterwards as well. The after home purchase was horrible. The loan process was the absolute best!

I don’t even know where to begin. I trusted you. I was excited to get a brand new home only to find out that the the workmanship is shoddy. My yard is a swamp and I have expressed my concerns about this for two months only to be pushed aside. I have had multiple contractors over to my home only to state that they’ve never seen anything like this in their life. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to a dog. The walk-through was smoke and mirrors I couldn’t even concentrate on the issues only to be told after I close that sorry you’ve closed so there’s nothing we can do. I’m just waiting for my foundation to crack in half. I’ve put thousands of dollars into this house already and I’ve only begun to just make it livable and I haven’t even totally moved in yet because I’m scared too ... More

Working with Taylor was amazing. Unfortunately Taylor doesn’t manage all aspects of the buying experience. The financing and getting to close was a disaster. It seemed like this was Lennars first home to mortgage and close. The price we ended paying is probably “fair” in today’s market but I do not think the price the home was listed at and the quality that went into building the home are comparable. So many small things could be done that would make these homes stand out and most likely bring a higher selling price, for example update fixtures and door handles instead of the cheap silver construction grade. A little thought of outlet placement would have gone a long way too. In the end, we purchased the home so I can’t complain too much! Lennar Mortgage is great Melissa and Jodi were amazing with the process!! As far as Lennar Sales Office, very dishonest, the quality of the home and quality of materials used, attention to detail is horrible.

Warranty not addressing flooding issue . Next step Charlotte county permitting my home for occupancy when flood damage possible due to grading. Still not addressed. Lanai set low unable to drain.

First I was told bu 2 people home would be cleaned when I got here, it was not cleaned and we had to get here at 6 AM to clean before movers came at 8. Then the hot water shutoff broke off, looked like had been broke and glued back together was told plumber called twice no one ever showed up for several weeks, HVAC was out for a week motor broke in attic. HVAC people put a window unit in, can't imagine my electric bill is going to be. Threhold for front door had shims, wood cracked was pointed out during inspection never fixed when asked was told it was done and it was not. I closed from another state 5/22, told everyone I couldn't be here until 6/7. Got here all the lights on and AC set at 72. Again going to be on my electric bill. The only person that really helped me was the local sales guy Darrell, He told me how to use the app to report things, went out of his way to find out things for me and I think he is fairly new. After using the app to report issues things started getting done after several weeks, almost a month of trying.I would hope Lennar if anything during my bad experience would contribute to electric bill since AC went out, windown unit running non stop tripping circuits and leaving lights and AC running for 17 days prior to me getting here. My overall experience is not good, was hounded to take mortgage, sell me home owners insurance relentlessly was even sent 74 page mortgage papers to my home. It went to the burn pile. Sent email to stop harrassing me, was told it was system generated isssue. Funny how you get hounded to take mortgage, insurance and when you need something nothing happens for weeks. Very disappointed in my whole experience, work all your life to retire and own a new home then have to deal wih all these issues. The people handling the loan took forever to respond, would not read emails I sent them before asking me for information, information which I clearly stated in the email I sent. Quality control seemed to miss an extremely crooked window, an EV charger that was installed upside down and with a connection that doesn’t work. No Lennar is stating they won’t pay for the adapter or fix the issue. I do not like I could not change the countertop or cabinets, I can’t believe a master bathroom is sold as a tub/shower combo without the option to change it. Mold growing in basement within 2 weeks of moving in. Builder told me it’s my problem now. So much for warranty

Joe from Lennar Mortgage, Connie from Lennar Sales and Rob from Warranty are about the only positive thing I can say. They do their job, they care and they work hard. Otherwise,.. We were promised and told even through we were closing 7 weeks early we would have driveways and grass finished, we closed on 4/18 and its June and still not done. The assistant construction manager is rude and belittling and says the actual manager will call and does not call back. I have 3 young kids and a dog and they are unable to play outside and I have to walk my dog on dangerous conditions of rock with screws beer bottles/cans and caps left everywhere from the workers. We redid our island to find beer cans and chips INSIDE! I would not recommend Lennar to anyone, the process of buying the home was good but once you sign the paperwork and write the check they could careless. ... More

