Lennar was fairly decent to purchase a home with.

Overall I am pleased with my new home. We have had some issues that have been addressed extremely fast so no complaints there. My one issue I do have is the quality of the products used. For example; the paint, appliances, sink fixtures, construction materials in general are “cheaper than I expected. A lot of the “quality” was exposed after closing unfortunately.

Overall, very pleased with the total purchasing, building, and move-in support processes. We were a little disappointed in the inability to make "minor" changes to the building plan months prior to construction actually starting. Not real pleased with the way the property was final graded. The degree of slope and the drainage between the houses causes standing water/mud. Also, much of the foundation concrete slab is exposed with the slope starting immediately next to the house.

Decent construction overall for the price. Instead of spending money on "smart home" items use dollars for better materials,better trim workers, 16" centers on studs instead of 24". Use a better company than Interior Logic for important work. I was shown a model home that mine was supposed to look like with separate master vanities,separate closets, but then when I moved in I had none of those. Worst trim carpenter work I have ever seen. Dirt and sand painted right over on base trim.

Lennar is always quick to respond to an issue, how ever I have had to contact you for the some of the same issues ore than once because it isn't getting done properly the first time. I expected top notch done right the first time kind of work from Lennar.

The house is nice but trying to get any issues corrected is nearly impossible. Not sure I’d go with Lennar again.

We have known issues from the final walk through that have yet to be addressed. Reported issues after the sale are still sitting in a pending status 3 months later

Overall satisfaction of the home is good the overall satisfaction of the construction going in around the home is terrible. I understand the consequences of living in an area with construction but didn’t realize it would be like living in a war zone. They take little to no pride in keeping the work areas and surrounding lots clean.

Buyer beware that the repair process after you own is not very good. Simple items take a while to correct. Often the customer care team communicates a repair date as a completed work, when actually nothing has been done and it may take several more weeks to resolve. My advice is get it all 100% prior to close and do a complete and through inspection to minimize issues. Don’t accept the sales line that it will all be completed, that will just lead to frustration on your part.

Punch List items not corrected at move in - couple were never addressed - had to fix myself. Sales team was awesome but construction manager not responsive to problems.

What can I say, it's new construction by a national builder that has to build quickly and cheaply. They boast their energy efficiency but use a construction grade electric hot water heater and there's no additional insulation in the attic. Cabinets are already chipping and we've only been here 5 months.

Love our house and community. Some of the craftsmanship is not exactly worthy of 700K plus homes. Responsiveness to warranty issues has been very disappointing overall.

Master bathroom has several issue. Grout falling out, tiles not even, counter top with non removal stains. Called about grout falling out and they used a different color caulking to replace

There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. So, there is no standard trusted builder pricing as the prices going along the tide. Faster completion of homes, but no proper nailing & who knows what's gone inside the drywall !

The home buying process itself was great and Lucas the sales associate was very helpful and engaged throughout the process. However, after moving into our new home, it was like playing cat and mouse game trying to get work orders completed. Even for issues such as gas leak considered emergency took over a week to fix. As I'm writing this review, I had a water leak in my master bedroom 2 weeks ago and a Lennar staff member came to look at it himself and that was the last time I heard from anyone. Called and left message for him last week and called the warranty coordinator last week who said she'll follow up with a call "shortly" but never called back. ... More

Frustrated with response to issues. Took two weeks to get damage from leak fixed. Having some plumbing issues and dishwasher hits stove door when opened. Love the location

No lighting ,provided, this cause the home to have electrical issues that were not tested until I moved in

Our home is beautiful but we have to have several things corrected which we shouldn’t have had to do since it’s a brand new house. The main thing is the painting - both inside and outside the house. It seems like it was rushed and several walls had to be repainted. We have had to put in tickets, then schedule appointments, then be home for the repairs. It is time consuming and, like I said, shouldn’t have happened since this is a brand new house.

Felt there was no pride in the craftsmanship and that the house was rushed for a completion date. To have things looked at or fixed, you have to call incessantly. Overall we have a very nice home but the process has been full of headaches and challenges.

Make sure you really check out the home before you buy, when we moved in the house was a mess, painting and a few carpentry items were done very sloppy. Paint on the floor every where.

Great home for the price. Larry with Eagle Mortgage was outstanding, as was the onsite customer service staff. The staff that works with you to correct any issues during the walk through are awful. My suggestion is make all flaws found during walk through are corrected before you pay, otherwise good luck getting things corrected. The lawn and landscaping are terrible unless you like dead grass and lots of weeds. After 6 months of living there, I finally gave up hope on getting things corrected, so I did them myself. I think it would be good customer service to at least check in with the new homeowners once it awhile. ... More

We were happy to find a home that fit our needs - that gave us the space and aesthetics we wanted in an area that we are so happy with. I would be lying if I said we weren't worried going in to this transaction as Lennar has MANY negative reviews scattered about the internet. From sale to close, and beyond, I can summarize our interactions, both good and bad, as mediocre. This is largely because, I feel, there is a lack of ownership across the experience. Lennar personnel are quicker to pass the responsibility on to another person than to find a solution themselves. I'm not sure if this because there is a lack of a culture of ownership or because no one is empowered to do the right thing, but this theme is prevalent throughout. There were glimmer's of stellar service and I commended each of those individuals, but not enough of them to raise our rating of our experience with Lennar. The Good: The Customer Service Manager was quite helpful and knowledgeable and came out promptly to resolve an issue with the dishwasher...unfortunately, that was the last time he was this helpful. Our home is beautiful and we are happy here. Luckily, we were spared some of the horror stories other Lennar homeowners or even some of our neighbors have. The Bad: Our walkthrough date was "forgotten" about and they were unprepared when we arrived, the home was not completed upon closing, options and upgrades available for the home were VERY limited and unnecessarily stringent, workmanship was occasionally sloppy (who is doing quality control?), the representative of walkthrough is a professional liar who spent an hour misinforming us and giving empty promises. Painters were no-call/no-show on several occasions, Lennar sold a large percentage of our neighborhood to Chinese investors that rented the homes out. As a result, we have teenagers living 6-8 to a home and throwing parties, instead of having a strong and safe sense of security with actual homeowners (there are only three homeowners on our street). Materials are cheap and nothing feels well thought out. Our kitchen and laundry room were designed/built around the provided appliances (who does that?) To summarize, mediocre is the best word to describe our experience. My growing family is happy in our home and we've not had any huge issues that remain unresolved yet. But, as was explained to us several times by sales staff during the purchase, "Lennar is numbers focused," this is very clear. Seemingly for Lennar, numbers > people. ... More

Shimming and shaving of interior walls poorly done. Walls bowing and bulging in several places. Many times we’ve been told the fix is worse than what you have. Concrete work poorly done. We finally got the driveway replaced but we still have cracks on front steps and sidewalks.

Everything started off amazing, however they rushed the close of our house leaving many issues after close. We are still finding issues, but likely we are still under warranty and the warranty department has been great. The sales rep. Bob was also fantastic. I am torn on if I would recommend Lennar as the closing process was absolutely horrible.

We’ve had nothing but problems with after care service. In fact, they no showed AGAIN today to fix our house. The 30 day walk occurred 4 months late. The smarthouse concept we jokingly call the dumbhouse.
