It was great! It worked out!

When I initially decided to purchase my home, I was told the closing date would be in September of 2020. When I saw construction had not yet started on my home (well after construction was supposed to have begun) I brought it up with Lennar staff. I was subsequently told the home would not be ready until closer to January 2021. As a result, I was offered a different lot with the same floorplan, which was supposed to be ready around September of 2020 (the original agreed upon timeline). When this offer was made to me, I was told this would be at no extra cost, as compensation for the mix up. I agreed to take the new lot, since I had already set plans in motion to move out of my current living space (banking on a September move in date). Two days later, I was told I would have to pay an additional fee in order to switch to the lot that would have been ready on time, and that I would have to stay with the original lot if I did not want to agree to pay more up front. I was obviously frustrated at this point, and was essentially told by Lennar staff that these were my only two options. I ultimately elected to sort out a living situation to fill out the additional time it would require to stay with the first lot, and not pay extra for a different lot. From this point on, the construction process went smoothly and expeditiously. The construction manager, Craig, was thorough and available throughout this process. However, on closing day, there was some kind of miscommunication somewhere in the Lennar organization and the construction crew was still working to correct some of the issues pointed out during the initial walkthrough when I arrived to move in. I'm not entirely sure who this oversight falls on, but it was disappointing things were not 100% complete and there had not been a cleaning done prior to my move in. All the aforementioned frustration aside, the quality of the home is top notch and I am incredibly pleased with the end result. I have not had any issues beyond a few minor cosmetic fixes. Prices are good overall great service

We are happy with all the appliances and electronics. The home was built on time and up to quality standards.

We love the home just there was poor communication.

The house itself is very well made with lots of technology. The overall buying experience was not terrible, just stay away from getting loan with lennar.

Junior has been the best thing about our experience with Lennar. Always helpful, available and prompt. Give that man a raise!!!

Sales rep was nice but not very knowledgeable

Good customer service. Home looks nice and modern. Quality of materials, paint, etc. could improve.

Lot of lack of communication, answer or updates from sales. Also I have been complaining that might have some issue with the electric installation in the house and it has been kind of ignored . Some specific issues were taken care after 3 or 4 claims but still the breaker keeps going off. It’s not normal that a new house have the breaker off so often. Wish some one could come and inspect in general if everything is ok.

For the money you might expect better build quality. Switch plates that are not level, drawers that don't close right, stair rail supports that are not parallel, paint that is so thin you can see through it, concrete that is already cracked at move in, light fixtures not flush and falling out of the ceiling, support legs on the kitchen bar that wobble and don't support, windows that don't stay open, is that really a fireplace hearth, visible drywall joints, etc. Makes me wonder what's behind, or not behind the walls. They have been good to follow up, but it did take 2 months to get our second garage door opener. Again, nice house, good follow up, but quality and finish work is not worth the $ spent. Mark and Travis were very quick to respond to all of follow up request on work that needed to be completed. The final condition of the home when we moved in was not up to what a home in this price range should have been. Lots of items that were agreed upon during the final walk through were not completed. Carrie in the sales department was great also!

The roads are so narrow when the construction team comes in they block my driveway and for som reason don't park alongside the cub near the house they are building! The junk yard in the back of my house is louder than I thought it was going to be.

Great workmanship and material. I only have concerns about how the backyard was slopped so water doesn't sit on the lawn. The lawn has eroded because the downspout drains 3 feet from the patio porch instead going all the way out of the yard. I can hear my neighbor going up and down the stairs. I can also smell when my neighbors smoke cigarettes; it moves through the vents. There is no natural sunlight that you get in the front of the house because of the design, no windows in front of the town-home.

Our House title was to be titled to our Trust. The information was given to the Lennar Salesperson. We learned after our closing, that our house deed was not titled to our Trust. We were told that the Salesperson left his position, abruptly, and left unfinished business. This caused considerable inconvenience and expense on our part.

Moved into our brand new house and eventhough all my issues, and there were many, (from sewer back up in plumbing, garage door stuck in open position, HVAC heat/cooling system not producing heat, toilet water leak, and water heater elements needing replacement) within the first three months of moving in. Not a pleasant experience.

Lennar delivered on time and communication was exceptional. The people working for Lennar are great and were very responsive to feedback and requests. The selections of materials are limited which I understand is why they stay on budget and on time but they are not wearing well showing use after less than 6 months. The quality of the cabinets, carpet and hardwood is low. There is little insulation in the house and the house lives very noisy with significant noise transfer from room to room and floor to floor. We love our view and the layout of the house is great but we would hesitate to buy a Lennar home again. We feel we will be replacing finishes and having to make updates to flooring etc sooner than one would think with a brand new home. Their price point works well and the Everything's Included model may work well for other but perhaps not the best for all buyers. ... More

Builder should be more open to homeowners requests

I gave the overall buying experience only 3 stars because the closing date was postponed several times. When the actual date arrived I was nervous about closing because there was still a long punch list of things that were not yet completed/corrected. But I'm glad we went through with the closing. The wonderful foreman and sales office make up for the sloppy workmanship.

For the most part was happy, my upgraded tile floor still looks very poorly done. Problem was not addressed properly and lennar refused to fix it properly

The main Electrical panel board is of poor performance, it should of been SQD like the other homes I am an Electrical Engineer and we stop using EATON for this reason, as I continue to have issues, including the water heater is poor quality

Salesman Excellent! Builder: TERRIBLE!! {garage entry door, garage door, island structure, kitchen sink, granite, baseboards, tub, bathroom sinks, landscaping lawn] We are very unhappy with the kitchen cabinets they have issues with the finish and currently one of the outstanding issues in our home. Robert is assisting with that as well. QA closing: There were many issues that we are still dealing with since closing see finish out issues above. It has been a very stressful period. We never had the feeling of joy of buying a new home when there were so many issues. Finance/mortgage: Very helpful kept us well informed smooth process from start to finish. Customer care rep.: Robert our customer care rep has done an exceptional job thus far in helping to resolve issues identified prior to and after closing. Still assisting with the final few items outstanding . He is a 10+++ if it wasn't for his attentiveness we don't know what we would have done regarding the issues in our home. Overall my review from 0-5 is 3 1/2. the main reason it is not a 5 is due to the finish out/cabinets.QA issues we identified. We would not recommend the gray because you can not touch them up without showing every mark. We would rather have the dark cabinets.
