We had very few issues with our home build. The local sales office, our loan representative and most of all, our building contractor, Gilbert, made all the difference. They were very responsive and went above and beyond the call. We did experience a few issues with the main corporate office and the "personal touch" could've been better. Paperwork was lost, including our earnest money check. The corporate office said they found our earnest check, but we're still waiting for that refund because we had to come up with extra cash at closing to make up for that. But the home is very well built and small issues like a misaligned cabinet door have been addressed. I would also note that the Studio process of selecting options could be a little more streamlined, less convoluted and easier to navigate. Pricing can be confusing and some options like lighting can be more expensive than just purchasing your own lights and installing them yourself. I would have no reservation in recommending a KB Home to those looking to build. Just be diligent and involved with the process and you should be fine. ... More

Our home building and buying process was very smooth. Everyone was very professional and personable. All of our questions were answered before and after our process. Most importantly everything was done within the timeframe given.

The project manager (Cesar) did an excellent job in addressing our issues. He was always available, good communicator, very adaptive with the schedule, and most importantly, he ensures that the work is done correctly and that we are satisfied. Overall, I'm glad that we bought a KB Home. I truly value the excellent support.

We were first time homebuyers and the process went very smooth. We love our home. The only complaint I have is the materials used are cheap.

The Forman Trevor was very helpful and knowledgeable about the house as it went up and kept me abreast of which I really appreciate.

First off I dont like the pre-engineered lumber in the ceiling space, but all new homes are built this way. It prevents storing or walking in attic space. Second with all new homes there are tweeks that need to be addressed Travis and Ishedro made sure to take care of all these items. Third nice little features like the side fences go near the front of the house and options to add extra outlets and lights (like in the garage) were nice inexpensive options. Fourth our house (built 2019) is in an all electric neighborhood and our new energy star certified home lived up to its certification. Our electric bill was half what our combined gas and electric bills were for the same month last year at our old home (built 2017). ... More

The people at kb homes are nice and professionals. The home buying process went smooth. They provide great customer service and quality workmanship.

There are always horror stories you hear about new home builders and owners who are unhappy with their new home. Our story is NOT one of those stories. Ours was a great story, a pleasant story, a great home, and continues to be to this day. From the design studio, to KB Home Loans, to now living and loving our home - KB Home has be a surprise in the many things they have done for us and our home. The little things in the home that take a lot of the worry out home ownership. Lots of included items that you might take for granted are there so we dont have to worry about them. Sure, it's not 100% perfect - there are a few very minor things I might have liked to seen done differently. But I tell you it is pretty darn close to perfect. KB Home did a great job working with us and helping us even after we moved into the home. Their process was easy to use and they were usually quick to respond to issues we have.

We have had a positive experience with our home building process. We were always kept in the loop and up to date on everything that was going on each week. Anything that needed to be tended to was taken care of immediately. The people we worked with from the salesman, the planning center, the contractor, and on have been very friendly and helpful in every way. We recommend KB homes.

Overall I am satisfied with KB Homes finished product. There are a few pending items that still need to be addressed but the staff has done a good job at scheduling the required repairs.

We love our new KB Home. However we were a bit disappointed that the top layer of cement in the garage, porch, and back porch had to be resurfaced. The construction supervisor was able to coordinate it and it went according as planned, but it was stressful for us as we had a full garage that had to be loaded onto a U-Haul truck, parked overnight, then unloaded in the AM. Super inconvenient after having moved two weeks prior. It was due to rain supposedly, but my question was why did this foundation/cement not get inspected prior to moving to the next phase of building? Nobody saw or caught it until we moved in and I noticed our garage cement was full of chips. Would have liked to be reimbursed for the $110 U-haul rental, but didn't get much traction on that wish with KB. As mentioned we are happy with the home and happy that KB fixed the problem. ... More

Nice home, great neighborhood. KB were very attentive to fix any minor issues prior to closing.
