Landscaper used shoddy sod and put down a summer sod in winter.

They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

Lennar has been a pretty good company to work with. I happened to stumble upon their property and found that I liked what I saw, almost instantly. While the quality of the workmanship was alright - much more geared towards rapid building and "cookie-cutter" style townhomes, meeting with the construction manager and hearing about their passion for "getting things right" was helpful. I was able to walk through and point out everything that might have been damaged or not to my satisfaction for a new property. As I have lived here for the past months, any issues that have popped up, Lennar Customer Care has been prompt to reply to me and get any services I might need lined up. I am rather pleased with how well it has worked out. My only real.... less than positive experienced was when I was preparing to place an offer down on the property I moved into. I was introduced to Lennar's "preferred partners" they would like you to use, and my realtor advised me to explore what was out there. Ultimately, I chose to go with a different lender and title company than who Lennar usually works with, and the preferred partners were persistent, to say the least, about trying to obtain my business. At times, it was very annoying to have them constantly calling or emailing trying to solicit my business when I had already entered into a contract with a different company. ... More

We are very pleased with our Lennar home. The house is great so far. However, the community center is FAR too small for the number of homes. There will be about 400 homes but only space for a party of about 10-15 people. Lennar was too cheap to build a bigger, better center. We have also had many issues with the grass and land outside. The sod and front bushes were placed on rocks and are dying already (after only a couple months), but lennar doesn’t include the yard in their warranty.

Would be very thorough with walk through.

When a person purchases a new house, you would expect the work to be of better quality. These contractors are supposed to be professionals and do better jobs than myself. We shouldn't have to have painters come back, sidewalks fixed, plumbing fixed, fixtures replaced, garage siding repaired all within the first 2 months. The CM was awesome! He was very willing to get people back in and make the repairs. We passed our 60 day mark, so no more CM helping us. The current customer care rep has been good so far and brought contractors back to make repairs. With the price one pays, I would expect better quality of work. Please make sure you see your exact home before you purchase there was some confusion on the pitches versus what I received are what I thought I was gonna be receiving I had already signed my contract to build and then found I wasn't given everything that I seen on the picture so I had to pay an additional $1000 down and over 18000 more in upgrades to receive what I want other than this my home by an experience was great

Wasn’t too happy with the original sales rep Viet. Took a long time to get things back to us which caused delays in our build. This also pushed us back at the design studio which then we couldn’t pick the exterior colors due to other homes next to us getting there before due to the delay. Wasn’t thrilled about spending over over $400,000 on a new home and not being able to get the brick and siding we wanted. Our new salesman Joe helped move things along but the damage was already done by viet. We also had a flood in our basement not more then a few weeks aafter we moved in due to the pit not being cleaned out property ( we did have it cleaned but lost a lot of personal items that were never recovered) ... Over all I’m satisfied with my new home. I knew going in what to expect. Lower end fixtures and appliances, drywall work definitely not the best but about what I expected from a track home. People at lennar very helpful but slow to respond to minor issues. Never did get my garage keys and bathroom exhaust fan never has worked.

This was my second Lennar home in five years. However, the quality of materials and workmanship has significantly declined compared to my previous Lennar home. Lennar homes are beautiful and space is planned out well. Buying process was easy and not complicated.

We love our new home & it is great for the price oaid; however, we had lots of issues due to poor workmanship by subcontractors & everything being so rushed. We were also lied to about a few issues. Make sure anything promises that is important to you (green space behind home, etc.) is in writing, not just shown to you on a map.

Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. Quality seems pretty good, workmanship and cleanup left something to be desired. Follow-up for warranty issues needs to be improved.

I really like the house I bought from Lennar. Location is top notch. Finishing material is also very good. My experience with the sales team was also very good. Some finishing work is poor. Responsiveness is also poor. I have place a complain on a couple of electrical issues and never got anyone coming to fix them (or even to see what were my issues). Also my driveway, that was just done, is already showing holes on the concrete. Painting is bad.

I was expecting better quality from Lennard, but they use lower quality of materials, specially the cabinets and closets. I would suggest to reconsider and use higher quality. Just in the first month I had some problems with shower heads, running water on the tub, flicking mater bedroom recessed lights, and kitchen counter top on the big island. still have some problems, fortunately working in progress.

Buying the house was great but after the fact, hasnt been as good as a thought. Job was done very poorly and still to this day, my house is not completed. Workorders take forever to be submitted and contractor takes forever for the appointments to be made. Then, Lennar gets bought out by Century Homes. Not too happy with what’s going on.

Maybe some contractors had to much work and hurried this house. The drywall and paint work are not up to par.

Superintendent was amazing throughout the process, always responding to any issues we had during construction and post closing. The biggest issue we've had was as of just this week when I discovered 4-5 pieces of 4" long siding buried on the side of my yard along with a 5-7 10lb boulders in my backyard. I was curious why my grass wasn't growing so I started to dig and found those issues (siding crew didnt clean up, grating company did not notice the siding nor take the time to clear any rocks). Overall, a good experience but wish the yard detail would have met my expectations.

I a sense se are happy with our new home. The only issue we had is after you move and how responsive are the knolowgist. We have a lot of issues that still have not been taken care. For example our shower base in the bathroom we have on the master room came defective. A new shower base was put on but till this time have pass more than three weeks and we still not able to use it. The drywall and ceramic tile have not been installed yet. Our double blind was replace but the blind used was defective.

Disappointed in a few areas that you shouldn’t have to deal with in a new home. Still working to get many things fixed. Overall we love the home just not to thrilled about some of the issues we still have to fix on a brand new home.

The entire build process was great. Our sales rep kept us informed and although the lot we chose already had begun construction, Lennar allowed us to make several interior changes (floors, counters, and couple other items :) The one item Lennar MUST work on is their Closing procedure. On the day of close for our final walk thru/inspection, there were still 10 people inside working on the home! It is impossible to conduct a walk thru inspection to view potential deficiencies with construction still going on! Lennar should have pushed the Close by a day or two. Lennar robbed us of the new home experience on the day of close and left us with a bad taste. To their credit however, it did take a couple months, but Lennar did fix all the deficiencies in the home. The site manager unfortunately did not pick up on any of the clues about us being incredibly unhappy. During the final walk thru before Close, He arrived about 15 minutes late, on his phone and went right into his purpose of being there. He did not even introduce himself. I had to stop him, and introduce myself and my wife, and then once he finally made eye contact he realized that he was being unaware of his environment. He didn't do any of the basic fundamentals of an introduction to make us feel comfortable. After living there for a few months there are a couple of weird design flaws. For example, the exterior hose is on the wrong side of the house. It is away from the garage. How can you clean out the garage floor or wash your car? You need a 50/75 foot hose just to reach! With all that said, I do love my home. We have a Norwood Model and it really is awesome! I love coming home everyday, pulling in the driveway and can't help but smile, because this IS my home. ...
