Issues with construction take too long to be corrected. Construction manager is eager to help with issues, but once he passes the information to higher up, it seems to drag on.

My sales rep, Sara S., was absolutely wonderful. She was very responsive and attentive to any issue or question i had, even on her off days.

The value of the house was great, but the quality control of the workmanship was poor and responses to issues didn't get fix in a timely manner.

I enjoyed my home buying experience. Our sales representative was very attentive. I have voiced that the workmanship needs to be better. A multiple cosmetic and other issues have surfaced after closing on home. I would recommend hiring an outside inspector. Also, if you don’t rate the construction team a 10/10 after the closing survey, they call you and belittle your survey response.

KB Home had good customer experience but materials and quality were not up to par compared to other homebuilders.

KB failed in my view in handling customer service in view of the pandemic and builder problems that ensued and affected the buyers. Employees in the field were left to handle questions/problems without support from management.

It has been long but over all I'm content. I just wish they responded faster to issues

We have had 3 consecutive new homes built. This by far is the worst experience of all! Materials are adequate yet the workmanship is poor.

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

The quality of the finished product at final walk through was not as expected. The project manager did not seem concerned that this final issues we pointed out 2 weeks before closing were not fixed the day before we were to close. We had to beg them to get the issues fixed 24 hrs. before closing. We have also had a number of issues after closing. The driveway needed to be redone twice and the roof leaked into the home and things got wet inside. Other than that we like the home and the floorplan works well.

Not happy to pay HOA for our “gated community “ when the gate is not working more than it does work.

Material are very cheap and break fast

Kept delaying the closing date with no remorse. Material is not as high quality.

I initially enjoyed working with the KB people. What I want other homebuyers to know is almost all the basic things that should be included with the home is an upgrade (meaning more money)! Was told that I had an extra 28,000 for additional upgrades.I was mislead & couldn't get the patio that I really wanted so badly!

Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience.

During construction- take care of the surrounding property for those who have moved in during construction.

I had a great experience until final close day. I was promise a clean house and it was still dirty and still had to do repairs on it.

I Had a decent experience. Best part was how consistent the property manager at Carter landing Keri was. She was the best with keeping me informed of progress of the home while it was being built . I didn’t care for how inconsistent the superintendent was. Seemed like he was overwhelmed with his work load. He could use an assistant covering so many communites

We’ve had several issues most of which have been dealt with but the quality of the workmanship was poor lack of communication throughout the process was poor,and I feel we should have gotten some sort of compensation from kb for the inconvenience caused to have the repairs done to our new home…
