A great homebuying experience overall

House wasn’t completely finished when we moved in and it’s been 7weeks now and we are still waiting for things to be finished. We love our house just wish they would have completed the job prior to us moving in.

It was exciting watching every phase of the house being constructed. When the time came to close and move in there were some issues that needed to be addressed which comes along with new construction. But I was very satisfied with Russell and Brandon addressing our issues in a timely manner. Overall KB gives a beautiful home for your money. I would use them again if I was in the market.

Responsive but nothing being fixed

They were very good at communicating updates including material shortages and revised schedules

Sales are great, a lot of honest suggestions, very responsive too. Construction supervisors are very responsive. But I guess the covid and logistics made things a lot difficult, many jobs were done in a rush, some problems still waiting to be fixed.

Good overall. A little slow in response. The standard is low, have to add more options and the option costs are higher than expected.

Finishing not very well

Dalton and kevin made this experience great if not for them i wouldnt have bought home.

It’s a nice area and the closing part was confusing because when we get our key the person does not know about it they worked hard to get the deadline. Overall it’s okay experience a lot of place to grow. And also hopefully the communication and responsiveness will get better.

If there was an issue customer service took care of it no questions asked. This is the kind of service that makes people happy and be stress free. Jody and Rick took care of any issues that came up.

Great communication with sales, builder/Superintendent and staff.

It was a good experience.

Love the supers on the build side. Sales a little difficult. Design center is amazing, but you have to really realize when they say no changes, they mean it. Mortgage a bit frustrating because you gather everything to be pre-approved, then have to do it all over again within 30 days of closing. Who has time for that??? Nice people, though. I recommend checking progress on new builds at least once a week to avoid surprises.

Unfortunately our home was built during COVID so lots of additional delays. We love our home though!

Great price home was build during pandemic but still was done right

I had direct contact with my contractor and sales representative which made the building process much easier.

Sign for our home on 20 August and after 5 appointments we still have not received the dishwasher washed that we paid for. Just not a priority they put in a temporary one and Whirlpool just gives excuses on why they don’t deliver one. This is really Unacceptable!

The best place to build your house and really good costumer service

The customer rep, Ryan, for the builders that were actually building the home was great. Very informative, helpful, and responsive. There were a lot of minor fixable issues and overall some quality issues with the home. Things like scuffed baseboards, dents and small holes in the walls. A lot of it seems addressable and nothing major where it woule be unfixable has been seen or found. This is a review a couple months into closing so it will have to wait and see how the place holds up in a couple of years. We had a really good experience with KB. They were really nice to work with. And we do love our home. If we could change anything we would have liked to have more "nicer" upgraded options available and have a couple of more upgraded design options such as - interior wall insulation, customized interior wood work like crown molding, shiplap, cabinetry, etc. But overall we had a great experience and everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly.
