We faced some challenges right off the bat with our first pick home getting sold, literally as we were signing our salesforce documents, however in the long run we got a much nicer house with better amenities for roughly $200 more a month. After that things went pretty smoothly right up until we had to start dealing with Lennar Finance. Great house, below average attention to detail

Great house and the team seem committed to achieve the final items on the exception list. Good surprise offered by the smart home package. However, the finishes are not great, not in line with the value of the house... the customer journey is somewhat engineered, but not well delivered by the different parties. 45 days after the move, the exception list is still open.

As far as sales,Deb is amazing to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in Sterling Ranch. On the other hand i am extreamly disappointed with the poor construction management and the lack of finishing anything before moving onto the next home. We moved in almost 2 months ago and still our house is being pieced together while we watch others move in weeks/months after us and have a fully finished house and landscaping. This company is more worried about putting up more houses than actually finishing what they had started.

1. Stone on front of home had to be replaced- poor workmanship. 2. Horrendous spackling job in the garage, stairway and storage room. 3. Key to the home does not work in the lock of the door to the house through the garage. 7 weeks later and we still do not have the proper key, which is on order. 4. Lennar is nothing special. They claim to strive to build all homes as good as the model, but that's not the case. While the structure itself is good (according to our home inspector), the quality of everything after the drywall was installed is sub-par at best. Lennar throws these houses together and doesn't care about the finished product - they just want to get on to the next house so they can get paid. Talk to current homeowners to really get a sense of the Lennar Home Buying Experience

One should talk to some longer term homeowners to get a good sense of the Lennar building and buying experience. Communication on the closing date was truly lacking and if we didn't call we wouldn't know. The attention to detail of the inside final product didn't show much attention to detail by the people performing it. Their stable of subcontractors do not pay attention to the details that new home buyer expects for the price being paid. Follow up since closing with the warranty group has been satisfactory to date. Most of the process with Lennar was reasonable, but my closing was rushed as the home was not actually ready for the scheduled closing. In fact during the final walkthrough on the day of closing they had still not installed appliances. Because everything was not quite ready for closing the final punchlist had about 50 items that needed to be addressed. It was fine with the process, except at the closing escrow, it was kind of disapointed due to 3 times and extended, was hectic and not our fault at all. The quality of materials not specified until now. The issues that we found after the second walk, not yet fixed.

Overall experience was OK. There was a huge delay in closing which was understandable because of the supply chain issues around 2021/2022. Quality and finishing is not the best, but not bad and the maintenance department is very responsive. The worst experience was with Lennar Mortgage, lots of mistakes and having to resubmit documents and until a week before closing I had no idea how much my closing costs would be.

I'm mostly disappointed in how some of the homes in the neighborhood are maintained. I was surprised to learn the number of investment properties and rental that are in the subdivision. We have some houses were the grass has not been cut, dogs tied up in the front yards, basketball goals lying down in the front lawn, and couches in the garage where people just hang out with the garage door up. This is definitely not what I was expecting and I don't know what the homeowners association is doing. Overall, I'm just disappointed.

Decent Value for condo style home

The value of the home is decent for CA. The walls are super thin. I was told I wouldn't hear neighbors as that was my concern with a condo style home. I hear every sound including garages and the closing of doors. I am happy with my home, but wish I'd known what to be prepared for.

Lennar’s selling process was well organized and pretty painless. Their online portal is great. While our house was delayed by 6 months that’s not entirely their fault. Charging US for 5 days of delay while we completed our home appraisal process after waiting 6 months for Lennar seems a bit unfair, regardless of the clause on the contract. Real disappointment was the quality of workmanship in paint, cabinets…pretty low-end.

We are happy with our new home but the quality it is in the lower end for a new build. Thy need to do a much better work during their internal QC process or selecting contractors. Found several issues after moving in and we eventually had to get an external inspector. Zero attention to detail. Still haven't found a single window frame that it is properly level in the house. Silver lining is that they provide a one year warranty and the customer service rep for my community is doing an excellent job helping us solving them.

My experience with the Lennar Lender Rep was not good at all from beginning to end. Very poor communication and responsiveness, poor update related to my loan. Pushing automated emails was good enough for him, but communication was the worse experience I've had. The material used for the home fell short and the seller and construction manager did their best to address all issues. Quality of the material is not good, plastic fixtures, painting was subpar. Buying from Lennar is overall a good experience. But you have to be ready for a lot of warranty claimed after closing. Everyone from the sales department and warranty department is super friendly, responsive, and helpful. We had Omar as our sales rep, and he is always there helping us explaining the process of closing and tried his best to answer our concerns. Richard and John are our Wareanty manager, they are both very polite and friendly! Our sales rep Tony was awesome to deal with. Even though the closing date kept getting pushed out our sales rep kept us up to date and we totally understood the delays due to COVID related impacts of materials and labor. Main house ac was not properly connected and secondary ac was cooling the entire house causing an enormous electricity bill in the summer. Multiple paint and cleaning issues not fixed by closing as promised, but nothing major. Quality is not as high as Beazer homes

The first walk through orientation and walk through before closing was not very good experience. This was our third home, second new construction, and have moved into five other houses due to moving (US Navy) duty stations. We were very disappointed in the build quality in several areas and difficulty in getting issues with wrong location of washing machine water and drain piping - took three attempts to get someone to put it in the right place after being told "we leave it to the plumber.
