Buying a home is very stressful and there was a delay in closing but all through the proceess there was good communication about what was going on. The sales team and the builder team were responsive and helpful. To date any of the issues we have had after the sale have been addressed promptly.

Refused to retest or fix my radon issue. My home reads 5-6 in finished basement.

Everyone was extremely nice. I was concerned about hearing traffic from my townhouse bc I don’t sleep well. I was told about the insulation and that I wouldn’t hear anything. I do hear traffic and sometimes the neighbors. It’s not too bad. I have also read on the FB group that there is a $1200 per year county building assessment that is never disclosed to us which is pretty upsetting since we apparently have the highest taxes in Sussex County. It’s a very nice community and I’m really enjoying it. So far any issues that I’ve had have been responded to quickly.

The purchase process went well, however we weren’t provided an option to make changes to the preselected options.

We had given up on a new home due to Covid. But when Lennar in Lewes opened a new section with a lot perfect for us, we were thrilled. We were hoping to be in faster than the 8 months it took from contract signing. But 8 months was our absolute limit and Lennar met that goal. Communication during the construction phase was difficult until we realized that the construction manager Tom as the person to go to for reliable information. We valued his honesty and responsiveness. Now that we are in, we have some concerns in that we are the very first house in this development with a basement. We had some issues during construction that were difficult to resolve but the good news is that they WERE resolved. Now we have some initial issues with a wet wall in the basement and unacceptably high humidity levels in the house, and we are hopeful that Lennar will be responsive without too much difficulty. we wish Lennar could offer just a few more options in the house. No bathroom towel bars, the absence of any utility sink and refusal to provide one as an option seems very strange. But I guess the reality is that keeping options to a minimum helps keeps the price as reasonable as it is. And it is VERY reasonable. In sum, we are thrilled with the home. My concerns lower their grade from an A to a B+ We certainly recommend them ... More

We love the floor plan of the Jefferson model and it fits our needs (and our furniture) perfectly. We also appreciate all of the "upgraded" features of the home.

I should have been more thorough with the inspection. After inspection I noticed caulk issues in the missing, inconsistencies in the drywall that are really obvious when the sun hits it. Windows that are not sealed properly and cold air streaming in. The garage door does not close properly. All things tha could have been addressed before closing.

Home is beautiful, however the final finishes inside the home were very carelessly done, eg. doors all gashed or nicked, woodwork scratched, tile in bathroom needed replacement in certain areas, cabinets not adjusted properly, sliding door leading to outside still not fitting correctly. These issues were reported and are being taken care of, so we are fine with that, just to bad the final stages were left so shabby. Our project manager and home rep are trying their best to correct all issues.

Beautiful home could not wait to move it there were a few minor issues once I did but all were resolved

Overall good sales person Courtney was fantastic very helpful and very courteous. Construction manager Matt high integrity also service manager Gary is top notch They are addressing issues timely. Great team. I think the company would do better with some more help tea,s seem stretched when it comes to the construction aspect. Love the house design and neighborhood and good value for the money

Pros: Nice layouts, good standard package inclusions, nice color palette Cons: Interior door quality. Minor detail finishes. Overall: good value for the price point. Extra kudos for Matt the construction manager. Top Notch professional.

People from sales to walk -throughs were very nice. Within 1 month we’re seeing finishing work that is disappointing such as multiple caulking cracks that was used to fill in gaps around moldings in kitchen, bathrooms, up stairway, windows, around floors & doors. We saw some at pre walk- through that I guess fresh application of the same stuff was used; We’re making a list for our 1 year but will not want a repeat application that will end up the same. Bedroom carpet feels like no padding was used. Garage & storage room drywall taping & finishing job: - we’ve spent thousands & days of work making it look presentable. Selling disclosure has a “ yes” issue w/ no explanation in comments that we can’t get resolved for our records. ... More

Like the house also the attention the seller uses was very positive. Wishing there was a dining area. Not happy with the material that the builders used. Very low quality of paint and kitchen cabinets used. Would have been nice to have fence around each property for privacy.

Looking for single floor living on a modest budget and lennar met our needs and wants.

Responsiveness to issues post settlement has been great, however, we were not as pleased with the sales experience.

My experience was questionable. The walk through was great. Connor was fantastic and answered all the questions we asked him.

I would suggest you do not go to settlement unless all items are pending are complete. We had a heard time geting very minor things completed when we were told they will be complete on closing day! It will be nice to install bathroom door and leave space where mats can fit in. All doors are made so close to floor , you cannot use bathroom mats which is a safety hazard!

While I feel our overall buying experience was positive, I do feel there can always be improvement. Need to be more realistic about projected closing dates. Puts undue pressure on Project managers already facing supply chain and labor issues. Need to be more conscientious about certain installation, design and application. - Very simple fixes that get ignored. The response has been very good from the customer care. The suggestion that something is "not a warranty issue" or "a Lennar problem" are questionable in a home that's been occupied for less than 2 months.

Beautiful homes, but be sure you are THOROUGH on your "Celebration" (HA!)walk-through. Once you sign on that dotted line, they are on to the next. Sure, you will get a call to be ensure nobody else goes through what you did, but they do nothing to resolve your own issues. So I'm warning others here too.

The mortgage process was smooth. We have had some issues with the home. Lennar has been responsive. I feel if the contractors did the job right from the beginning we wouldn’t of had these issues. Biggest complaint is I had a leak in my roof, not acceptable in a brand new home. Also had a nail thru my cable in the media box for the fios connection. A chip in my shower floor. Caulking was sloppy in the bathroom. A rose bush was missing. I feel the workers are rushed to get the work done.
