This is my 3rd new construction home and my experience with Lennar has opportunities for improvement related to craftsmanship and responsiveness . We had carpet tacks all over beyond any experience we had before and the response we received is that is normal which is not. The sliding door in the kitchen was missing the lock. The lock was not there at alll and two months in the air conditioner is not working when is hot and the feedback is that an appointment is set for two weeks later to have someone to just check. This is not the experience I was looking to have specially when this is my 3rd new construction home and I had good experiences before. Being a first time home buyer i was worried about the whole process and Lennar team specially Lennar Mortagage made it very easy for me and were available each step to guide through the process. One thing i feel Lennar could do better is to give minimal customization option to buyers. I get it these customization add time to home delivery but smaller customization should be encouraged.

We were buying site unseen and Cody and Rick were absolutely wonderful! The whole process went very smooth. We would give them both a 10!!!! The thing that did disappoint us is some of the workmanship in our new home and also with the cleanliness of the home. I do understand some of it was because we moved in during the winter but still very disappointed.

Very slow to get customer care response.

Fantastic buying experience. The challenge we have is with the level of building outweighing issues after build, supply and demand. The responsiveness and the level of care from the Construction Manager and directives given are a problem. The communication given by the customer care team is beyond unacceptable. The home owner shouldn't have to follow up on every issues and get time lines or keep them in line with job time lines. I hope they fix them. We love our home and its a beautiful area but after you have paid and moved in others who haven't moved in are put as priority when you have warranty item issues. They need to fix this! ... More

I don't like this kind of surveys because at the end for a few bad apples the whole team is rated.

Can do a better job at responding to emails. Sent an email regarding my front windows and a follow up email a week after. It’s been 3.5 weeks and still yet no response.

It was great until we moved in. Laura tommy and whitney all so helpful. Cannot say enough about customer service leading up to closing date. Once moved in has not been great. Have found a lot of poor work and things not working with a poor response. We made a complaint about a lennar staff who came out and referred to same staff to make complaint. been disappointed

I have had multiple issues since moving in. A/C was out for almost two weeks in June. Dishwasher needing a technician to come out due to improper installation. Outside siding falling off and the cutting of my Internet/cable line due to not being marked. Almost forgot, a missing drawer in my bathroom vanity when I moved in. They ship the drawer to me in four different packages and I have to assemble it and install. And they never sent me the hardware for the drawer assembly or asked if everything is okay. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else

Disappointed the way issues are handled . We have to run around like mice to get our issues resolved .

This was our first time purchasing a brand new build and it couldn't have gone better. The team at Lennar was with us every step of the way. Anytime we had a question they were there to help, before we moved in and even as we were already living in our home. My husband and I really appreciated the frequent updates when it was being built and the multiple walk throughs we had before we closed. It was helpful for us to see the progress of our home as it was happening. Every walk through helped us learn more about our home. We would definitely recommend Lennar.

The whole process went very well, but things have changed from the last time we built a home. We love our new home. We bought it when it was framed up. The downside of that was that we couldn't make any changes without a HUGE financial cost. We couldn't go into the house without a Lennar person with us, which was very different for us. Everyone we dealt with was extremely responsive to us and the CM was so helpful going through our finished home with us before closing.

The homebuying process was smooth with Lennar.

Very disappointed with the carpet at the entry of the bedrooms. There are sharp items that hurt when walking in the rooms. Mentioned it to Lennar and they said they will wear down. They still haven’t and every time we walk into the bedroom And master closet we get poked by the sharpness at the threshold. It is frustrating and ridiculous.

Just like anything else, the management of the process is important. Lennar in Lake Elmo at the Royal Golf Club has good management. Chad, the Construction Manager takes his job very seriously, keeps a close eye on the construction crews and makes sure every contractor does their job. Lennar uses the same crews of contractors from one house to the next, they are confident in the quality of their work as they have been proven over time on multiple jobs. Lennar was very responsive and help us move quickly. Driveway and yard has been getting installed shortly after moving in. Looking forward to making it more homey thank you

We enjoyed the process. The sales agent was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The closing day was longer than usual but the misunderstanding was cleared and we finally closed the same day. The meetings with the house manager were very helpful.

Very happy with Lennar workmanship and layout. I had no idea how responsive the Lennar Customer Care Group would be with new home problems......nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Three issues were addressed within 36hrs. One corrected by a phone call. Roofing issue 24hrs and fixed, Faulty Wiring troubleshooting 36hrs (not Lennar, but to a new Clothes Dryer issue). My priority became Customer Cares priority and we really appreciate that.

There were some painting issues that were somewhat small but quite visible. Baseboards that were painted but when the nail holes were filled they were done poorly and are quite visible in some areas and the color doesn’t match. Overall, I do love my new home except for that.

We moved in late July, but had to wait 2+ weeks for a driveway. Yard grading was completed Sep 5th (5 weeks later). Landscape and irrigation complete (6 weeks). Still waiting on sod (expecting soon). Currently in 7th week. Frustrating part of this has been many new homes without people moved in or recently moved in nearby, yards have all been completed. Project Manager has been holding us up until houses near us are ready and now doing all of them at the same time. Many discussions and emails have not improved the progress. Lennar needs to work on improving this process, even if it means doing one off efforts. Customer satisfaction should weigh higher on their priorities. At minimum, grading should occur as soon as possible to safely allow walking through yard and utilizing spickets. ... More
