Overall great experience and very smooth process

Overall, the home buying experience went extremely well up until the point at which a closing date was set, then moved repeatedly, without transparency to true, anticipated date of closing. This required me to re-coordinate movers, closing dates on my previous property, etc. that could have been avoided by just communicating a more realistic closing date rather than racing to close a quarter.

The entire team was easy to work with and made the purchase process a breeze. weekly update along with pictures was very helpful. And the last minute updates during the final walk through was very professionally handled.

During your new home owner's orientation, make sure you go over every nook and cranny. Ask a lot of questions, take a lot of notes, and make sure you bring these notes with you for the final walk through. Please don't misunderstand, Lennar has been very responsive at addressing every concern, although some took longer than others to remediate, but I feel there were too many minor details that were overlooked in the quality control process that make me feel like this project was rushed.

I love the layout of my home!

I purchased 3 lennar homes inn the past, I am noticing the bad quality of the current one, 2nd floor squeaking, poor quality on the wall and doors painting, and obviously over priced due to the lack of inventory

There is only a one year warranty and after initial inspection blemishes and other issues are not covered. Found things after the inspection but was told they would not be covered.

We really appreciated the touch up service provided by Gabriel. Professional, hard working and very positive!

Being a first time home buyer, Lennar did a good job in making me aware of most of the things in home buying. There were few things - which could have be better (example - front door upgrade), that if told earlier - would have been easy for us to make a decision. Overall it was okay experience.

I love my home and I understand that there are a lot of struggles with supply chain these days. I have one major problem with my home is the interior paint. It is horrible. I have to repaint my brand new house and doors and molding. I don’t think that is right.

Good value for the price paid for our home.

For the price Lennar should paint the house inside with quality paint. We should not have to paint our entire house as soon as we move in. Also the lighting should be better. Only have canned lighting and have to replace lights. The tile is not sealed and you have to do that immediately when you move in.

Timely follow up on warranty issues.

We have found that Lennar stands behind its products and responds quickly when there are issues.

Lennar is a good builder but some of the workmanship needs to be reviewed. I am pleased with my hone but have noticed a few things I would like to see done differently.

Not at all flexible with changes in plan. Can change after completion - does that make sence?

They kept me updated on my entire process with weekly email updates. The walk throughs were great. Lots of info. Workmanship good just needed a larger deck on the back instead of a balcony. Sod was put down over a lot of rocks so yard is difficult to maintain. Other than that the experience was good

We love our new home! But, one thing to be aware of is that while there are choices you can make on options and certain features, Lennar is not a custom builder and there will likely be things you want to change. Those have to wait until you take ownership-additional outlets, lights and fans, and better shelving in closets/pantry. Lennar’s sales person was very good and the construction manager at the end of our build was very competent as well. With the pandemic, our home completion was delayed three months and they had a lot of turnover in construction managers. The home is great and well-built-we have had only minor issues in our 4 months since closing and those have been addressed. ... More

I had a great experience with the purchase of my home. From the sales, building process and through closing was a wonderful experience. If I was to give any negative comment it would be for the landscaping. They did a great job with the bushes, trees and the sod but the yard itself in several areas was almost too dangerous to walk on. Several dips and gulleys along with metal materials and large pieces of wood buried just below the surface of the sod was unacceptable. Sometimes I wandered if this was a house built for one of Lennar's executives that the yard would have been prestigious and grated smoothly. I feel every customer should be treated that way. I have to buy several bags of top soil and place in the uneven areas of the yard to make it safe to walk on. Lennar is a very good company. I just had a bad experience with the yard. ... More

Great home. Any issues that have popped up since our purchase have been handled swiftly.

The home seems to be well built with a quality workmanship, However the sod laid down for my yard was one star at best. The Lennar representative came out today and was very courteous but was quick to say that my contract calls for my complete ownership of the yard. My contract was over 100 pages and signed in about 45 minutes. The walk through was thorough for the inside of the house but contained about 1/10 of the information I learned from the Rep today. He said that the yard should have been watered 30 minutes in the morning and 15 in the early evening each day. My water bill was 3 times what it was in my previous house and apparently that was still not enough. The sod was dormant when it was laid down and more than 50% of yard never made it past that stage. I was told that aeration and fertilizer would help but I didn't consider that my job. I have asked the HOA for assistance and was told to contact Lennar. When does this circle of ownership stop? ... My family and I are very satisfied with the look and feel of the house. There's only a couple of things I wish were bigger or included such as a bathtub connected to the shower in the master bathroom. Also the garage should've been bigger since it's a two car garage. I still have two remaining issues that I need to report (1) driveway has a crack on the concrete that was there when I moved in (2) one of the sinks in the master bedroom has a hairline fracture in the sink.

While they offer options some builders don’t Lennar didn’t offer some options that we had preferred ie gas hot water heater, electrical floor outlets in the family room, lighting in second bathroom shower, ceiling fans and pendant lights over counter.

I had a great experience with the lennar builder.
