I asked the Lennar construction manager if Lennar would put in frames/support for ceiling fans for the back deck. The response was " Normally we don't customize homes, but thats not a big deal. We can handle that. Three times during the construction, I reminded him. On the walkthrough I asked about the ceiling fan supports. His response was "Lennar doesn't do that. If he would have been honest. I could have had the supports put in myself while the soffit was still open.

The sales team and home care team have been great. Beautiful home with minor issues after move-in that were taken care of quickly. The Lennar Mortgage is incredibly shady. Worked with the mortgage team for over eight months. Terrible communicators with even worse work ethics. Tried to take our house back at the last minute due to errors on their part that could have been solved but they refused to try to work with us. Forced to threaten legal action before we were heard and given a chance to find a new mortgage company less than 24 hours before we were to sign documents. Spent way too much for what I got. House is a mixed bag of nice amenities and cheap junk. It took way too long to finish.

Lennar overall is a good company. The construction manager we had was awesome!

The system to file Repair Request online within one year warranty is convenient and response is kind of quick, but may be the large quantity and pandemic time, the request fixing cases time are waiting too long. As buyer stand point, we want to buy a good quality and ready to live the brand new home without any worry, not by having technicians to the house back and forth. Basically, I love this builder and my house design, but that will be perfect if no rush closing and less request repairs after closed.

Our home is beautiful and I'm grateful to be here. Having said that, there is some inflexibility with the company in general. Despite an 11-month timeframe between contract signing and closing, we weren't allowed to add a bathtub when we asked just a few weeks after signing. We had a leak due to anchors for closet shelves being screwed into the stack (drain line from upstairs) that required floor and sheetrock removal. HVAC wasn't quite right and has required a few visits. Tile is in place, but the grout is weird and nothing is exactly level. I suspect our other issues are common with any large, mass-scale builder...a fix requires one crew for removal, a second crew for a fix, a third crew for replacement, a fourth crew for painting.... I suspect slightly less detail-oriented folks would have fewer complaints, but I'm grateful every month for the 1-year warranty and the ability to submit punchlist items. ... More

Purchasing my home the Lennar homes was positive especially in dealing with our sales and customer service support teams. My sales representative Susie and my customer care representative Mark are outstanding people to work with!

They used to be very attentive but with the housing boom they have forgotten about their customers and how to treat people.

Some finishes are not excellent but the price paid was even raised during the purchase. The experience as buyer: very poor The house: normal, average The price: very high

Loan officer wasn’t as thorough as I would have liked with answering questions and explaining things. I feel like it was assumed I knew and understood things as they were stated. The construction workers were gross. They left trash in the kitchen island after the quartz countertop had been installed. Beer cans were in cabinets when I went to look at the house prior to closing. Construction workers should be more professional and not drinking on the job especially when it comes to crafting the largest expense of most people’s lives.

Needs more supervision of sub-contractor workmanship. However, the builder did make everything correct after demanding corrections.

We ran into a bunch of issues with the loan lady and she wasn’t listening. But Jose the sales guy helped us threw the process on buying the house.

Whoever inspects the homes during construction were not checking them carefully. Lennar makes you jump through hoops to have your own inspectors come in.

Prices are over-inflated due to the market, but the builder cheaps out along with raising prices. Little things such as lack of outdoor lighting, no appliances, cheap materials, and unclean move in made buying the home feel less accomplishing. Myself and MANY neighbors complain about the rushed, poor quality work put into the homes, especially for paying more than the homes are really worth.

The builder has been responsive, for the most part. There are/were issues...many were taken care, some are still pending. Duane, Customer Care Rep,, is excellent. The builders, Scott and Rob, were great as well. Outside of the builders, only the finance gentleman, was excellent. Sales Rep ("New Home Consultant"), Chris, left much to be desired. Many of the things we wanted...we were told were not available...yet others who moved in AFTER us got what we wanted! Moreover, we were told that our home would be ready for "move in" by the end of May 2021. It was NOT ready until end of June. Thus we were "homeless" for a month at GREAT expense. ... More

Home purchase was straightforward but issues occurred which required multiple follow-ups. A solid house however design features were not changeable to customize house to buyer. Amenities were not shown to buyer but alluded to in literature and lacking in important areas such as beach access for community on the lake.

I just wish the materials used in our home were much better quality . Not like our interior kitchen cabinets which are so cheap with no quality. The shelves inside our kitchen cabinets already are going bad after 4 months . Same with quality and type of paints they used in our rooms . Very cheap . Super weak and cheap materials

house is nice...needs more dedication from workers doing a better job,,,warranty work is slow

The sales staff made the process seamless and the warranty staff handled issues quickly and completely.

This will be a nice community. Unfortunately clubhouse and pool will still not be completed next summer. The homes are pretty well constructed but attention was not paid to detail such as the finishing work on the cabinets and flooring.
