The overall experience was good. We ran into delays but that’s expected. The sales staff was great, the customer care experience post closing has been great. The construction manager was average as he was not as detailed and peculiar as needed (thus resulting in lots of fixes afterwards). The worksmanship of the subcontractors used are average, could be better. However, any issues we’ve had since closing, they’ve addressed with no argument so that part of customer service is superb.

This was my first time going through this process. I worried about everything, was skeptical, I questioned everything about providing so much information and I was stressed. The Lennar representative guided me through all of the paperwork, which was a lot and Lennar dropped the price, which was a BLESSING! The lender representative made me feel better about the process. She was patient and answered my questions, reassuring me that the process is normal and not to worry. I received encouraging texts from my realtor, which also helped. My realtor was present at the final stage, “the signing”. One thing that bothered me was the large down payment I had to come up with. I was expecting some assistance as a first time homebuyer, but was told my interest rate would increase and I would need to raise my credit score. I wasn’t not prepared for that; but God made a way out of no way! As a first timer, I was not aware of so much such as Lennar did not give an option to choose the color of the house or flooring, they use “cheap feeling” door knobs, toilet paper holder, doors and screen doors. Shower rods, towel racks, window coverings were not provided; but I’m guessing that is so I can personalize my home. I was told they would include a washer and dryer but I’m not sure if I’m paying for it or was it really an extra incentive. After I moved in I received congratulatory texts and emails from EVERYONE involved in my experience! I’m getting settled in and learning to deal with the imperfections. Need help with new home repairs

Found missing paint places and quality of workmanship not the best.

The experience was not completely disappointing but it was not amazing either.

Lots of paint splatters. Windows were filthy…..never cleaned after installation. Construction debris at the end of the street has never been cleaned up. Positives….. quality flooring. Clean installation of furnace and water heater. Masonry work looks good. Appliances are above average. Closing was seamless Suggestions to make it better. Use screws for Sheetrock instead of nails to eliminate nail pops. Don’t use FLAT paint. Satin would improve the look and cleaning substantially. Do a better job of cleaning prior to someone moving in such as paint splatters and eliminating the Sheetrock dust from the tile floors. Don’t close any of the interior doors after painting….. several had marks where the door had stuck to the jam and then opened, removing some paint. ... More

All folks from Lennar and Osbourne Trails were very helpful and courteous.

Lennar should allow some changes to be made before build is started. The kitchen sink design does not conform to allow basic accessories to be purchased, ie sink grates. Upgraded fridge is not a true upgrade

The above Processes went very well and supportive. Coming from out of state Lennar made it flow well. Thanks!

With all the things going on in my life nothing is easy. I came from a home that a friend built and I loved for 22 years and I had people I could call to fix things but not so here. I have to register my own appliances-there are staples in the carpeting and it is hard adjusting but I will get there. The neighbors are nice and I am taking it day by day.

Lennar houses are worth of the money. However, their system of dealing with customers is horrible. No central / nodal person. Nobody owns the responsibility of dealing with customer. You will be runnig from pillar to post in resolving the issues without proper direction. In nutshell it is a nightmare in dealing with Lennar. But their prices are reasonable.

Received several update videos along the way. Responses were timely to my questions. House completed by date we were told. Good experience

Having a great response with the team that follow up and corrects any fault I have found. They are polite and concerned.

Ask lots of questions and keep pushing for updates. We were building from 1000 miles away and unable to see how things were going. The weekly update videos were not helpful. Get a 3rd party inspection, we found roof issues but they were handled. My kitchen island countertop was scratched when we took possession, they replaced with another scratched one, but have agreed to replace again, 3rd times a charm? We had a water leak under bathroom sink first day. My kitchen sink had a large dent on it on closing day, so while movers were moving plumbers were changing out sink (that should obviously have been replaced prior). Our irrigation sprung a leak the day they tested it, they agreed to fix and that was a month ago...Lennar is very quick to respond. But we have had several issues since move in. Love the area and the representatives were friendly. Biggest issue we had was that even though we were purchasing at the frame stage NOTHING could be changed. Cabinet colors, electrical outlets and structured internet cabling could not be changed or added... even when we agreed to pay additional fees. A little flexibility would have gone a long way to getting this closer to a five star review.

To automated---what is wrong with simply talking to your customer. Sales agents have attitude that they know ALL....they need education as to what is really going on with the construction instead of saying/telling customer things that are UNtrue

The process of purchasing the home with Lennar was great, it was quick and easy especially since it’s a brand new home. Once moved in, everything also ran smoothly ( only ran into two problems, AC and toilet) so far. The team were very responsive to the issues and fixed it right away. The quality of workmanship however was hoping a better quality ( not too bad but wish it’s better, expecting more). Be aware of the walk through and issue. Make sure to resolved before closing ( I missed a few things that didn’t realized till it all done. Overall, I still think Lennar is a good home builder. ... More

Buying was easy with our realtor involved. Our Lennar Rep was great. Once we signed and purchased the home the Lennar Rep stopped responding to messages. Also, a service we submitted over a month ago has still not been completed, even though the ticket was closed. You can see how that might shake our trust. Our home is beautiful and so far, minimal build issues.

I believe some of the basic reviews were missed by review team. Even after identifying several issues during the walkthrough, some of them had not been fixed appropriate. Otherwise, entire sales process was fantastic.

Employees of Lennar have been great to work with. Lennar's opportunity is to use some better quality when it comes to door and trimming out the home. Need more attention given to detail.

The employees are great. Kind and helpful. Debra made the purchase experience easy and Josh was very attentive regarding quality issues. Unfortunately, the subs and contractors are NOT GOOD. Our electric was poorly done and the quality of the garage door is unspeakable. We have had cascades of water pouring down the inside and the vendor says it’s NOT covered. Additionally, if we caulk the windows it voids whatever warrantee there it! Very disappointed.

Sales process was great, then color choices, tile, brick etc. became an issue. Forced to revert to other choices. Still trying to get little quality issues resolved in the warranty process. Slow to respond, some final inspection items still need to be corrected 2 months after closing. Not being negative, I just expect quicker, better service.

Location of home and floor plan well liked and met our needs. Quality and workmanship was disappointing and expected better. The people at Lennar were responsive and worked to address a few issues encountered and made things right. We had higher standards than the contractors used for some of the work performed, but do understand supply and resource shortages played a major role into some of the problems. All builders are experiencing this problem. Overall, we like the home and satisfied with resolutions.

Leannar mortgage was great made everything easy everything went smooth. Quantity vs quality for sure lots of mistakes
