We love the community and overall the home. We also really like the location. We have a hard time understanding why we were given false info on flood zone. Whether it’s going to be remapped or not, upper management has stated it will be. The correct info should be given to the homebuyer.

Overall, the buying experience left a little to be desired. We had multiple salespeople and none of them were top notch. The individual that we met with in the design studio was great. The design studio could of had more options but overall still made some good picks. Our superintendent was awesome and very helpful. He made our home buying experience better than anyone else we dealt with. If we had to go back, we are not sure we would purchase from KB again, but we do love our home. Gave them 4 stars because our superintendent made up for other areas that were lacking.

I had an overall good experience except for when i needed to communicate with the financial consultant. He would take days to respond to messages. After moving in when repairs needed to be made it was annoying to have different people come in different days rather than have all the repair me come out on the same day which meant i had to get multiple days off work. And some worker would not even show up on the day they were scheduled.

Ontario is good for stay.

Sales, design, closing and construction staff were all great to work with. In a pandemic year prohibiting in person contact, we had to make many design and construction decisions from afar. Not the best way to do things, but we got them done with the support of the KB Home staffers. Most all glitches and construction issues were corrected and solved under the direction of the construction supervisor.

The home is great, the neighborhood is great, and we got everything we asked for. However during and after the closing process it extremely difficult to get anyone to address our concerns (closing documents, needed small repairs/overlooked flaws, etc.).

Attention to detail could use improvement.

I bought an inventory house so many things I can not say anything even very weird design and people sale people just answer me 《 someone ordered this house that way 》 but very weird issue for example Outlet power did not work any button on the walls when I installed fans I can use only remote control but they told me someone ordered to build this way so why we stupid to pay and build all button off and on the lights and fans on the walls?? Why? Or another sample outside under the roof we got 3 corners got outlet power for camera system and they missed one corner front right side I showed them and asked for help they also defensed people designed this way so we can not do the 4th one for you Cable outlet for TV only master room and living room got outlet. 3 others room did not have outlet! 3 others builders around showed me it was standardized nowadays Well I paid 20 000 usd to get kb house more than other 3 builders around same zone same square feet 1700 but quality was worse and old design more than them if I paid 233000 to buy a house at Ryan builder I got full upgraded back Patio tiles sinks fans wsher dryer all set Well I learned a big lesson to buy first house then Too late to say anywords ... We love our new home. however there's been some issues and trying to get the builder to take care of it in a timely manner is proving to be difficult.

Still do not have mail box key after over 2 months living in the house. Late for closing day after paying for weeks All mails including bills kept at U S P O all this time, had to pay late fees Flooring upstairs and down stair were not installed properly had to strip out and reinstall after almost a month moving in, toilet clogged when first move in. Ants were all over the house. However, Robert who is KB customer care representative helped solved most problems after closing

There were a number of things wrong with the house after we moved in but the construction manager and his staff were very responsive and quick to fix them.

Not too bad, a little hiccups here and there which was resolved by some calls.

Closing date is critical problem. we didn't know until last minute. It is not easy for us to plan to move with mover. We wish had more time to plan.

We managed to buy a new home. Overall, the construction quality seems fine, and the construction superintendent was good at getting contractors to fix a handful of little things. The company was not impressive, though. The floor plan has quite a bit of wasted space, particularly in bathrooms. There is no gas service or phone-company service (CenturyLink) in the neighborhood. That means no gas appliances and no competition for internet service. Despite the company's claims of energy efficiency, the water heater is off the high end of the government scale for cost of operation. The sales person and others in the company were sometimes hard to reach. Avoid using the company's preferred title company, which seems to defer to the builder on everything. You get what you pay for and even a bit more.

We bought our house from KB Home in Valley Center, CA. I asked a sales rep not to rush closing the deal as I wanted to avoid any mistakes. She made us feel that we had no choice, but to buy one of "the last two" houses left, while a half of the community was still being built. Then she neglected to offer us to customize our house in their KB Studio. The house, which she offered was completely built out and we had no choice, but to agree to buy it as it was without any customization. The funny thing is that they are still showing and building those houses. Was she lying to us in the first place trying to close the deal by the end of the month? Had she completely ignored her customer's wishes? She could have offered us another house, which they were still building and let us customize it to our taste. After the deal was closed, we noticed that the house had not gutters installed. She told us that the gutters were the optional feature and should had been ordered at the KB studio before the house was sold. The problem was she never even mentioned their KB studio to us. What a catch 22 situation! :) As for the house, I think this a very solid house for its price. The quality is good, but if you want something better, just make sure you ask for KB Studio design session to be arranged. Otherwise, you will end up with the most inexpensive options. The rest of the team on site was quite responsive to our needs and requests, when we had a couple of small issues after we moved in. It wasn't the best experience or the best material that were used for the house, but we had a pretty good experience. Always got notifications, updates and walk through's during the stages of the build. The material could use a big improvement moving forward.

The loan process was very stressful and the communication between us and loan officer was stressful. They need to work on better communication

Construction crew is great. Sales team is slow to respond

KB Homes is solid on quality, design and build options. The issue they fall down on is the lack of follow through on promises made during construction. Big on promises, small on delivery. Constant squeaky wheel to get things done and completed; no modifications can be made - period. Constantly ask to fill out a 5 star review. You earn what you get, not what you want
