Buried leftover construction materials in my front yard

My house was built pushed back because they buried leftover construction material in the front yard and my driveway in the back is half the length as everyone else. We have no choice but to park our cars at the guest parking and the home owner association sent us letters that we can't park there. Our driveway + garage can't fit all our cars.

Disappointment in Quality

Seems the subs are very questionable. I have seen 4 homes in addition to mine that had major plumbing problems, including flooding and having to replace flooring. The plumbing contractor must be a very cheap company because the quality is not there. I worry what will happen in 1-5 years based on the issues I have seen so far. Also, landscape work has been awful and they put down dead grass and don't bother to replace it. All they care about is covering the ground. Not how it looks or fills in.

Love the home but...

We love our home but the painting, caulking, grouting and finishing is done very poorly. You would expect more skilled workers to be part of a home that’s valued at over a half million dollars. We’ve been trying to get attention for it for a few months. Will hope for resolution once the COVID mania is over. The quality of fixtures (shower heads, lighting, fans) are more reflective of homes in the $400k range so Lennar has surely skimped on these things. That will be an additional project we’ll need to take on ourselves. The warranty team is great though; it’s just unfortunate how many ...

Lennar - A lot of patch work around the house that we are just now noticing.

A lot of patch work around the house that we are just now noticing. Paint job was definitely subpar. Wood floors have so many chips in different corners. There is cement on my grass from when they did the back porch. Patch job around the ceiling fan outlet caps. Let’s just say there are a lot of signs that the home was made in a rush. Really annoying but improvements in terms of workmanship are needed

Non standard pricing on townhome designs and no quality of workmanship
- Anonymous

There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. So, there is no standard trusted builder pricing as the prices going along the tide. Faster completion of homes, but no proper nailing & who knows what's gone inside the drywall !

Responsiveness to issues would be a five star for warranty but other concerns a one star.

Considering this is a 55+ community the access to the A/C unit is in the attic. OK if you have a 2 story model. I don’t but A/C is still in the attic with access pull down stairs in the master closet. The last step to reach the attic floor is approximately 3 feet. An extremely dangerous and for most older people impossible to accomplish. As a former Appraiser I have a reasonable understanding of building codes. I find it hard to believe that this is code compliant. Additionally we have an enormous amount of dead trees throughout the development. I have one on my front lawn. When I spoke with ...

Experience in rather disappointing, but since I have bought it there's no choice. For instance, any addition or modifications can only be done by their 3rd party contractors or warranty is voided. When contacted 3rd party for addition, they are charging 3 to 4 times higher.

Not a great experience

Overall it wasn’t a great experience. I was not made aware of my lot boundaries even after closing, slates were not installed. Lot of my land is wasted because that I can’t even use and there are bushes and it’s not leveled. There is a slant on my backyard where Walter stagnates but every time I ask builder, he just come up with some reasoning. Bad design : hvac outer unit makes a lot of noise. And master bed room is right above it. You can’t even sleep it’s that much of noise. Same noise is there in the living room. That unit shouldn’t have been placed outside of living room.

While our initial experience with Lennar's sales representatives was positive, the construction process quickly revealed significant shortcomings that left us deeply dissatisfied with our new home. Pros: Friendly Sales Team: The sales representatives were helpful and attentive during the initial stages of the home buying process. However, their involvement significantly decreased once construction began, leaving us feeling abandoned. Cons: Poor Communication and Lack of Transparency: Lennar failed to proactively inform us about critical milestones like the pre-drywall inspection. It ...

Communication was not clear during the process. Had to chase down contacts. Continuous pushbacks with no explanation of why. Overall, I would not buy another home from the builder based on that part alone. I was so glad to be done with all reps in every process during the process. Nice home but stressful process to close. Not worth it

When my realtor and I went to the Lennar office for our scheduled appointment, we were told we couldn't use the prices on the sheet we were handed as there had been a price increase. That evening we received the updated sheet from Michelle, and yes there was a 5 thousand increase. The next day, March 1, we returned to the office as I had make the decision to go ahead and purchase the house. I left a voided check so that my account could be debited for the deposit. The problem was that the contract didn't get written and processed until a week later. During that weeks time the price increased ...

Kevin B., one of the builders, has been very helpful in regard to helping work through the many wrinkles in my punch out/completion list; which was very extensive. Nick C., Lennar Area Manager has been very unprofessional and has not followed up.

I would advise potential homeowners to consider waiting to close on their home until their ENTIRE punch list is either complete or is very short and reasonable in length. It is reiterated to you once you receive a closing date, especially at the end of the month The subcontractors for paint, Nickolas C, area construction manager, has yet to meet with me despite my requests as well as the requests from the builder and the Director of Customer Care for him to do so. I hesitate to refer other buyers to purchase from Lennar.

The orientation of the home as it turns out was awful. NOTHING was explained regarding hot water tank use and especially all the RING stuff and the fact it had to be installed within 55 days or HIPPO insurance comes with money owed due to missing the date. NONE of that was ever explained.

Highly disappointed overall. House is cute. But craftmanship is poor. I still have a red GA clay backyard; a patio that is cracked so badly the underlayment is showing. The knee wall is the shower is very titled - leaning tower of Piza style. Shower floor has issues. But the mud yard is gruesome.
