Quality was lagging as was completion date. A bit unfortunate but felt Lennar Corp was more concerned with getting our building closed out before the end of their fiscal year, vs. the quality of the product. That said, we knew coming in that quality was not what Lennar is known for so didn’t expect a custom/quality job to begin with. I feel most bad for folks like Arthur and Ron who are just executing the direction they are provided, often with limited control of the process.

I didn’t have the experience I was expecting. Very poor work quality, materials are not the best, paint was horrible, etc.

Houses are being put up really quickly and the attention to detail is suffering because of it. We are still waiting for repair of the landscaping that was damaged by contractors driving on our lawn, poor drainage at the end of the street which causes flooding and mud building up where adults and kids have fallen. Too many transitions within the warranty department and no notice of who the contact person is. Wood is chipped throughout the house, poor paint/caulking jobs, doors misaligned, residue from stickers left on the showers and tubs which are difficult to remove and uneven floor boards put down upstairs with the poor quality carpet just laying on top. After signing contact office employee not as friendly as I think they should be. Builder very helpful. Employees working with closing all very professional and helpful.

Several delays along the way.

Had a good experience generally. only big disappointment was on the 1st and 2nd viewing of the property before purchase. The lady treated us really badly. We still remember this.

The purchasing process was great. However once moved in, within days there were issues with appliances leaking, ants in the home, and difficulty getting issues resolved in a timely fashion.

I've experienced nothing but issue after issue with the house. I'm averaging about two new issues per week ranging from Major appliances, flooring, cabinets, window coverings, HVAC, interior doors just to name a few.

The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough” to discuss status of home prior to closing and what needs to be addressed prior to that time. The home had many issues. Construction materials still on the premises while a “celebration banner” was being put up! Very disappointed in the meeting. This is our 6th new construction home. Past builders had the home spotless by the time the walkthrough occurred. This will be our first and last Lennar home. Thankyou.

We were left in the dark for weeks as they pushed back our closing date several times. We tried getting a hold of Corina multiple times on several different occasions but she ignored all our calls, voicemails and emails. The home itself is beautiful but are now having issues with leaks and things missing. The customer service person - chris- also completely ignores all the calls, voicemails and txts. Only when we complain he comes around and still doesnt actually get anything done. Rick was great to work with and we know he did his best. Brian the builder is amazing and so kind and helpful. Slow down at walk through and make sure paint and dry wall is finished properly.

Good design but poor quality of internal decoration

Customer service has been ok except NOT the mortgage part… otherwise ok

Disappointed with the responsiveness of Lennar representatives when we had an issue. Many times we had to call over & over again during the initial process & after closing. Love the Townhouse, but some of your representatives need to be more customer oriented, especially the supervisor of the design center who never returned any of my calls.

The sales person was great

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

The initial homebuying experience was decent, and the sales team was helpful throughout the process. However, I will say I've had trouble getting a response to questions or help with issues with the home since closing day. When kindly asking the sales office who I should talk to about my gutter mysteriously overflowing in light rain weeks after moving in, I was told multiple times it wasn't Lennar's problem before finally being given information on how to make a claim with the home warranty. The claim was denied by the home warranty stating it's a "homeowner maintenance issue," despite literally just moving in. Lennar has since offered to help address this issue, but I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved weeks later. I am still finding random paint splatters & scratches missed in the walkthrough, and now after less than 2 months of living here I'm seeing cracked grout & splitting seams, AC unit leaking a large amount of water, etc. For the price I paid for my first home, I expected higher quality materials and more pride in craftsmanship. While we love our home, there were several things that did not impress us with Lennar. The project management was average, at best. In construction and project management, you run into delays, that is part of the job. The handling of and working around delays was not executed to a level we expected. This forced them to rush through our home in the final month of construction. Towards the end of our construction period, we learned that Lennar's fiscal year ended on November 30th and there were a certain number of homes that had to be completed. Lennar put their interests in front of the buyer and proceeded to rush through the home. This put a terribly sour taste in our mouth. Items that we brought to their attention in the 2nd month of construction were now being addressed and when addressed, the craftsmanship was incredibly poor and had to be redone. A week out from closing, we had close to 20 items that needed to be addressed. You would think a week would be enough to complete this. Over that timespan, I saw crews at our home on only two of those days. A day before closing, there were still 7-8 items remaining. Half of those being major. When we moved in, the floors were covered in glue, there were rusty nails and razor blades (!) scattered all over our yard, screens were incredibly bowed, and sinks were filthy. At best, I can give Lennar 3/5 stars. We paid close to a half million dollars for our home and for that price, I expected better craftmanship and project management. Luckily, their warranty process has been responsive, but our home has felt like a construction zone for the first month, as we have one or two people in here per week fixing and correcting things that should've been completed prior to closing. ...
