Lennar delivered right on time as promised. It was disappointing that even the smallest request ( leave the wire clothing rods off and I’ll do my own) was not even considered. Mackenzie (sales representative) was snarky and hard to deal with. I also wanted a small name change from the contract to the closing documents and wouldn’t even consider ( cost me an additional $82 to add a quit claim deed to make name change after closing) and I paid cash for the home. I am very satisfied with the overall construction and appliances; though w/d could be more sturdy.

My overall experience was 4 stars. If we were provided everything that was initially offered when the sales person walked us through the house, we would have rated it a 5 star. But as we got into the conversation with our agent and Lennar, things started falling apart; no appliances were to be provided (yet other spec homes were having appliances delivered to other homes in the same state as the one we were looking at), resolution to the promised appliances wasn't the same level of compensation, the house was "cleaned" before our walkthrough with Nichole (construction manager) and there were many areas that needed to be recleaned. The standards for a homebuyer is much greater than the builder and at the end of the day, I would have liked to see the builder's team to think as if it was their house and would they be okay with the outcome. Lennar mortgage, Christy, was great to deal with throughout the process. She was quick to respond and explain things thoroughly. The warranty department has been quick to tackle some minor issues post moving in and I've been happy with this experience. In the end, the sales team started the home purchasing off on the wrong foot. If Lennar could get the sales team to not lie or mislead, the homebuying experience would have been great. Very responsive to your needs with any issues

This is my second new home from Lennar. They are mass production builders. You get what they spec. I wanted a gas tankless water heater and despite the water heater being next to gas lines and the builder even drilling the exhaust hole in the siding they would not let me pay to upgrade. Make sure to do inspections. There were 3 structural defects that were pointed out to them then addressed. I loved my lot but wished I could have tweaked the interior a bit.

Great design and build for the price and location. Surprised to see couple of issues in electrical fixtures within months so can’t confirm on the quality overall until after some time. Everything was on warranty so not a big issue and their response has been pretty quick.

Great location for resale but I was really attracted to the amenities. The walking trail and park provide areas for enjoyment. I love the continuous sidewalks as well. The convenience of shopping and proximity to Raleigh is also attractive.

Picked a home that was already started. Really liked home and site location. The home came with so many upgrades and the quality of the build was really good. Compared to other new houses I’d visited, Lennar cottages offered more extras for the price. However, there was a serious grading issue that I felt should’ve been disclosed. Their resolution for it made the site not work for me physically and the salesperson knew that. Someone else on team helped get me another site, which was great . But getting this new site was dampen somewhat by having to accept a home that wasn’t the one I chose and not colors I liked. In addition, there were identified issues that were supposed to be resolved prior to my move in that were not. I have had to make several attempts to get most of those issues resolved. Lennar’s warranty team acted very quickly to resolve the issues I brought to their attention. However, I had to make several requests to construction for other issues to get a resolution and still have others not resolved after being in house over a month. Very systematic and very effective way

Overall had a great experience with Lennar, this is our First Home. There are few hiccups but thats fine. Definitely will recommend for first time home buyers.

I had a very positive experience with Lennar and its staff. They truly care and make sure you understand every step of the processes. Christy and the mortgage reviewer,Nicole,Erin,Chris and, Heleine are great.

Very smooth and transparent process.

The Lernnar staff from sales to mortgage are great, very helpful and quick response. The insurance team response could be better. The star is Danielle from the walk through and explanation of warranty to follow up after move in. The quality of the workmanship is not what I expected from Lernnar, it definitely needs improvement.

This is my first home. I am totally impressed with Lennar and their team. My construction manager is too helpful and acknowledge any thing immediately and act. Totally positive experience

My home was first to get close on Phase 4 (Smithfarm) , Internet and address was 2 issues after move. Internet issue got resolved after a week whereas address issue is have not resolved even after 1 and half month ( clear communication gaps between builder and usps). Overall construction manager has done great job on this home. Great community.

I am very happy with my townhouse!

The whole process right from purchasing to movie in was smooth and clean. We had a good experience overall. Sales team and construction manager had responded timely. Slightly I am not happy with the quality check by lennar, it could have been much better.

Issues with lawn still looking like crap but is scheduled for this week. Much crap in back yard since closing at end of August but I cleaned much of it up yesterday (Oct.24) as I am having family visit this week. One of closet doors is not closing shut but I need to put in a ticket shortly to correct. When closing, called up Lennar lawyer for possible mortgage but never got back to me. This wasn't a main problem as I paid cash for the house instead.

Construction Mgr. is veer helpful and responsive. Workmanship of trade personnel leaves much to be desired. Pay VERY little attention to the results of their workmanship.

(1) The deadbolt on our back door worked intermittently for awhile, but doesn't work at all now (seven weeks after move-in). The front door works manually when forced, but the automatic locking fails. We can hear it trying, so it isn't the electronics. (2) The floors look weird in some spots. It is hard to explain. It looks as if something has spilled. All & all we are satisfied, but the deadbolt issue is a big deal.

I am new home buyer ..totally happy with lennar

Building process slow due to supply issues. Minor quality issues upon moving in, but soon to be resolved. Lennar Mortgage company a waste of tone, very poor Customer relations and constant requests for more and more data . Even required my Wife’s initial Naturalization papers after being a US Citizen for over 50 years ! Supposed to gain access to community website after a short time, but already here for 7 weeks and no contact. So very poor community relationship.

The quality, attention to detail and amenities of our Lennar townhome is impressive. We love the layout of our new townhome. Our salesman Matt was great. He was thorough and would research and promptly reply to any question we had. Our constriction manager Sam was amazing. He was very responsive to any issue we had. Our concerns were addressed timely and he would communicate what we were to expect at each stage of a repair. Our only disappoint was Lennar Mortgage, specifically Kaiser. We did not get a loan rate lock that we thought Kaiser had done for us. Because of Kaiser’s lack of follow through and inefficiency, we lost a lower rate, had to use an outside lender and it cost us more money. If it wasn't for the mortgage side of our purchase, I would have rated our experience with Lennar with 5 stars. ... More
