Actually I was not such a good experience because the seller did not place what I had asked for and never put it on. At no time did he contact me, for which I do not recommend it, as for the staff my house was not ready until the same day of closing, due to lack of communication

I need to say 100% satisfied with the service of the construction manager, New Home Sales Counselor, and Loan Department. The materials are good but could be better. The Responsiveness to issues is fast but not necessary the results are as we asked. The construction workers don't have enough attention to the details. Issues that I want to share with no resolution at our favor.: Asking for a better more capacity AC unit ( I will pay the cost difference), a lot of construction debris over already installed appliances (we asked for microwave replacement) and very bad quality grass. It's the little things in life that matter most and the finish carpentry was extremely poor. Walls not plumb, messy grout lines, dings & nicks everywhere (interior & exterior). I also need to mention KBH's framing means & methods. KBH doesn't cover the whole exterior shell of their homes in plywood sheathing or board of any kind because their homes have been "engineered" and the sheathing is only needed in "certain locations" to meet the shear strength requirements. So KBH uses 25 to 50% less sheathing per home, saving them a ton of money but not necessarily the consumer. From a business standpoint I get it, but from a consumers standpoint KBH just seems cheap. Another small rub I had was the 24 inch on center framing (in lieu of 16" standard) for interior walls that aren't consider load barrier. It would be helpful for customer service to address issues a bit quicker.

One thing I do agree is when something is wrong they fix it right away. the buying experience was awesome. the sales team were amazing. The onsite contractor was good just promised to many ting he couldn't deliver. so that why I gave it three stars on trustworthiness. But I let everyone were I bought my house and who helped me from the sales team.

Response to issues by KB is good but response by the subcontractor is not very reliable.

So first time home owner on my own. They delivered the home a few weeks ahead of schedule, but all fixes that needed attention took weeks to correct. I did have quite a few issues, but when I reported it, managers took care of it right away and were pleasantly attentive. Definitely a value for any one purchasing with KB. I would recommend that upgrades be done after closing . Costs are quite high for what you get with their design center. Over all, very pleased with my choice to purchase here. This review is after 2 months of occupancy. Used KB to finance and homeowners insurance.

Great experience working with KB!

Only problem I had was there were alot of work debris left over from construction. But once addressed the issue was promptly taken care of. I was also not getting communication from the loan guy that was assigned to me. At first would not return calls until the next day or very later that day and would sometimes not know what to the answer was, even with simple questions. Def5did not have a great experience with that. (The current loan officer).

I have had some issues with the home but the staff has been great at repairing them quickly.

Pleads for ratings of 10 for perfection is predominant but be careful AFTER their surveys. Verbal promises are forgotten and you end up looking dumb for making requests based on non written commitments. A definite shift of attitude begins. I'm hoping I'm wrong. And your follow up appts are always during your working hours-which means lost wages each time you have issues. Make sure to test flush toilets for longtime running water.

Overall good

As a first time home buyer, i was assured that I had a very good team. They are very thorough in their response and excellent pre and post service.

The home buying process is nerve wrecking. I will admit I was assigned to a pretty hard working team. The home loan team of Moore and Hylton. And any discrepancies with the house Gillespie and Abdul was quick to handle them. So yes I'm happy it's over...... hopefully

Good customer service.

Overall very good. A couple of things that needed to be seen to but if I needed something Paul always answered my texts and helped out.

The sales team, financing and construction supervisor were great. The paint finishing was below average for the price paid.

I was pleasantly surprised with my home building/buying experience. I’ve had a couple of issues since closing and the KB staff has been quick to address my needs/concerns.

We have been in our new home a couple months are enjoying it. This is my 3rd new build so I don’t know if I’m just picky but lots of paint overspray on the tile floors I’m finding throughout the home and messiness in lines of grout and paint on doors, I’ve asked for extra paint stock at least half dozen times and still have yet to get it. I went in with a huge amount of upgrades on cabinets, Quartz countertops and other major items but just went with the standard plumbing in kitchen and bathrooms and installed them ourselves due to the overpricing by the design center. Structurally I am happy with the home, but the cleaning and some labor functions I would say need to be perfected since we spend a lot of money on these homes and I expect precision in the completion of the home . All in all, I would recommend KB Homes but would be very observant when doing your final walk through. ... More

I like my single story home very much. I bought the 1849 model. One issue I have is that I wish the company would build single story homes near each other instead of being sandwiched in between gigantic two story homes. Also the basic home too expensive to start out with since the buyer is absolutely compelled and finds it necessary to upgrade.

Service is very good, fast and of good quality. There were several minor issues when we just moved in, such as heating and the master bedroom door. They could have been prevented.

Beautiful house and nice people to work with.
