The Condo kitchen vent is not taking cooking smoks out, this is an big issue for Asian families, I have been trying to point this issue from the very begining when I started this purchase deal. The Condo management - Tropical Asles' person who is responsible for Condo structural changes is very non responsive to my request, if I don't get its approval to install a vent to take cooking smoke out, I might consider selling it as this condo is not suitable for Asian cooking style. Secondly, there is a negative side by not installing a fresh air intake in the condo which makes indoor air quality bad overnight with long time no air exchanges, in Minnesota housing regulations, this is a must have, normally contruction will drill a hole in the basement somewhere, and use flex alumi hose to bring fresh air into the basement close to the furnace fan, then the fan will blow fresh air throughout the house, I lived in this kind of house for 40 years, I never need to open my window to get fresh air. Overall, we had a good experience with our purchase. The warranty group has been responsive and professional. Our sales agent, Matt, was excellent.

Project manager - Lorenzo was very professional and helpful during the walk through as well as afterwards to help review and address any concerns.

Mortgage process was good. Condo was completed on time and process closing was simple. The only issue would be the fact that Lennar does not put any light fixtures in their condos.

Lennar is superb at building golf communities. The home choices are fine. However, the finishes are outdated, ugly, and exactly the same. It’s unfortunate you pay so much money and then end up sending it to the landfill. I know Lennar buys in bulk, however it doesn’t have to be so dated especially the tile walls and flooring. A suggestion would be to give the buyers a choice to pay the difference and make it their responsibility of having the material on site on time. And if not Lennar installs their materials. It could be a lot better. Figure it out.

Wish they offered upgrade on appliances and basic paint.

Sales and closing were excellent. Upon delivery of home the product was better than I expected. The only exception was the cleaning of the property. I did not expect to spend so much time on preparing the property to move in. Due to low paint quality I hired professionals to repaint the entire home, most people due the same. I also had to hire a professional company to clean the floor tile, this was unexpected.

Happy with the home / lot we selected, no major issues with the construction and quality . A lot of gray areas in the closing process .

Start with the understanding Lennar is a production builder and you are not buying or paying for a one-off custom home and expectations will be reached . The overall experience was greater than my expectations and I was happy for the cost/value received . The small warranty issues have been quickly addressed.

Easy process to buy a home

From start to finish I was kept updated on details and always knew what to expect. Mark was great. Roberto our realtor was also great working in conjunction with Mark at Lennar. The punch list items are completed, some issues I had to keep reminding them about but overall they took care of me.

At times, the process seemed troublesome and concerning. This was mostly due to the difficult time we had communicating with our builder. Lennar could do more to better educate customers about the process to alleviate frustrations. I will say that the promises that Lennar made have been kept and they delivered a beautiful home. We were very fortunate to have a great salesman that helped with the communication concerns and offered very good advice when we were stressed. We also found the majority of Lennar construction managers very helpful and willing to offer advice. I do recommend Lennar and would advise anyone considering a new build to pack your patience and ask lots of questions during the process. Be sure to get a commitment from your salesman to be your advocate during the process or find a salesman that will. This is especially true if you are not located close enough to monitor progress. So far I have had no issues.

Really enjoy the Cypress model home that we purchased. Got a little crazy before closing. Just had to take a deep breath, get closed, and start working on punch list items. List has gotten pretty short after nearly 2 months with only some minor cosmetic items remaining. Construction manager has worked diligently to help us out.

Our homebuilding experience with Lennar has been, for the most part, pretty satisfactory. Given the ongoing labor and material shortages and inflationary pressures, Lennar was able to produce an astounding number of completed properties, ours being one of them, in Babcock Ranch over a relatively short time. Our sales representative, Shaun, was very good to work with. He always took time to speak with us and he answered all of our questions within a reasonable time. Our biggest complaint would be the missed completion dates. However, given the manpower and supply chain issues, along with the ultra competitive market and a hurricane, Lennar did a credible job. Build quality was acceptable - not perfect - could have been better, but could have been much worse. Initial construction - foundation, block laying, concrete flatwork and framing all appeared to be very good. Unfortunately, the closer to finish they got, the more glaring and numerous the deficiencies became. But, so far, Lennar has remedied or has promised to take care of any problem we've brought to their attention. Fortunately, all of the problems we've noticed appear to be aesthetic and no structural issues. Since we closed two weeks after Hurricane Ian passed through the Ft. Myers area, probably the best testament to structural integrity is the fact that the only damage our property sustained was a few loose screens on the lanai and some landscaping needing to be re-staked. Another appealing aspect of buying a Lennar home was the "Everything's Included" package. Having all of the GE appliances installed and operational (actually, our dryer did not work, but Jordan, our construction manager, quickly installed a replacement), blinds installed on all the windows, the Ring doorbell and security system, Level lock, Eero mesh wi-fi, and epoxy garage floor coating, not only added monetary value, but eliminated the hassle of shopping for, acquiring and installing all of these items. Since walkthrough and closing, Jordan, has been very responsive. We're hoping that continues. We closed on our home on August 30,2022. We expected it to be ready to move into when we arrived. There were about 27 items not finished, some big and there was no certificate of occupancy. Arthur set us up in a condo on the property for 4 nights until we could move in. The personnel we worked with were great to get it finished; however, the subcontractors were slow to respond while some materials were hard to get according to the construction managers. There are still 9 unfinished items to complete and it is October 19, 2022—49 days from closing. Lennar corporate should not allow any closings to occur until all items are complete. Now we are working with the warranty department to get things done. The home is good quality, but completion is a big problem. We love the home, but it has been very stressful. ... More

Seamless purchase, closing and after service. Good job overall.

We moved from Virginia to Florida and worked with the Lennar team to buy our first Lennar home in Florida. The team was great to work with virtually. The only issues we had was that they tried to finish too many houses at once and there were a lot of small things not finished when we closed and moved in, and the house wasn't cleaned out so we ended up cleaning some of it ourselves. But we LOVE the house and so far feel like it's a great value!!

The final inspection and closing were delayed because the home as not really in the. Th construction manager did a great job under trying circumstance to complete the home as close to the original closing date as possible. All Lennar personnel were very helpful in addressing any outstanding items identified from the home inspection.

No complaints at all. Love our house.

Bo was wonderful through out the process after taking possession as there were a few things that needed attention. He made sure all issues were taken care of and in a timely manner.

Good value, product not finished when closing.

It is snnoying that they do not give you any choice in the design.

Our biggest issue was that our getting the keys after closing was delayed for four hours because of a snafu in obtaining the occupancy certificate and even then, our unit had not been cleaned and our lanais screens were not in. That happened about a week later. Also, nobody helped us set up the technology for our smart phone and we still haven't figured out how to hook everything up including the security system and the door lock.
