We recently built our new Florida Home with Lennar. Overall, we are very happy with our experience. We bought during the period where they were requiring highest and best offers, which is a bit frustrating. Not only did we not get to choose our options, but we had to bid against everyone else. That being said, the house they delivered was mostly what we were looking for, they delivered a little bit late, but compared to other builders they were fast. The value is great compared to other builders in the area. Our Sales agent was excellent, and the service responses so far have been great as well. It's easy for people to complain about their builders, but when we look around and see the overall state of the housing market, contractor labor shortages, supply chain issues, etc., we feel that the builder did a pretty good job despite those challenges. Sure not everything was perfect, but anyone expecting perfection in this market is either going to pay through the nose, or be seriously disappointed. It was a good experience.

Too many open items at and after closing. The Lennar team is addressing them but some items remain out of stock and are yet to be installed (bathroom light fixtures)

Corporate needs to take off the suits and put work clothes on and get down to the nitty gritty see their output of their constructions

We purchased a fully upgraded home in a new Lennar development, and were pleased by the excellent result. High professionalism was shown by every employee we encountered. The pandemic years caused some delays in the build process, but Lennar persevered and still delivered.

Original purchase policy for the condo’s had us on a waiting list as first available, as soon as our turn came up Lennar changes it’s policy to highest bidder. This caused a delay in our purchase along with a price increase.

High volume builder. Some options but not a custom builder. Good experience so far.

Warranty responsiveness has been excellent. Vendors providing the service not so much. Continue to find minor construction related flaws and submit my request for service.

This is my first home purchase ever, so consider me a novice in home buying despite my research done ahead of time. They do earn your trust but in the beginning, it is so full of selling you this and that, false promises, etc. For example, my salesperson promised me a sound proof door considering that was a deal breaker to buy one of the last remaining houses in the community. 6 months later, still no door and learned that this should not have been made. I hate having to out work orders in only because I know the house is settling and it may require to have the contractors come out more than once but that's just me feeling like a pest. I love the 1 year maintenance warranty as the house settles. I wish somethings would have been disclosed upfront a little more and not oversold as they were good things, when they are not (appliances, etc). I never experienced Lennar homes before but am impressed overall with the home and the "Everything Included". LIke I said, first time homebuyer and it was a nerve wracking experience but they helped make the transition easy. ... More

The area to live in is great. Very near a brand new Publix Market & shops, many golf courses within 5 miles. The houses are very well built and priced correctly for the area.

Sales team (James) was very supportive and helpful, even months after the sale. Resolution of punch list items was handled slowly but very professionally and thoroughly by Lennar staff (Danna).

Lennar sells a great product! Value was important and we definitely received that with our new home. As with any new home, there will be some issues that have to be addressed after purchase but Lennar’s CustomerCare team is quick to respond.

The Lennar home buying experience went well except for one thing. I had an unexpected medical issue and asked for an extension on the closing date. Lennar denied it and it almost cost me the home.

Our overall experience was very good, there were some issues that were not appropriately resolved without a struggle and that is unfortunate. We really had to work hard to get Lennar to do the right thing with some Warranty repairs.

We were pleased with the whole closing process - nothing too difficult. As we were moving in, little things needed attention. Refrigerator water line was not hooked up. After a few days, it was taken care of. The dishwasher rinse box was cracked and needed to be replaced. That was taken care of within a few days after the second repairman took care of it. Our first week here, we inquired about garbage cans and recycling bins. That still has not been resolved 3 weeks after asking for help. Our garage door opener was dangling. That was repaired within a day or two. We never received our HOA coupon/payment books, or any mail for that matter, and found out we were late with HOA payments and were charged late fees. Still don't know where the coupon books are. Four different apps for making payments is a bit much, but I'm sure we'll manage. Had a tough time getting ceiling fans installed and working with the light switches. We still have painter's tape on the master bathroom door - touch ups were not done yet even though it was reported a week or two ago. Lastly, our Internet is not set up yet. That should be taken care of this week. We are hoping to be living there by next weekend, but in my opinion, most of these things should have been done prior to us trying to move in. The follow - through with some of the office workers isn't very good. I'm sure, with this community in its early stages of development, there are many issues that need to be taken care of. Things are good. No major issues with our home. Our home is very nice!

After walk thru and sign off, part of driveway was removed and replaced, cement was very dark gray, was told it would lighten as it cured, 2 months later, lightened a little but looks terrible, also at walk walk thru noticed a lot of ants, it got worse every day, purchased a lot of products, and contracted pest control company , reported to Lennar several times, asked for assistance for a few weeks while unoccupied, I was brushed off, now after a few months noticing a lot of little issues, stains and paint on carpet and tiles, windows dirty, etc etc, just not move in ready in my opinion.

I had a good overall experience with Lennar and the Condo with one minor issue and one major issue that I never received a satisfactory response. Respectfully Bob T.

I had money coming back that I desperately needed instead im in my new home struggling. I was told up to the day I closed I was getting money back...instead I had tor fork out money. IT is sad that I had fork out money after being told I was fine and that I would get My deposit at closing....now I'm behind on everything and just moving in. I barely got my lights on in my name. I'm still very sad and disappointed this situation has really put me into a bind. I now may be late on my 1st House pmt due to this set back caused by YOU guys. My closing was moved 4 times extended by you guys because you all did not want to do a dry closing. The money was there but you guys continued to charge me daily despite being told it would be taken care of by the seller. well it wasn't and it caused me to suffer a hardship at the closing table, and it's causing me to still struggle to get that money back, I now have no money for emergencies. I wanted to close the LANIA area in like all of my neighbors have now I can't I missed the special. I am now doing a 2 hr commute and questioning was all of this even worth it and starting to have regrets. No one cares or watched out for the little man..I was a victim because I had to wait on the DP assistance and then penalized for it after being told that I was fine. please audit my account Thanks ... We closed on our Lennar house on July 10, 2025. Our Lennar sales guy was great! We feel like we got a good house with a great view for a great price!…..however, after closing, we noticed many shortcomings in the quality of our home. All the walls were painted with a cheap commercial grade paint, so plan on painting ALL your walls. Lennar doesn’t furnish toilet paper holders, towel bars etc! They also don’t install gutters along the back or sides of your house, only the front! Within 6 weeks of closing, we’ve already have a roof leak. At least Lennar is sending a roofer right away, but we feel the quality of workmanship is subpar! Also, when you belong to an HOA, you have to abide by THEIR rules. This can be a good thing, however, if you want to change your front door color to a different color than what’s provided, you have to pick something in the Associations color scheme and get it approved. Driving down our street, and thru new home buildings, can be tricky, as there are many trucks, supplies & garbage to navigate around. But hopefully this will be gone in a couple of months. Being a person who has a construction background, I just expect a little more quality when buying a new home! So that’s why the title of my review, is the jury is still out???? ... More

When I request anything from Lennar, they are very responsive. When requesting something from third parties, like Edmonson, they are not as responsive. This was a first time contacting Edmonson, so they get a mulligan. But when you leave a message and a call back number, and no one calls back, that's a problem.