I was only in town for three days looking at homes and was in a hurry to make a purchase, as I was moving to Utah within two months. In hindsight, I blame myself for not taking more time to inspect the home more closely. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would not have purchased this home. Lennar doesn’t put much thought into their home designs. The cabinets are cheaply made,two drawers fell apart within the first week. The shower glass in the master bedroom is too short, causing water to splash over the top onto the walls and floors. The closet rods weren’t installed properly, and my clothes fell to the floor the first night I hung them. Additionally, I’ve now lived in this home for two months and still don’t have landscaping. Lennar claims there is no water supply for landscape use in the neighborhood, yet they failed to mention this until after closing. Some homeowners in the area have been waiting over a year for their lawns, which is absolutely ridiculous. I could go on, but these are the worst issues. When you buy a brand-new home for $400,000, you shouldn’t feel the need to replace cabinets, shower glass, or fix closet rods within days of moving in. While some aspects were done right, the house simply isn’t worth what I paid. At this point, it is what it is, but my advice is to take the time to thoroughly inspect what you’re purchasing. Lennar uses low-quality materials, and their subcontractors clearly lack expertise. The craftsmanship is subpar, and I would know,I’ve been in construction for 35 years. Lennar could benefit if they had more employees like Bonita. My questions were always answered and if Bonita didn't know the answer she would let me know she would find out and get back to me. She always follow through. I always felt like I was pulling teeth with Mary Jo and therefore Bonita was like my lifeline. I have referred a couple of friends but, I also told them about the response or lack of good response from Mary Jo.

Dealing with our sales person Jenna was good. Dealing with the QC person Lauren, bad experience, unprofessional and couldn’t care less. Dealing with construction manager Brian, wasted time, bad experience. Dealing with Lennar Mortgage Shana /Kara, worst experience, poor communication, unprofessional. Dealing with Lennar Title Hayley and team, good experience. Dealing with repair team / warranty / repair request, total failure. Love the location, love the house. The Lennar experience, would not do it again.

I really enjoyed buying my home from Lennar, everyone came together to make this deal close on time. However, my home is over 70 stucco and I have a crack on the bathroom window which is about 10 feet in the air. I submitted for this repair after 1 week and it was denied. Christine Connor from Lennar came into the home 2 months later to look at other repairs and stated that the stucco repair is not covered under warranty. I would need to buy matching paint, buy some stucco repair, and get my ladder 10 feet high so I can repair it myself or I can hire someone to repair the window of my brand new home. My adjuster was a buddy of mine. He worked with lennar to get everything going. All this emails and online paperwork was to much. Lennar should give people options to get things done in person. Random people from lennar kept sending me emails. I didn’t know who to trust. I was given no option to get things signed in person. I had to read everything I was signing and had no one tell me what I was signing. Everything felt RUSHED. I disliked buying from lennar. I’m never buying from lennar again.

From the beginning I said I did not wish to do things electronically but was forced into it. Then I was told after everything was done I being transfered to another mortgage company without any reason or notification. Bad communication on getting back to fix issues. This refrigerator is faulty it keeps beeping when I heard the beeps when looking at the house before buying I thought It was a security alarm on the house. I've been calling in about it but getting no one to get back with me on the issue then on left side of house there looks to be a problem with the bricks. This is our second (and last) Lennar home. Our first experience was excellent, good quality in all aspects. This time has been totally different, poor quality of frames, finishes and details. Two months after moving we’re waiting for many details to be addressed by the quality department. So sad to realize how a company like Lennar has decreased its quality in such a dramatic pace. If you decide to buy Lennar be sure to do the inspection before closing.

I buy my house in 2 months already but don't see who coming for home warranty I don't even know what her or his name.

Get it in writing because once the paper are signed you are TUFF LUCK!

Unfortunately, I encountered multiple issues that were not merely minor in nature, leading me to question the durability and craftsmanship of their properties. Based on my experience, I would advise potential buyers to consider alternatives such as GL Homes or Toll Brothers, which I believe offer superior quality.
